I have been in search of an interior painting company to paint the interior of our new home before we move in, and was searching online and came across Pro Paint NW. I read their raving reviews and was very impressed with their portfolio and everything customers had to say about the company. I reached out to Pro Paint NW through their link on their webpage for a free quote. I received an email the next day from Brent about being available the following week. I responded back to the email with time and date for the job estimate and let him know that my realtor would be meeting us there and if he could get back to me with a response if that time would work for him. Two days passed with no response. I didn't think much of it because it was the weekend, so I waited to hear back on Monday and still did not hear back. I then pulled up a contact number online and called. Brent answer and I asked if he received my email and if he would be available. He mentioned he was meaning to get back to me but never did. He asked if 12:30pm would work and I said yes I would just have to let my realtor know and he said no it's okay I can make it there by noon. On the day of the estimate he was late I called 10mins after 12pm and Brent answered and apologized he was running late and would be there soon. 12:30pm rolls around and he arrives. From someone that works in retail the professional thing to do would be to give your client a curtesy call and let them know they are running late. Not only did I have to reach out to him to confirm date and time via email and call I had to also call him on the day of the estimate to see where he was. After a walk-through of the house and rooms I needed painted upon leaving he double checked with me that the email and contact info he had was correct and stated the estimate would be sent to me with in 1 to 2 days it is day 5 and I have not heard anything. I even emailed him on day 3 to see what the progress was on the estimate and still have not received a response. I also checked my junk mail. I am so furious and put off by unprofessionalism of this company. He knew the time frame I was looking for, for the job to be completed and gave stated he would have an estimate completed in 1 to 2 days. If the time frame was unrealistic to him he should have said something and I would have continued to look elsewhere. I rarely write negative reviews, but I shouldn't have to be chancing any company for their business. I can understand if there was something going on, or if they are busy but they should reach out to their customers and let them know that they are working on it. Just had a bad experience from the get go. Having to set up the appointment on my own by emailing and calling, had to call to see why he was running late, now no response of estimate, as well as emailing again to see if there was any progress on the estimate and still no response. What an incredible find. I wasn't sure about Pro Paint NW when my husband recommended them (he found them on the web). We live in Ohio and I still had a home in Vancouver, WA. I needed to find a company who could paint the exterior as well as the interior of my home after finally deciding to sell it after the last renters did a number on it (even though I had hired a property management company to help manage it). After reading the reviews on Pro Paint NW, I felt some relief. Needless to say, I can't thank them enough. They were absolutely outstanding in every aspect: communication, professionalism, and the quality of their work. Brent was the one we worked with. He went above and beyond what his company does. We not only needed someone to paint our home, but we needed someone to landscape, do repairs, remove debris, clean, etc. Although his company doesn't do contracting work, Brent had empathy for our situation, so he ended being our contractor. He did such an incredible job that the house looked amazing! And I'm sure my neighbors appreciated it too. Brent consistently kept us posted and he was always immediately available to answer any questions or concerns we had. He was on top of each of the projects and sent us photos to ensure we were satisfied with the work. The comments you read here are well deserved. Propaint painted our exterior home July 2015 and we are extremely satisfied with their service and quality. The crew were polite and pleasantly answered questions and offered information whenever I was on site. In the end, the paintwork was magnificent, and the final walk around revealed no areas of concern, in fact the crew pointed out one spot that I didn't see, that they wanted to touch up a bit more, and it was quickly done. He also had the crew pressure wash all of our concrete and left the whole property in much better condition than when they arrived. When they were finished, everything was cleaned up nicely. I was impressed at the ease of dealing with Brent and setting up the project, and he responded promptly to all of my communications. The work was started and completed on time, and the price was reasonable in comparison with other bids I had sought. In the end, I followed my gut feeling and I chose ProPaint because of the ease I felt during the initial consultation, that if any concerns arose they would be promptly and fairly dealt with. I wondered about the high number of satisfactory comments I saw for this company online... but I have no doubt now that each and every remark was honestly deserved! Brent truly seems to care about his reputation and that of his company, and has backed up every promise he made regarding customer service and quality. We had our two story family home painted by Brent and Pro Paint Northwest. I would enthusiastically and without any reservation whatsoever recommend them. They are quality and customer service oriented and unfailingly polite and helpful. Brent provided excellent and very helpful counsel and advice throughout the project. The bid was affordable and reasonable, with no hidden costs. The crew took their time with each phase, throughly washing, prepping, and painting the house with two plus coats of high quality paint. They cleaned up throughly at the end of each day, and when the job was complete. We did a complete after-inspection together to insure that the job was done to our satisfaction. It was evident from the moment the crew arrived that they were there to do it right, not fast, and the attention to the small details and quality shows. Brent provides his cell phone number and will respond promptly days, nights or weekends, and stands behind his company's work. My house was in serious need of a new paint job and how fortunate