Fantastic repair. As good as or better than new. I had banged my RV on a guard rail on a tight road. They replaced and repaired as needed to get it fixed. Included replacing the automatic stairs. I would give more than 5 stars if possible. The RV is not that old, a 2013 Mercedes/winnebago class C but some of the parts were hard for them to locate. One of the parts even had to come from the UK even though the RV is made in the US. read more

Boy was I taken today. Trust in humanity? It's such a long story but here goes I had my RV towed into this place for a wheel bearing issue. Was waiting for parts and a bill of $1500. Not the issue ... while waiting for parts wind blew a tree onto the RV. They sent me an estimate for $6677. We were lucky enough to spend the 3weeks with friends while it was being fixed. We went in today to talk about the roof repair. Bonny, the person so nicely helped us with the wheel repair was worst ever. Wouldn't address us at the desk. We had a time set at 11-11:30 and it was 11:20 so I adddessed her. She was so angry I as just taken aback. I had talked with the owners wife the day before. She said she had just had an accident and couldn't talk. I simply asked if I could talk with her insurance- like she had supposedly done with the other driver. She gave a number which I never found a person to help me. Our camper was taken outside their lot - to encourage me to just take it and leave. I simply wanted to talk about a fair resolution to the costs issue. They had parked it under some tree or limbs which were dead. If they had left it where we dropped it off there would not have been an issue at all. Everyone in the shop left for lunch from 12-1. Coincidence? I'm wondering now if whole thing - timing, accident, distracting anger, telling me to leave, pretending to call police... was all an act so they wouldn't have a claim and pay larger premiums. As well as finding a compromise with me. ??? So now I did take our unit to have it fixed by someone I know who will do a good job. I wasn't sure I could leave our RV with shop in question. So I will be out for getting a new roof when there was no need when I left with this shop. I paid the rest of the original $1500 bill and left. So just do you know something about this business. Called for an oil change and was told it would be approx. $189 over the phone. So I booked the appt. Screen I initialed when I checked in showed around $202 which was OK since it was close. But then when I checked out they charged me $312. When I talked with them about this, the most they were willing to do was bring in down to $301. Most expensive oil change I've ever had. In their paperwork, they suggested I have an annual refrigerator service for $567! Very interesting as the fridge is only 6 months old old and perfectly fine. Won't be going here again. read more

I had several issues with my 2016 Mercedes Airstream Class B Van, including window shade motors failing, macerator pump leaking, etc. Pro Tech RV took care of it all with no issues. Customer communication was great, very professional staff. I then asked Justin about adding solar to the van, and we talked about options. I wanted to max out the solar on the limited roof space the van provided. Justin recommended a total of 400 ah lithium-ion batteries with 580 solar watts by adding 2 hard-side solar panels to the roof. To get the two 200ah lithium-ion batteries to fit under the carriage area, Pro Tech RV built custom brackets to secure and protect the batteries. During the early summer of 2021, with our new Micro Minny pull camper, a deer decided to commit suicide by launching between our new Tahoe and the camper, causing serious damage to the front, side, storage door, fiberglass, storage area and a few inside panels. Fortunately, we were able to drive home and got a bid in a few weeks from PR RV. Justin and the team were simply amazing-although it took quite a while to secure parts due to the supply chain issues, our unit looks brand new again! Their work on the fiberglass was really impressive, and they took the side metal band in the front which had a huge deer bump, looks new again. The communication from PT RV was consistent and caring the whole time, we were fortunate to have ours fixed after the season. 8/23/24 about 9:30 am I entered your business. It was about a charge to my credit card for a $62,26 processing fee. I had dealt with Service Rep - Bonnie in the repair of my jacks of RV and asked to speak with the owner/manager. She said, "How can I help you?" I expressed concerns as to why I paid the extra processing fee for the warranty side of the bill. She became very irritated and glanced up at your whiteboard with prices. When she finally understood my issue she told me the Warranty company paid with a credit card and I must pay the processing fee for that transaction. I was surprised and stated that I would check. Bonnie then became unprofessional, tossing my paperwork back at me and saying "Are you questioning my integrity?" I said "Yes" and then she stated, "We have the right to refuse service". I felt like a school-aged student turning in my paperwork and the teacher tossing it back. In my 50+ years on Earth, I've never experienced this type of unprofessionalism/disrespect. I turned around as I was leaving and said "Y'all are scammers!" I contacted America's RV Warranty and they confirmed that ProTech RV requested a credit card for payment, however, the other option was a check. At no point did ProTech RV discuss with me that there would be a processing fee for this transaction. I've never experienced this with any insurance/warranty claim. The least expensive should be with the customer in mind and take the check. I have the right to inquire and now will submit a BBB complaint along with multiple social media review sites. I provided them until Tuesday 8/27 noon to contact me before I proceed with online complaints and reviews. No contact from Business so BBB compliant files and Google Review complete. Do not use this business for any reason i.e. parts, service or even advice. They upsell everything parts and labor to include processing fees. read more

