Stopped here while on vacation. The place is clean and the employees are friendly for the most part. I got a SNS (dip powder) manicure and one of the owners did mine. You could tell either she wasn't very familiar with how to do it properly or the brand (OPI) they are using isn't the best because She was very impressed with her work afterwards and was praising herself, two days after I had it done my nails started chipping and there are cracks on every nail when I have never had that happen at my usual place and they last me at least two weeks before any chipping. If you need something quick and fast they're fine but not the best. read more

While on a family vacation in North Myrtle Beach, we decided to take a day trip to explore Wilmington. We went to go and get our nails done at a salon, and are so thankful that we wound up at Pro Nails & Spa! My mom and I received great pedicures, while my sister and her friend from college received great manicures! The staff is family-oriented and very friendly, always engaging in good conversations and ensuring that the quality of their service is top-notch. Mom and I loved Wanda and Lai during our pedicures, as they were very professional! My entire family was extremely pleased with everything, especially my sister with the design she requested for her nails (Wanda is amazing!). We will definitely be coming back and we highly recommend visiting this shop if in the Wilmington area! read more

I really wanted a pedicure while I was in town for the holidays! The spa my mother-in-law recommended no longer does nails. She had mentioned this place across the street. I wish I had checked reviews before I went in!! It's a husband and wife team with no other employees. Their young daughter is in the salon while they work. I should have asked how long I would have to wait before my pedicure. They each were working on a client when the little girl got my chair set up. I sat with my feet in the water for quite some time (at least 15 or 20 minutes)! By the time the water was cool and I was tired of waiting, I was getting out of the chair and told them I would have to leave. However, the woman was finishing up with her client so she came over to work on me. Although the pedicure felt good, her work was sloppy and she rubbed the skin raw on my toe while scrubbing my feet. I also don't think the salon is very sanitary! The husband cleaned out the bowls of the pedicure chairs. Although he carried a container with bleach cleaner, I never saw him use it. He just use the same sponge & water from one chair to the next! Other people came in looking for services while I was there, and I thought "good luck in getting in in a timely manner!" If you are in the area, I definitely would look for place to get your nails done! I will not be back! read more

The prices were fair, the space was clean. However, my toenails look like I painted them and didn't go to the cuticle. Two of the employees argued during my last 15 minutes there about appointment times that it was a bit uncomfortable so I got up and left. read more

We're from out of town and happened to pull up in front of this shop, and we're so happy we did! My husband and I both got deluxe pedicures and it was the perfect relaxing start to our vacation! Will never return to this place again! I had gone twice before for pedicures and loved the guy that did it first, a girl did it the second time and my polish chipped off quickly. Went back and got a mani/pedi with gel polish and the polish began chipping within 3 or 4 days when it is suppose to last at least 2 weeks! That's why it cost $20 more. Now a week later an every one is peeling off and looks horrible. But the worst part is that she asked me to pay in cash and not with my card, when I told her I didn't have enough she wanted me to pay what cash I did have and the last bit on a card then went as far as to ask my friend to go to the atm since her bank had one in the parking lot. Sounds like some kind of tax fraud to me! read more

I had a gel manicure done at Pro Nails and it is peeling after 3 days! I just recently moved to the area and had one done 3 weeks ago and it also peeled. I told the manicurist and she changed the brand of polish to a better one and now it peeled after 3 days. I have had gel manicures for years and normally they last 3 weeks. Will be looking for a new place but what I found really irritating is that when I called to cancel my next appointment I let the owner the reason and he did not offer to have it done over or offer a solution. They just lost what would have been a regular customer! read more

I decided to give this salon a try. . The man that worked on my feet was clearly in a hurry. He never flipped my toe nails or used any tools to work on them. He simply messaged my feet and then painted my toes. He got nail polish all over my skin and never fixed it. The whole thing was a joke. Four hours later, one whole toenail is missing paint. The man never worked on my cuticles, instead, he painted over them which means that the other painted toenails will come off as whole sheets of paint. Thanks for nothing Pro Nails! I could have done a better job on my own! I will never go back to this place! read more

The worst my nails have ever looked LEAVING a nail salon. I asked for a French tipped gel fill and left with my nails being over 70% white and looking like a 12 yr, old did them when the owner of the salon actually did them... What a waste of $35. Don't waste your time or money read more
