We are not as close by as we used to be and I just had to take my car in for a major repair. I took it to another mechanic within walking distance of my house and after getting the estimate I took to Zych's for an estimate (thankfully I was able to make it over that way ok). I did not share the first quote or the fact that I had taken it somewhere else first. The estimate came back $1400 less (with OEM parts)! Based on the first estimate I asked if it needed some of the the other things that I was told needed to be done and Zych's confirmed it all looked ok and not required or would be taken care of as a result of the labor in the main issue. If you need a trustworthy and excellent mechanic shop, head over. I respect their work and honesty and glad there are places like Zych's in Orlando.

Since I use only Amzoil, Demytrius agreed to do the oil change if I brought the Amzoil in. I made an appointment and was out within 30 minutes. I may be young but I cannot even begin to explain just how many times I've been in a rut due to car trouble. My experiences at various places (both big corporate auto shops and mom and pop type shops) have always been nothing but awful. Seriously, a man at Pep Boys spoke to me like I was a 5 year old child and caused a scene in front if other customers when I simply asked to make an appointment for a tire change. That's only one of over 100 experiences I've had. So when Triple A told me I needed to get a shift cable replaced, I immediately went into panic knowing I'd have to brace myself for wherever I went. I'm born and raised in the central Florida area and moved to Apopka almost 3 years ago. There's multiple auto shops around but I'd never been to Sheeler before until now. I came in and was out within an HOUR. Sadly, as a young woman, I never feel comfortable going alone to auto repair shops (that's another story for a different day!). I've learned to expect the worst. But this was by far the greatest experience. Everyone was super friendly, communicative and respectful. On my way home I immediately called several friends (other single women who have unfortunately had negative experiences with auto shops) and recommended Sheeler.