Got a small job done unrelated to insurance. Work was fine, but I feel was way overpriced IMO. This outfit had the opportunity to get a lot more business out of me, but missed it, and missed any future opportunities as well. Their communication was absolutely bare minimum to none after I dropped off my RV, even after my proactive phone calls and leaving several voicemails. I never got to meet with the tech doing my work, before or after the job was done. For such a small job that took 2.5 hours, they kept my travel trailer for a week. When I had not heard anything from them in terms of when the work would actually be done on day 6 of that week I contacted them via voicemail and email to let them know I no longer wished for them to complete the work as I no longer trusted them. SO very conveniently for them, they got back to me the next day informing me that the work was done. Over email, Bonnie responded claiming she had called and left me a voicemail during the week. I checked all my voicemail records, including my deleted messages, her claim was an outright lie, I am sure to save face with her employer. For full-timers, future or current, or those of you who greatly care about working with folks with high integrity and transparency, I would absolutely not choose Pro Tech RV. They are looking to get as much money out of you as possible, for as little customer service and care as possible. While dropping off an RV - I heard two employees talking saying something along the lines of: "Remember to upsell as much as possible to them." We've taken our pop-up camper here twice now, and both experiences were stellar. I had a completely new electric brake system installed and it works great. Work completed much sooner than estimated. Professional, they always have the rig ready when they say it will be. My second trip involved a split wall seam and you can't tell it ever happened, plus they reinforced the other three corners. I recently bought a class b rv van from a woman who hired this company to paint and waterproof her high top van roof. They charged $2800 to raptor line her roof (which in itself is robbery). They also charged her to waterproof it around the AC. This was done in June of 2019 and they told her it was "water tight". I bought the van a year later and it leaks like a sieve. Especially around the AC unit that they "fixed". It's not difficult to seal an AC. When I took the ac out the seal was very old and cracked. Not something only a year and half old. I contacted Pro Tech a couple of weeks before arriving in Colorado Springs about replacing the motor in our awning. I spoke with Brennan and scheduled a mobile service. I requested to give them a cc so they could order the motor so it would be available on the date of the service call. Brennan facilitated this request and Don, the service tech arrived on time with the motor in hand. He tested the awning, verified the motor was malfunctioning and quickly went to work replacing the motor with the new one. He also checked our roof air with a heat gun and determined the air was working as designed. We have an extended warranty and Pro Tech worked with them to facilitate the claim. Pro Tech immediately refunded the correct amount to my cc. I would not hesitate to recommend Pro Tech for any RV service needed while in the area. read more

I purchased a new faucet for our RV shower from ProTech that they ordered for me. When I went to install the faucet, the connectors on the back-where the hot and cold lines attach, were too long. The area on the back side of the shower is pretty tight-in fact, my husband had to cut an access in our closet to get to the lines to replace everything. I took the faucet back to ProTech along with the old faucet. They offered to order another brand to see if the connecters were shorter. Having to wait longer to replace it and then not knowing if the connectors would be shorter, Josh offered to try cutting off the excess and finishing the end so that it fit correctly. It works! As normal, COVID delayed my appointment with getting a new tow plate installed on my Jeep. Brennan was very awesome in getting the parts I need to get the job done! When I arrived they started right away to install the parts which takes 17 hours. I went to pick up my vehicle and it was finished. Except, the tow plate fittings were wrong for my towbar and it took two more days to get them right! Not living here, I had to stay in parking lots as all RV parks are full! My vacation was delayed! I had told them up front what I had for a towbar and that was forgotten by the staff causing much problems. I was also not shown how the new equipment (braking system) works or even a check of my motor home to see if it is ready for towing. No follow thru!! read more

I Took my travel trailer to get a new awning. During installation they managed to put a hole in the side of my travel trailer. They of course denied it and said that it must of happened with a tree or something....because "My guys would never do that without telling me". BS..First of all , I don't have any trees around my house. Then when the man in charge asked one of the workers, (who supposedly takes pictures of all the RV's that come in for repair), to pull up the pictures of our trailer, she said, the pictures must have accidently been erased. So of course they kept skirting around the subject and never fessed up to it. But I know that it wasn't there before and it's pretty sad that they have to be so dishonest. I have a 40 foot toy hauler and my fueling station was broken. I was in Kansas knowing that I was going to pass through Colorado Springs in five or six days. The young lady in the front office was very knowledgeable and helpful. After a few phone calls back-and-forth and her doing some significant legwork to find the part she was able to have it at her shop the day before I arrived. I took my rig in at 8 AM and they had it done by 10. I would highly recommend them. After the monster hail storm in the Springs (summer 2018) - our Infinity was just a mess...holes in the roof, broken sky light, busted vent covers, spouts and lights, and the list goes on. Pro Tech Colorado Springs did a pre-sale check up of a used camper van for me while I was in Houston. Then they did the recommended repair work and had it ready to go in a week. On the inaugural road trip, the van worked great except for a transmission leak (they had done some service on the trani). When I called (from Arizona) about the leak, Josh told me to get it serviced and if it was the seal, he'd cover the cost of the repair. I took it in and sure enough, it was the seal that was leaking. I sent the invoice over to Pro Tech and Brennan had a check in the mail to me the next day. Now the van and I are back in Houston and I am super-pleased with the purchase. Found ourselves in Estes Park with a significant hydraulic fluid leak, likely from a set of levellers manufactured and installed back in Michigan. Pro-Tech made time in an apparently full schedule, looked at and diagnosed the problem, had the necessary part fabricated and installed and we were back on the road within a couple of hours. All done with remarkable friendliness and at an incredibly reasonable price. The kind of operation that makes needing an emergency repair if not exactly a pleasure, certainly a lot easier and less painful than it might otherwise be.
