They did a great job and I drove away in less than an hour in a cold car. This establishment is pristine and efficient. Cost $200.00. (1 Star) - Absolutely Avoid This Place! I took my 2005 Ford Escape to ASAP Auto Repair on March 28th for a FREE AC check using a coupon from their website. I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 AM and arrived on time, only to be told it could take "a couple of hours." Since this is my only car, my wife and I walked to a nearby shopping center while they worked on it. They called me shortly after and said my AC had no freon, and in order to do the test, they had to add freon, which I would be charged for. I was fine with covering the cost of materials, but I assumed labor was included in the free check--as any reasonable customer would. When I arrived back at the shop, they hit me with a $201.91 bill for freon and labor. Then they told me there was a leak in one of the hoses and wanted an additional $646 to repair it. At this point, I was shocked. I came in for a free AC check and suddenly I was looking at an $800 AC repair bill! Since the AC was blowing cold after the recharge, I declined the extra repair because I simply didn't have $800 on the spot. The next morning, I hadn't even driven the car anywhere, but when I turned it on, the AC was blowing hot again--meaning the freon had already leaked out. So what exactly did I pay $201.91 for? Absolutely nothing. It was as if I had walked in, handed them $200, and walked out with the exact same problem. I went back and spoke to Tim, who was incredibly rude, dismissive, and sarcastic both in person and over the phone. I explained that I felt ripped off since I was being charged labor when I used a free AC check coupon, and that I had basically wasted $200. He refused to budge, argued with me, and made no effort to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, I ended up fixing the issue myself for $10 per can of refrigerant, and so far, it's holding just fine. This business is a scam, using "free" check-ups as bait to charge customers outrageous fees. Stay far away from ASAP Auto Repair! I will never go back, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to avoid them at all costs. read more

Honest and good. They make it right. They are a fine family and have treated me well every time I've gone there. They care and I trust them. I learned about them from a friend. Then one day another friend of mine came to help me go get my car. When she found out where we were going she said, "I've been going there for years!" Don't you just love them!!! Good reviews lured me here, so I'll help balance it out. I went in for a simple, under $100, non-vital part replacement. They replaced the part, however one of the technicians had to have been on some sort of substance, as they completely BROKE my entire steering column. (????) How????? Not even remotely near the affected part I came in for. They then sent me to another shop down the road. It was a $1300 to fix the damage that ASAP Auto did to my vehicle, and of course these asshats claimed no responsibility and offered no help. Save yourself a nightmare, go elsewhere. Saw the great reviews and gave it a shot. Kept up pricing us on a radiator hoses and fan clutch ending in 600$ total, dropped it off on a Tuesday...they said they texted it was ready on Friday (they didn't) to say it was ready and didn't pick up until Monday because no one called or contacted us. When we picked up, paid 3x what original quote was...it began leaking the next day. Took it back and they gave us TOTAL attitude, it was so disappointing...we never want something for nothing we just wanted it fixed. They said water pump blew and it was common, we've never had that issue and we asked if it was related to their work? The manager/owner RELUCTANTLY said he'd put a new one in at cost (49.99) ended up charging us 80$ and when we picked up, no one said one word to us! We own several vehicles and are just searching for a trustworthy and fair place to deal with. This was a horrible experience and we're really hoping this work is done well we travel for work and we feel we can trust them. There is a warranty and we will now have to document and worry whether or not this work is done safely. Unless you're rich and don't care, they probably won't treat you with respect. We're just working class people who'd hoped for an easy and pleasant experience, we did NOT get one. read more

