I went there 2 times. Wanda wanted cash only. The second time I forgot to bring cash and offered a check or credit card. She led me to believe I could pay on the next appointment. She called 2 days later and wanted the money that day. I have never had anyone speak to me in that tone of voice. I offered to send a check and she would not accept that. It is quite a distance for me to the shop. My nails peeled and the pedicure did not hold up well. Went in to ask about getting my grandpas toes cut and the lady inside so she wouldn't do it because he's dirty and he needed a pedicure he's 97 and most places wear gloves . Wanda is such a sweet, caring person that it's hard for me to write this review. I went to her for about 8 months and during that time, she cut me almost every single time. I've had acrylic nails and pedicures for over 20 years and have rarely ever been cut. But with Wanda, every single time I'd see her, I'd get cut either on a finger or on a toe. She always had excuses, "Your nails are too short" or "Your toes are hard to do", etc. With my last nail girl that I was with for more than 12 years, I was cut once. Once. Not every single time. It got to the point where I was dreading going to see Wanda because I knew I'd be walking out of there bleeding. I asked her if maybe she needed a new prescription for her glasses but she swore they were new. She clearly has a problem seeing people's nails. I have seen other people be cut too so I know it wasn't my "short nails" or "hard to do toenails". (By the way I have never had a problem with anyone else ever saying that or cutting me because of that.). I went to a new nail salon and they couldn't believe how thick she had done my nails. They weren't done cleanly. The gel was clumped on (hard to describe) and thick. Her salon needs to be upgraded as well. In addition, my nails were lifting at the bottom of them. When I washed my hair after only a week of getting my nails done, my hair would slide under my nails making it hard to do normal activities like that. It was common for me to wait between 15-40 minutes for almost every appointment. I didn't mind that too much but if time is important to you, you will end up getting very frustrated with how late she always runs. I'm sorry that it's time to move on to another nail person as I do think Wanda is a very sweet and caring person. It's just her work is not what it should be and I don't enjoy getting cut every time I go there. read more

I've been coming to this salon for about 2 years and absolutely love the service! The owner is very nice along with doing great work! I've come here, and almost every time have came with my 2 best friends who are African American and she has always treated us with the upright most respect. Worst gel manicure ever! If you can even call it a manicure. First of all the lady who is the owner was 30 minutes late on our appointment. When she finally gets to me she starts to push back my cuticles. She didn't soak them, file them or clip them. After she pushes back my cuticles all dry she starts to apply primer all sloppy. I asked her aren't you going to clean up my cuticles? She replys "oh with gel nail you don't need to." It was horrible! Nothing was cleaned up from the previous customer. She used the same clipper and file. I even got the same napkin! The only reason I didn't run out was because my sister bought me a gift certificate for Mother's day that had an expiration date.
