I asked for a slit (button hole) in the back of a dog jacket to attach my dog's harness through... I repeatedly asked for them to make sure it was centred. I went to pick up the jacket, and the hole was not centred. The other article of clothing I brought in was a button up shirt... I wanted the longer back hem to match the shorter front hem. There is a slit in the back I wanted filled in with the material that was cut off the back. It wasn't done, and the material was thrown away. Very disappointed. I won't ask them to alter any more garments. I had to pay when I dropped the garments off, so I am left with no recourse.

This tailor replaced a jacket zipper for me, and did a great job. Seams were straight, it closed…read morewell, I was pleased. So I brought my boat curtains to be sewn-- just four curtains to be cut from the cloth and then hemmed. It was critical to have them cut to the right measurements, which I provided. Unfortunately, they were all off be 1/4" to 3/4", and the hems were angled, not straight. This should have been an easy job for a tailor, but the result was sloppy, unprofessional. Too bad, I won't use her again. :(

Tailor to Go did excellent work…read more(approved by my wife and her impeccable taste), did them at a far lower cost than offered at any other place in Nanaimo and always have the work done in a week. She has done hems, pocket replacements and general alterations, all the work has been excellent.