I was having a check engine light as well as ticking coming from my Ram 1500 and looked through google for repair shops. I saw the positive reviews and was local to the shop so I chose ASAP. They were able to take my truck in the next day and beginning looking at it. They sent an estimate over detailing all the work needed and was an easy approval process. Even with me adding additional items they weren't expecting, they were still able to return my vehicle in a few days tick free!! Couldn't be happier with the service and the truck sounds great. Enjoyed it so much, I dropped off our other vehicle for repairs when I picked up my truck. Had my car towed to ASAP because of the good reviews. ASAP quoted me a very fair price on repairs, but unfortunately I didn't have the money to fix, so I decided I would scrap the car instead. I've been to shops before, and they'd get frustrated if you brought of affordability, but ASAP was super understanding and negotiated on an EVEN lower price. I still scraped and decided I would try to save for a new vehicle and ASAPs whole shop was very accommodating. Shop was clean and they had a nice waiting room with snacks and things for kids to play with. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Blast the CUSTOMER who left the review and try and discredit them and then leave the left handed compliment (sort of) at the end too. Classy! A couple points of interest though: 1. Your definition of 'Cheap' (giggle).You did see where I defined MSRP and Matrix pricing in my review right? Just sayin 2. The duct tape was put on by someone on the side of the road assisting me so I could to try and drive to your location about 4 hours before I got the car to you. 3. Repairs and sequence were done by your suggestions to stagger costs and go from most to least important. 4. The BMW was on its last legs and as you knew, we just wanted it to run another year or so. 5. Agonizing history? Now that's funny You all were my best buddies until I priced out the repairs the final time. 6. No, you didn't decline servicing my car. Unless you asking me to sign off on repairs before I checked myself is refusal? I said to leave it out front so I can tow it to someone who was affordable. You even tried to talk me out of it by saying they must be using used or knock off parts. (they didn't). How you call pricing that already had a reasonable and customary markup built in as 'cheap' is very interesting. FYI- the other mechanics (including the one I used) were all BMW certified and BMW exclusive and very reputable. They just couldn't understand why you would include additional markups? They also pointed out some concerns with your previous 'repairs' by the way but I'll be quiet on that. We all agree that car was a POS but let me ask you this based on your last paragraph: If someone didn't want to provide you a service (as you say you did with me) would you prefer they just grossly inflate the price of the service and hope you don't accept or hey, if you do or just trust them and don't know any better, well they'll be happy to take your money OR would you rather they just say, ' sorry buddy, that dog won't hunt. We can't help ya.'? (Asking for a friend) But hey, it's all good, and I don't have the nightmare BMW anymore. I wish you nothing but the best too. Needed a trustworthy mechanic for my 1998 CRV after moving to the area. I came in first for just an oil change and check-up after road tripping here. They took the time to thoroughly check out the car and physically show me areas of concern that should be on my radar. They did not pressure me to do anything right away or up sell me. They answered my questions in terms I could understand and did not make me feel ignorant. Then they provided quotes with tax included so I could plan for the future repairs. Lovely, nice people. I heard about ASAP through several people in town - I work in Altamonte Springs and was located close to my work. I have taken all my cars here to be serviced. My 99 Ford Explorer was completely overhauled and put back together brand new. With 220K miles on the clock it still has plenty more to go - strong engine & timing chains. I also have a Hyundai Sonata that needed a clutch and new brakes looked at it was adjusted good as new. Toyota 4Runner turning over in driveway, and jumping it wasn't working. I suspected a bad battery but wasn't sure. We talked over the phone and decided I would try a new battery first before having it towed for a new starter or anything else not working. That was the problem. My phone call with Terry saved me untold cost with a tow, etc. I'm pretty certain you can go there with confidence. I know they use "the book" for estimates/cost on their work. So if the book is high, you'll be high, if the book is low, you'll be low. Perhaps a discussion is in order if you think the book is high. Their mechanic may/may not agree. Some mechanics will agree that what the industry estimates for time on a job is a lot more than they can do it for if they don't run into any snags. But snags are possible....once you dig into something; so some leeway and understanding by the customer is always needed on an estimate. I had a snag in personally replacing my battery. It took lots of time to get one of the terminals off. It was frozen on and prying would have ripped the battery apart. 20 minutes with baking soda did the trick but it did take some extra time. Time is what you pay for with a mechanic. Some shops might have just charged me for a new cable/battery terminal deciding it wasn't worth the effort to work on the old one..that is possible even if not something as silly as a stuck battery terminal. Otherwise try doing it yourself....usually a BIG time sink. I know this was long, but perhaps worth pointing out. read more

After almost 10 years of business with ASAP unfortunately we will not be be going back. We have spent thousands of dollars here! The past 3 times we have brought our cars in they did not fix them properly and cost us more money in the end. They did not even apologize or show any concern for what they broke and did not offer to fix it. They also drove my car over 80 miles and could not explain why they did.