for me I found Pro Paint Northwest when I googled the web for painters. Brent was extremely prompt in responding to my phone call and I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable when he came to the house. I had two other people who were to come and give me bids on the job and I called both of them and cancelled after meeting with Brent. I wanted the house yellow and Brent explained to me the difficulties of getting the shade I wanted, but working with him and the people at Sherwood Williams, who I might add were very helpful and accommodating, I was able to get the color I wanted. Once the project was started, Jason and John were A-mazing!!!!! They were prompt and also very professional, when they were finished the house looked wonderful and you would not even know they had been here. We couldn't be happier with the service we got from Pro Paint Northwest. From the start, we could tell that Brent took great pride in his service. Pro Paint Northwest was one of three companies that we received quotes from to paint the exterior of our house. They weren't the highest or the lowest quote, but they were definitely the most professional and helpful. Brent pointed out and asked us about a few things that we hadn't thought about. Mainly whether or not we wanted to paint the foundation and the brick. The painters that came were very professional and communicative. They did an excellent job and finished the whole project in a few days. This includes pressure washing, priming, and painting the entire exterior of our house. Brent stopped by many times to check their work and check each stage of the project. I am very impressed with the end result. They obviously are very focused on detail and don't cut any corners. Brendt and his crew were simply awesome to work with in every way. Brendt provided a clear vision for the work that included the difficult removal of wall decorative decals, an accurate sequence of activities, and the impact to our daily living during the process. There were no surprises and I was able to work from home with no inconvenience. We do most painting and repairs ourselves, but getting rid of children's room décor, painting light over dark (forest green) paint in a vaulted ceiling, and refinishing cabinets were projects that would have taken use weeks to complete and likely with less than satisfactory results. Pro Paint Northwest took care of all of it in 3 days and the cabinet work was far beyond the quality we thought possible considering their original condition. Finally, the fixed price was very reasonable going into the project and the results made this a bargain by the end of the project. My wife and I own a rental.property in Vancouver (we occupy each summer) that had the exterior last painted/stained 5 years ago. I had Scott stop by the same day I called. He was very professional and took the time to explain how he would be able to address some of my concerns - such as my distaste for subcontractors (they do it themselves), repairing cracks in the wood (they use caulk and wood putty) and my desire for two separate coats to be applied. Last time I went with a franchise painting company and was disappointed so was a little wiser this time (that company only did one coat and tried to pretend it was two). I'm happy to say that Scott & Co. did everything as promised and were very careful around our plants. The team was friendly and very efficient. They worked long hours and we're a pleasure to have around. When they finished Scott walked around the house with me to go over everything in detail. The house has never looked better. Went to their website based on the reviews here and requested a quote. It took Scott a week to come out to my house and give me a quote. He gave me a verbal quote and said he could the job in about a week. He showed up an hour late to do the job, had lost the paint sample I gave him that matched the color of the house, was trying to do things we didn't talk about, left the job for 3 hours and then came back after I had called him and told him we couldn't hang around all day waiting for them. Then he asked my wife for cash, when she refused he asked that the check be made out to him directly. Never gave a receipt or any other type of paperwork. 2 weeks after he finished the job I'm getting calls from a phone number not associated with the business claiming they lost our check and want a new one. Unfreaking real. Will NOT be using these guys ever again. read more

I tell my husband almost everyday how good it feels to pull up to our house now. We just finished having the exterior of our house painted along with the deck and master bedroom. We can't say enough about how professional Brent and his crew was (Anthony, Darren, Jim and Kelly!) They worked so hard and they did such a beautiful job! Brent came out to do the estimate quickly and though he wasn't the cheapest he also wasn't the most expensive. At the initial walk through, Brent informed me that he was booked for the next 1.5 month and a realistic start time would be early Sept. Brent assured me that once his crew started the job, they would complete the work in a week. Stan Lunde painted the exterior of my house in July. I was more than pleased with the job he did, and for a fair and reasonable price. He and his two workers finished the job in two days and cleaned up nicely after they were finished. Stan came back a third day to do some touchups that I felt needed attention. My job required a lot of masking prep work and it was done very well. I had contacted three other contractors but I chose Stan, not the lowest bid, because I liked some of the suggestions he made and for the fact that he was referred to me by his painter son (who was two-months to a year out) who said "he taught me everything I know about painting." WE live in a house that is over 100 years old. I needed some painting done. I contacted Pro Paint NW. Scott came out that very evening, gave us a quote. Started the next morning. He and Jo are artist with a paint brush. They painted the walls and the trim in the living room, fixed a ceiling in my bedroom and repainted it. The rooms are beautiful. Pro Paint NW was a fantastic group to work with for painting my entire house. Brent was quick to respond and explain the process and answer any questions that I had. Jason and Eber were great! They showed up when they said they would and were hard working. Very nice and professional. There was a problem with some boards that had rotted on my deck and they had a carpenter come out and fix it. They were so easy to work with that I decided to have them paint my deck as well.
