In the end, I wound up asking those family members what they were thinking with these guys. The price was right, but it turned out to be one of those you get what you pay for situations - they run an 89.95/month system that covers all cuts as well as fall/spring cleanup. The biggest problem is they are beyond inconsistent with their service - I requested they handle us either thursday friday or saturday and was assured that would be the case. Nope, most cuts when they actually happened were on Tuesdays, leaving a long mess of a yard come the weekend and having company over. That's when they actually showed up - there were multiple instances of going 2 weeks or more with no cuts! The biggest offense of all was Memorial Day weekend, no show at all despite numerous messages left on their machine that were not responded to. Because we were having company over, I wound up having to get a mower & do it myself Sunday morning. And wouldn't you know? On the holiday itself, at 2 in the afternoon there they were and had the nerve to go over the lawn I'd just cut as if it was even needed. No explanations, no apologies. In fact, the only time I heard from them was when I got fed up and stopped sending payment - then magically I get phone calls telling me they'll have to stop service if I don't get up to date with them. So of course I laid out all my reasons for stopping payment and made it clear that I wouldn't be renewing for next season. This was met with apologies, reassurances and promises that things would be different if I stayed with them. So I gave in and paid what I owed, magically a truck shows up to collect the check within an hour and finally cut the grass. But wouldn't you know it, as soon as the check clears we go back to the same nonsense routine. As if all this wasn't enough, they have the gall to send a letter at the end of the season indicating that they're raising the rate to $129 a month! No thank you! I've heard from some in the area that this was once a great company to deal with, but that they wound up partnering up with someone else and everything went down the tubes. That may be, but they've lost this customer permanently.

We were concerned that they had insurance and Andy provided us with an insurance certificate naming us as an additional insured. The crew arrived at 8:30 am and set to work. By 2 the tree was down. They then did an incredible job grinding the stump and sculpting the terrain to level so after the grass grew back in there would be no sign that a tree had been there. The crew worked efficiently and safely. All in all, a job well done, We would use them again. PS, Andy is a hoot!

We said if you bring a couple of guys, you can bang this out quickly. Owner insisted we send him $155.00 through Zell first. We did not feel comfortable with that but he is fully insured, so we did. He came by himself and removed some brush and blows some leaves around in piles. He then wants to drive a tractor back and forth over our beautiful front lawn they looks mint. We told him to please come back with more help and carry leaves out by the trash cans they have not a tractor. So many days went by and no calls. We text him and he says he's done enough and we told him to leave. He then says it will cost us $1,000.00 to do an area thats not really a full yard size as according to his add. Not that big of an area. We told him we were very disappointed and he says why? Because he sa8d we told him to just leave. So basically he stole money from us by stealing through an incomplete job. We now have to do the job ourselves. Guess he raised the price after her saw how nice the neighborhood was. He never called or wishes to come by and see the job beforehand. Crappy business.
