We appreciate seeing the same staff indoors and out; this speaks volumes to me. One thing to note if you are visiting LV, this is a desert facility so it can be hot, cold, windy, or dusty. Update ; neither my friend or I were informed about a monthly price for unlimited visits . We were charged 40. for the day . We only spent approximately 1 hr there because we were not impressed at all by anything we saw . I believe the person that waited on us didn't tell us about everything that was available to us . A group of us were here on Thursday, June 5th. Most of our group had been here before, so we knew what to expect when signing in. Prices are fairly reasonable if you bring your own gun and ammo. Wanted to rent a Sig, but for $20 and only 15 rounds thought better of it. The clubhouse staff were polite and helpful. What we found very unappealing were the course rangers. They just sat around on their phones and when you approached them for questions or help they acted like they were doing you a favor by responding. The best part of this experience was the weather. Next time we'll go back to Gun Blast Vegas or the Range 702 where our money was appreciated. read more

I am a member of Pro Gun and absolutely love their shotgun course. I have gone out by myself and I have brought countless groups of friends, both large and small, and it's a great experience every time. I bring my own shotgun, but they have ones you can rent. The instructor was bit rough around the edges, but I get it, we were in a live range and he needed to be on top of things. My cousin enjoyed his time here, he definitely stated he would come back and try different gun options. However, this is where he and I differ. I for one would not come back. Why? It's all because of the customer service experience. There were two ladies working behind the counter and one was nice, the other needed some vacation and education on customer service. First off, credit is given where credit is due! Took my family to the range today. Brought out the Red Rider BB gun for my little ones and my Glock 21 for some IWB draw time. It was a blast! This range sits on 160 acres out in Boulder City. There is quite a few different ranges to choose from a cowboy style speed shooting to long range steel target plinking, heck if you're lucky like me you could get a whole bay to yourself. Had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Grace, Liz and Mark! They demonstrated outstanding customer service which not only met and exceeded my needs but also made me feel valued and respected! From the start Grace was friendly and courteous making me feel welcome and appreciated. Grace also pro actively went out of her way to ask if we needed any eyes and ear pro for my little ones and was so kind to lone us a few pairs complementary because it was Christmas! Upon returning the borrowed items after we finished up on the range Grace provided excellent follow up service thanking me for coming and wishing me a Merry Christmas. This place is an excellent outdoor range!! Regardless of whether you're a first timer or seasoned veteran, you will find Pro Gun Club very welcoming for everyone. I planned a bachelor party for my fiancé with a small group of our family and friends yesterday. From the very beginning of the planning stages, the staff have been extremely helpful. Since I've never been to this particular outdoor range, they were easily reachable through email with any questions I had. What's cool is that they have different ranges to accommodate several different guns. I decided on renting a private berm, which is about 70 yards, for $200.00 for the day. If you don't want a private berm, the ranges are first come, first served that are shared. The range fee is $15/person for NV residents and $20/person for out of state. They have a clubhouse that is clean and spacious. Inside, there's a lounge, full bar, and restrooms. They also have a retail store where you can rent guns and ear/eye protection. Targets and ammo are also available for purchase. They even provide tables upon request as well. When you first check in at the clubhouse, they have you sign a waiver and watch a safety video before you go to the range to shoot. ** Some tips to keep in mind ** - The berms are not covered so bring an easy up tent and chairs if you plan on staying for more than a few hours - Bring a cooler with lots of water and other drinks - You can bring food and snacks to the range - If you do plan on bringing food, bring table cloths to cover the tables - Be sure to have hand wipes since the closest restroom with sinks is in the clubhouse depending where your range is located - You can bring your own guns, ammo, targets, and ear and eye protection - If you plan to shoot from the table, bring your own firm table - Bring tape for the targets if you don't want to purchase from the store - Most importantly- respect the range, respect the gun, and respect yourself and others Safety is always their #1 priority so make sure you follow the rules at all times. The range officers came by from time to time to check on us. If you have a problem or have a question, just ask them. They're very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and personable. My fiancé had so much fun! Yesterday was his day and it made me happy to see him having a blast!! This is a great, relaxing range. Gf and I went there for the first time just before Xmas on a Sunday. It was very slow so we had an area all to ourselves. Such a widespread range with amazing scenery and background. The clubhouse and retail store are very nice. $10 (veterans) or $15 for locals is a great deal. This gun range about 1/2 hour outside of Las Vegas offers a number of different ranges and weapons to shoot. Pistols, rifles, semi & fully automatic weapons are available to shoot, as well as 50 cal rifles. You can also bring your own weapons to fire. They offer munitions for the weapons to purchase, and a guide sets up the clips at the range and guides you through your shoot. Incredibly patient and informative, the guide we had walked us through the weapon and its proper handling and firing. I really felt like I was being taught how to use the weapon properly. Firing an automatic weapon or a sniper rifle is a once or never in a lifetime thing for most people. Do yourself a favor and try it once here - it's invigorating! read more

