Although the work done by Vantage foundation repair was done in 2016 we started noticing issues…read moreright away with more cracks on the walls and doors not closing properly. The bedroom section of our home slants downward with our wooden floors bulging in some areas and causing crackling noises like never before. We hired this company because of favorable reviews but now realize you can't always count on this. We felt our home should have been professionally leveled, it makes no sense whatsoever adding new concrete piers on a totally unleveled structure. Even the engineer hired to do the final inspection overlooked the fact that there were two concrete piers missing from the intended amount. So much for professionalism.

He took measurements of how level the floor was across the entire tiled area and determined that it was well within limits of what it should be. He also examined the visible part of the foundation outside the house and said there was no visible issues there either. He assured me that all seemed perfectly fine, but also had some suggestions as to further tests I could have done on the plumbing to determine if there was a possible leak that might be causing a slight shift in the slab. I thanked him and asked how much I owed him for the inspection. He said "no charge". How unexpected that was! Derk was completely professional and personable the whole time. I felt the proposal was focused on only what was needed, which made the proposal an affordable option for me when compared to others. The install was delayed a day by weather, so the crew worked on it the next day. They completed the installation of all piers (to include two breakouts in the driveway) and cleaned up all in one business day. They left the site cleaned up and the breakouts were filled with fresh concrete. Overall a professional job. I will keep Supreme Foundation in mind if I need more pier work done in the future.

They suggested we have it looked at. I spent some time looking at reviews of foundation companies, and settled on Bats. When I called, I was asked a few questions about my issue, and an appointment time was set with Calvin Burnett for about a week later. Calvin called ahead because he was running early the day of the appointment. He spent over an hour inspecting our home inside and out. He took precise measurements from a high point on our floor, and at points throughout our home. When he was done, he explained what he found, which was that the foundation measurements were within specification. He sent a report including a map of our home with the measurements later that same day. There was no charge for this, and Bats will keep the data in their records for comparison if the need arises in the future. Both the person I spoke with over the phone and Calvin were professional and helpful. There was no obligation or charge for the excellent service we received.
