I don't even want to leave it 1 star. I don't ever do reviews but this time i will. The man in there is horrible HORRIBLE at pedicures. Pretended to cut my cuticles. Didn't shape. Applied sugar while still having cuticle gel on toes. buffed with orange sponge while STILL having cuticle gel on. Scrubbed the bottom of my feet with what i kid you not what looked like a cheese grater. Drained the water..he asked "white nail polish" i said yes. and i told him he had not cut my cuticles?? I came here on New Year's Day because they were the only ones open, and the reviews were decent. My friend and I both got shellac manicures, and they were beautiful. Since I don't get my nails done frequently, I didn't realize that washing dishes could damage them and make them peel. Only two days after the manicure, about half of my nails were peeling at the edges. I wasn't sure if it was my fault or because of a bad application, but I went back after a couple of days to see what they could do. Let me tell you, they really took care of me! They gave me a completely new set at no charge, and the results were stunning! Great service. I was a walkin and was seen to immediately. The woman who did my nails (didn't catch her name) was wonderful and took her time to make sure everything was done perfectly. Was very happy with the results, but then a few days later, both of my thumbs started chipping. Every other nail was fine, but the thumbs were chipped quite badly (1/2 the dip came off one thumb). I came in today (one week afterwards) and showed them my chipped thumbs, and they immediately fixed both nails without question. This is my second or third time to come to this nail salon and I've had ok experiences before today. Normally I'm not super picky about my mani/pedis but this is one of the worst I've had. My nails are at least twice as thick as what they should be, even after asking for them to be filed thinner. So much excess was left underneath my nails with some even being attached to my skin. The top coat has bubbles and dust attached to it and is rough to the touch. Parts of my cuticle bled on two of my fingers because they were so rough with them. The pedicure was VERY GOOD and relaxing while I was in the chair, but she rushed me so much at the end that I left with wet nails (unknowingly) that we're messed up before I even got home. This was my first time going to this salon, so i called about a hour ahead of time to see if i could walk in or if i needed appointment. On the phone i was told that in a hour they would be available. When i got there I was told it would be 20 minutes which i was okay with waiting considering there was only 3 workers and they were all busy. I ended up waiting about 40 mins and then they finally took care of me. The reason I am giving this place a 4 star is because the quality of work was very good. Compared to other nail shops this one, had plenty variety of colors in all types(dip, power, shellac, and regular polish!) I showed the nail tech a picture from pinterest and he did he best to match it and it turned out really good! A suggestion for the shop i would have is to have more employees available. Do not choose this as your nail salon. Avoid at all costs!!! My mom and I had appointments at 11 AM (first appt of the day) on Sunday. They were a few minutes late in opening, which was the first red flag and pretty unprofessional. They wrapped my mom's already gel nails to remove which usually takes about 10 minutes while they started mine. By the time I was finished with my manicure, they hadn't even started the process of scraping hers off!!! She sat there for almost an hour waiting on them while they tended to people who not only didn't have appointments, but also people who had later appointments. We were obviously pretty angry considering we made appointments for a reason and people who came later were tended to first while we were neglected. My mom took the foils off her fingers and said she wasn't having this anymore and they kept saying, "No, no, we'll get someone to do it for you." Well.... who? You have three technicians, and 6 people there (at least 4 had appointments including us). We were there first with appointments. My mom kept telling them no and they kept saying yes, so I had to step in and tell them that we were not happy with our services and the fact that my mom had to wait an hour for anyone to pay attention to her. It's really disappointing and frustrating. My nails didn't even turn out that well (picture posted), when gelish is a pretty basic thing to do. My nail tech was old and had trouble seeing, would grab my hand harshly, and anytime we were obviously annoyed, they'd talk to each other in another language OBVIOUSLY about us. I asked for three coats due to the fact that the polish was not as dark after two coats. Anyone could've seen that I needed another coat and she just gave me attitude. She blamed it on my nails being short... but they weren't this short before she filed them all away!!!Not a way to grow a business. I'll make sure that all of my friends are aware of this nasty experience so that way they will not come here. There is NO POINT in making appointments. Very disrespectful staff. We shouldn't have even had to pay full price on my nails considering they came out so messy. I will never be going here again.