I came to pro gun club to get comfortable loading and shooting a shot gun I purchased for home defense. I was informed that I needed to shoot my particular type of gun at an outdoor range. Fortunately for me, I get my nails done in Boulder City every two weeks so it was super convenient for me to use pro gun club. And I'm so glad I did. The whole complex is pretty cool. You can shoot all kinds of different things, and have whatever kind of experience you can imagine. You can even blow stuff up if that's your thing. There's a bar and a restaurant and a store. The best part for me was the gun range pro Gino. I went in with very little knowledge of my gun and guns in general, and really needed guidance. Gino not only walked me through everything I needed to know, but he really helped me with my specific situation, and taught me other self defense tactics that I could use. I never thought I'd be comfortable with a gun, but Gino really got me informed and knowledge is power. The next time someone tries to break into my house while I'm home, I won't be scared and I can properly defend myself. read more

My husband surprised me with a shooting session at Pro Gun Club. It was such a fun experience trying out our new handgun. Next time we would bring our own paper targets and stapler though. They kind of nickel and dime you at the clubhouse. (They do have good prices on ammo there though.) Everyone who worked there was super nice and friendly. The only complaint is that the safety officer that helped us out at the shooting lane talked a little too much before he'd let us shoot and ended up cutting into our time since they close at 5. We had the whole handgun area to ourselves. In fact it wasn't busy at all for a Saturday, but the employee at the desk mentioned it was usually packed on Saturdays and he thought Mother's Day had something to do with it. The clubhouse was very clean and they make you sign a waiver and watch a safety video before letting you shoot. They have metal targets for you to shoot and you can rent a stand for $2. Tape and paper targets will cost another $3 if you don't bring your own. Make sure your bring your own eye and ear protection because you have to have it and they'll charge you for that as well of course. Overall it was a nice place and we'd definitely go again! It's a little bit of a drive, but it's nice and secluded and a great place for a gun range. read more

LIVE FIRE I had never been on a firing range nor had ever shot a gun with real ammo. The recoil, sound and smell of gun powder was very much a new experience. Some of my classmates shot 9mm, .38mm Special and .40mm ammo with their revolvers and pistols. They were extremely loud compared to my .22mm LR Ruger handgun. I shot well enough to pass and Yu-go shot last without the aid of full sunlight and still scored the second highest. Not bad for someone with one seeing eye. Once I had achieved a passing score, Anna Clark of Empire Academy signs off on the "Nevada Sheriffs Chiefs Firearm Safety Course Certification of Completion and Firearms Proficiency Certificate". You'll need to present and surrender the original to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police when applying for your CCW. read more

On my third time, and super excited! It is really early, It was an easy trek to here, drove all the way to the Clubhouse to check in. It was packed! But service was almost fast. Lot of people behind the counter, but don't seemed to be there to check us in. A little confusing but it's ok. They might be as lost as we are with thus Covid-19. I got checked in and got my bracelet, and on my way I went... Camp C here I come! 15 of us there, families, it was fun! We had a meeting of the do's and donts. Safety training before you use the facilities is provided for all first time visitors, and the store also has many wonderful things to check out and rent if you are so inclined. I recently went to the pro gun club for a charity sporting clays shoot that was put on by the Southern Nevada homebuilders charity home aid of Nevada. The event took place at the pro-gun club and pro-gun club partnered with these groups to put on a very good event. The program started on time all of the sporting clay targets were set correctly and there were menus at every station indicating the pairs, the order of target presentation that was prepared by club staff. I didn't have a single target come out broken, the machines were working and everything ran smoothly so it's obvious that they have spent the right amount of money in buying good machines and then keeping them up-to-date. Pro GC obviously has the ability to vary their target presentation from the multiple shooting stations that they have on their sporting clays course which covers a large loop. What this does is it gives the club the opportunity to change the difficulty of a program depending upon the level of shooter, and this made the event enjoyable for a group of people who aren't necessarily there to set world records or compete in an NSCA event. The clubhouse was maintained well, they have clean restrooms a pro shop with ammo sales, the parking is good and there's lots of other things to do aside from sporting. They also have full auto rentals and different ranges where you can shoot targets full auto and even mount a machine gun to an APC and fire at an old junk car. Find another shooting range, because this is not it. Zero at gun & ammo quality. Zero at customer servicing. We purchased the 50's package. The Smith & Wesson .500 magnum revolver failed to fire after the first round, and the shooting ranger had to ask for an immediate replacement while we were shooting. Then the M2 automatic machine gun failed to fire after the first 3 rounds. The cartridge was rusty, but the ranger tried to unload and load belt again, then it stopped, and then a third time. I wish I could upload videos capturing the shooting ranger himself saying, "Oh, whats wrong with this," and "OH, what's going on," multiple times. The M2 is an automatic machine gun. AUTOMATIC. Yet, the Manager claimed that such interruption in the cycle of operation is "normal". Very defensive, she said that if we purchase additional ammo, they cannot guarantee a nonstop, rapid-fire experience using their M2 browning. ^ Read that last sentence again. That is not normal. At this point, we just wanted to make this a better experience for our sake, so we agreed to try our luck and purchase 20 extra rounds for the M2 for $100, just to have the Manager come back and say the ranger is 'not feeling well' & he is the only one available on range and they cannot do anything for us. The ranger probably got stressed just like us for having to deal with badly maintained guns and faulty ammo, and the Manager ... she was just so apathetic. Wouldn't wish this upon anyone. read more

Favorite outdoor range in southern Nevada by far. $20 bucks for locals and you can shoot all day. Come early to beat the heat and might even get a whole shooting area to yourself. You can bring your own a steel targets or use their paper stands. Def a great place to go if you want to shoot at distances you can't at a indoor range .
