The associate who first came to assess our roof and give us a quote was super informative and respectful. There was no "hard sell" and he patiently answered all of our questions even though we were in the middle of other renovations and told him we wouldn't be making any decisions that day. The whole process was easy and exactly what you'd expect from a good roofing company. They showed up exactly when they said they would, did a wonderful job and cleaned up before they left. Four years later our gutters started to leak. Mind you, this company sub-contracts out the gutter installation, so it technically wasn't their mistake. Upon initial inquiry, Specialist Roofing & Repair was pretty quick to reply, so I scheduled a consultation. One odd thing is, when I scheduled, they asked if the would be seeing both my husband and I or just me; I find this a strange question as what if I wasn't married? It is awfully assumptive to think I had to have a husband, but I digress. Noah was scheduled to perform the inspection. He was running a bit late and called about 5 minutes after our scheduled time letting me know he ran into some traffic and would be about another 5 minutes or so. He showed up 20 minutes later and it was the oddest thing, he parked in my driveway. When he came up to the door he asked if it was okay and I said okay, but honestly, I found it really strange and just didn't want to prolong the appointment. Upon inspection, he seemed very knowledgeable and personable and did a pretty thorough inspection taking pictures and videos of the roof and surrounding areas. As mentioned, I am the type to obtain multiple quotes, so I expected that after he did the inspection, we would go over his findings and a few days later I would receive a quote. After he did the inspection, he showed me a video of something the other roofers didn't, which was nice as I like a thorough job, but then said he would be in touch with a quote. I received a phone call a few days later asking to discuss findings, but when I called back, I got an AI bot which was then followed up by a call back from a real person. Oddly enough, when they called, they literally said nothing. They asked if it was a good time to talk and I said yes but they wanted to talk when "my husband was around." Even though I said it was a good time, they said they would call back. I followed up via Yelp message. It has been over a week and I have yet to receive any quote from them. Needless to say, I won't be going with this company. They aren't willing to work with just a woman and are unresponsive.

I bought my SunPower system through Green Convergence and they had the engineering and staff who installed our system. Excellent work and an amazing sales representative in Deanne Dawson. This was ten years ago. We purchased our system we did did not lease it. Unfortunately SunPower was bought out by SunStrong a few years ago and since then things have gone downhill. Today was the final event and my family is leaving what I thought was a good service business. If you have had to deal with their service representative, Daniel (Dan), you may know that since you don't lease your system he is unwilling to send you help unless you agree to a service fee. Even though his crew installed a faulty monitoring unit he is unwilling to help you. I'm in the market for a new service provider and I want to drop this SunStrong faulty unit ASAP. I'm open to suggestions.
