Been a long time customer and ever since Tony sold the company they have gone downhill. I had them install a water heater less than two years ago and recently noticed deep corrosion around the connectors they installed. Called them out and they come out in two days on time but the plumber told me he wanted $190 an hour to do anything. I told him they should honor their work and a least determine the problem and I would pay to fix but he kept repeating $190 hour before I touch the unit. ProPlumbing was sent due to a leak that home warranty covered. Plumber came out Could not find the location of leak under kitchen sink. stated he did find cold hooked up to dishwash and hot hooked up to refrigerator so he switched those, bought new connectors although after stated he could have used the old ones they were perfectly fine. I removed the wood from under the sink...and there was the leak...everything was very wet, I crawled under home I am 65...could see water dripping down to the foundation.The leak still existed, plumber obviously did not investigate very well. Proplumbing sent him back out, mentioned this should be on same work order he said it depended on if leak was in same place. I mentioned he did NOT find the leak when he was at home two days prior. He said, oh yes I did , I changed the connections. I asked him to leave my home since he was lying to my face. After he left I turned off the feed to the refrigerator water, within two days the area under sink dried out. So now i need to fix this myself. I paid ProPlumbing $100 to come and and figure out where the leak was... the warranty company paid for him to change the connections yet the leak still exists... the water is still turned off to the refrigerator. :( read more

I had them come and install a hose bib. The gentleman that came was a great worker. He was easy to talk to. He cleaned up after himself. The phone estimate was in the range quoted on the phone. I was referred to Pro Plumbing from a friend. They arrived when they said they would, they did what they were asked to do. The work was neat and at the price range quoted. I called Pro Plumbing twice to do work at my home in Carson City, NV., in May 2018 and was completely satisfied both times. I worried that they would find my jobs too small to bother with, but, just like it says in their Yellow Pages ad, they "do it all". Cory did both repairs and did an excellent job. He arrived on time each day, and was polite, friendly, and professional. He explained what the problems were, described different ways they might be fixed, and did exactly what I wanted quickly, efficiently, and within the estimated price. He cleaned up any mess made by the work, (something most repairmen don't do). We senior citizens worry that a repairman coming to the home might act badly, but I felt 100% comfortable with Cory. We planned to do , and did, a bathroom remodel. We called Tony (owner) to come over to review the plans we had. He agreed to do the job. After about 10 days the work began with the construction crew (contractor) but no Tony. A worker of his showed up two short times to do work that could only have been done with the aid of our contractor, as Tony never showed up. A month after the project has been completed we finally received an invoice from Tony. He billed us for time he never worked. He has never, throughout the project or after, come to our house to check on the work done or to see the finished result. Tony is an unfair business person and in my opinion unprofessional. We have a Manufactured Home, & were referred to Tony at Pro Plumbing, who is licensed to work on these homes! He is great & was very helpful & patient with me! He sent out Curtis, a sweetheart of a guy, to fix a leaky shower valve. He & his helper, Cory, were wonderful, minimally invasive, & they saved us a lot of money & trouble in how they did the fix! They did a beautiful job, & we praise them almost daily! Curtis also fixed a couple of small issues in our other bathroom, before leaving, saving us a lot of money there too! I am very dissapointed with Pro Plumbing. We called them to check our water heater. The plumber who answered the service call said we likely had a faulty thermo-coupler. He said he'd have to order one from Whirlpool and it could take 10 days to arrive. Given that the water heater was 14 years old, and I did not want to wait 10 days to have hot water, I thought we should go ahead buy a new one. When I asked the plumber where would he recommend getting a new one, either at Lowe's or Home Depot, he said neither because they sell crummy water heaters. He said he would only recommend a Bradford & White water heater and only a licensed plumber could buy one. He said it would cost about $1800 installed plus another 3% if I used my credit card. Feeling pressured, I asked him to get one for us. He said he would have to check with the office if he could get it that afternoon, or if it would have to wait until the following day. He left and I immediately went on line to check the reviews as I had not heard of this water heater before. The reviews were horrible. I wonder now if he receives a commission from Bradford & White. I called the plumber back after about 10 minutes and could only reach a recording in the office. I called back two more times. I received a call back about a half hour later from Tony and I told him we did not want to buy that type of water heater due to bad ratings. He seemed surprised at the poor ratings. I told him we would go to Home Depot and buy a Rheem. He said if that's our choice then fine, if we wanted him to install it the next day to call him back, otherwise he would mail us an invoice for the original service call. The next morning we called Pro Plumbing to see about the install and reached the answering machine again. We did not receive a call back in a timely manner (waiting three hours) so we called another plumber to install. Yesterday I received an invoice in the mail from Pro Plumbing for $180! $90 for the original service call, and another $90 for a bogus pick up fee for a water heater they NEVER PICKED UP! I will pay this under duress, but I feel they are a deceitful company and will be sure to mention this shady business practice to everyone I know. SHAME ON YOU TONY AT PRO PLUMBING! read more

I paid too much to have a water heater flex tank and some copper flex connections replaced. The bill was $281.20, I paid it but I won't call them again. Lowe's sells flex tanks for $35, you do the math! read more

Do not hire this company. We paid them for a job that they didn't complete. They were hired to replace a kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal. When they removed the kitchen sink to replace it, they didn't budget the time or bring the tools to cut the Formica top to fit the sink. So, all they did was put the original sink back in place without re-caulking it and then charged us over $200.00. They made no attempt to make right on finishing the job. To top it off, they chipped the paint on the backsplash, so they left us in worse condition then before starting the job. Sad part about it was the plumber looked at the job before we hired them. We are on a well and I wasn't thrilled with effects of the water. Called Tony at Pro Plumbing. Within a day,no more than two he was out to our house to see what would work for us. Very honest man. Kept in great contact with us. Within 2-3 weeks ( weather was a factor) we had our water Softener installed today. Very happy with the outcome. Our installer was Curtis.
