We originally installed white composite fencing with these guys in 2022. Work was excellent and communication was good. Recently to support a pool rehab we reconfigured the fence gate location and changed its size and increased the size of a gate on the other side of the house. Despite their schedule being completely slammed, Joe managed to find a way to get us into the schedule to pull the fence down, reconfigure it and screen the pool equipment. This took multiple visits which they managed to slip into cracks in their schedule... and they were instrumental in allowing the pool rehab to go forward on schedule. A problem developed as several of the support posts had rotted, and we noticed the fence was beginning to sag. Excellent Product and Install-we lost our entire fence surrounding our backyard, and our shower was destroyed in the tornado of july 23, 2019. we received a great competitive estimate from Pro Fence in August after the many trees that fell were removed, one company said our job was too difficult for them and didn't even present an estimate ...Pro Fence was swamped with work but they took pity on us and got to us by the end of September with a beautiful cedar fence and shower surround. the install guys were great, very professional ...it was a hard job because the yard was sloping, there was a previous picket fence bolted to a concrete retaining wall that needed to be removed, and we needed low clearance at the bottom due to a small dog. they delivered with a great install that has held up through two bomb cyclones and numerous wind events. we have had people we don't know stop and ring our doorbell to ask who did our fence. they have now done several in the surrounding neighborhood...all looking great! read more

This company was absolutely terrible to deal with. I have three homes on the Cape and have fences in front of all of them - The company that I typically do business with didn't call me back...so I called pro fence. The price was right, the scheduling seemed perfect and I thought that we were all set (that was in April & it's now June and the fence still is not in). The absolute worst part about this, is how they treat their customers. Today we called to get a status update and I assume it was the owner or manager - slammed the phone down and was extremely irritable - when we asked a simple question when is our fence going to get done? I have no idea why he would be upset when it was their company that promise that our fence would be in within a few weeks! Pro fence must be short for professional! These guys not only make beautiful vinyl fences but installed it to perfection! I ordered a vinyl garden fence, which a young man at the shop assisted me and gave me many options. Also, the yellow lab shop dog was friendly. The fence looked even better than I expected! I stopped in one day a few weeks ago and I placed an order for 70' of fence. The person who helped me in the shop seemed a little confused about what I wanted even though I pointed it out directly to him in his yard but he was able to price it up and write up the work order. About 2 weeks later I received a phone call saying it was ready and when I went to pick it up they accidentally manufactured the wrong style fence. The owner was very nice about the mistake and it was an easy fix and he refunded me $100 and dropped off the fence at my house the next day. While I have no grievances about the mix-up and I was not put out in any way, they did go above and beyond to correct the error and I appreciated the effort and I will definitely buy from them again. read more

In general, the staff that work at Pro Fence in Dennis are very rude on the phone and not much better in person. I really don't know why helping customers is such an inconvenience to them but their customer service is beyond terrible. If you walk in to their office they have signs on the walls saying something along the lines of "no complaining, and no snowflakes allowed". If you call them to ask for a free quote, they will try everything in their power not to help you and will probably start out by saying they can't get to you for the next several months. If you press them to continue, they will make up other excuses not to help you. If you get someone to agree to come to the house to take measurements, they will probably call and cancel or just no-show as I had 3 cancelations before someone actually came out. They really just make up excuse after excuse and don't follow-up on rescheduling appointments and its beyond frustrating. I will say the fencing itself is quite nice, but the manufacturing process has a lot of issues as I have placed a total of 3 orders with Pro Fence over the last 3 seasons and each order has been messed up in some way. The first order was manufactured wrong even though the paperwork was correct. The second order was missing 2 fence sections and came with a 1 post that was the wrong size. The third order was produced according to the paperwork, but the fence sections were off center by about an inch and I had to cut an inch off the top and middle rails so they would fit in the posts. I tried to put in a 4th order, but the team refused to help me and they were too busy to get to me anytime within the next 4 months. Any business owner that allows this type of poor customer service does not deserve your business. Please go anywhere but Pro Fence for your fencing needs. read more

I run a hotel here in Bass River, Cape Cod. We thought we would give pro fence a chance at an estimate for a job. We regularly have fencing projects and thought they deserved a shot. Forget that!!!! They really need to invest in somebody with some customer service skills. The guy on the phone was really unpleasant to work with, almost attacking in his manor of speech. And I was just calling to offer them some business. The call only lasted a few minutes but that was enough to know this is NOT a local business I would want to work with.
