I paid for dip nails and she put a THIN layer of clear dipping powder on my nails and then put gel on top of it. She charged extra for cutting my cuticles and there was zero lotion on my hands or arms. When I asked her about the dip powder and gel polish she attempted to tell me that the dip would stay on my nails and then next time I could get the cheaper gel option. She tried to convince me that she was saving me money! Within 2 hours of leaving there the gel started to peel up on the edge! Save yourself from a half assed manicure! The pedicure massage was basically her rubbing lotion on my feet and barely touched my legs and she spent the whole 5 minutes talking to the other techs and not even paying attention. $80 later and I could have had my child do a better job. read more

I was hoping on getting good service based on location. I came in asked for pedicure, I had acrylic on 2 toes and asked to remove, she proceeded to tell me no she'd just shape. I asked for a color and she said she didn't like that color and handed me the colors to choose from back. To my understanding when it comes to service, what a customer asks for is what they get since I'm paying. Please take into account that as clients when we ask for something we expect to get what we ask for. I ended up paying for whatever she did in the time being, but will not be coming back. Lily did an amazing job today with an acrylics fill with gel/matte finish. Lily was very detailed oriented as she cleaned my cuticles before the fill as well as after the polish. I appreciated that Lily took her time and the shop was very clean. Tina changed my toe polish color and did a great job. The absolute WORST communication and organization. I went in yesterday and scheduled an appointment for 12:00pm. The lady confirmed the appointment for a full set. I explained I would be coming in on my lunch, she said ok. I came in at 12 she said she scheduled it "for tomorrow " and was already working on someone. I came in today at 10am to confirm the appt. at 12pm and to show her what I'm looking to do, she said I removed the appointment, I said why? She said because you left...I said I left because you told me my appointment was for today at 12pm? Why would I stay for an appointment I don't have? I've raced about this business before, but today I experienced the extreme professionalism. One of my biggest fears is going somewhere and them not being sanitary (tip: never shave your legs before a pedicure because it leaves microscopic cuts and if they aren't sanitary you can easily catch something). With that said, the woman doing my manicure dropped her cuticle clippers on the floor. She immediately picked them up, sprayed what looked like rubbing alcohol on them, then placed them in her "need to sanitize" basket. Awesome salon! It's been a while since I've had a legit manicure without issues. Leanne was really great. She started off by not using the power tool to take off gel polish! My nails are natural and usually salons want to start with the tool opposed to a simple hand file to remove the top coat of polish. She asked questions about me, my preference on nail shape and overall nice person. She checked to make sure I liked the color before continuing to paint all my nails also. The hand massage was brief but comfortable. Prices are standard and service is excellent. I was a walk in customer and they treated me very well. I'm fairly new to the area and was looking for a new salon. I made an appointment but still had to wait about 20 mins before anyone helped. I picked a color but the woman kept pointing at other colors that I had no interest in and kept trying to upsell. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time.. The space is small and crowded. I have had acrylics for years, and have never had any issues. Two days after going to this place, I had two nails break! Needless to say I won't be going back. read more

I would give this business zero stars. My daughter went in requesting a gel manicure, and nothing more. She was told she had to get acrylics. Because she would not speak up for herself, they put acrylics on that she hated. She had an event the next day and didn't even want to attend the event because the nails looked so bad. This is a business that took advantage of a young girl, and did not do what she requested so that they could make more money off of her. I find it shameful and embarrassing that a business would run itself this way. If a customer asks for something, that is what they should get. Not some thing they did not want that would cost them more money. This is the second part to the review I posted yesterday. I didn't know until my daughter came home that when she got in the salon, she was asked what school she went to. When she told them USC, they then started to tell her she was rich, and her parents must be rich. It was right after this, that they told her she had to get acrylics. I am a single parent, and definitely not rich. And even if I was, it is not OK to do that to someone, especially a young girl. When I called to complain after she left, the person who answered the phone seemed as though they didn't understand what I was complaining about, and could barely speak English. When my daughter came home, she said everyone in the place seemed to speak perfect English when she was there. I find all of this despicable and reprehensible. I was very happy with my gel manicure I got here! Previously I had the dipping powder from another salon, which helped my nails grow really long. However, I have realized I am not a long nails girl, nor do I like the fake-nail feel which the powder dip leaves since it is so thick! My gel manicure is perfect for me and SO nicely done. There was some confusion at first over what I wanted, but then a very nice girl came over and essentially took control of the situation and made me feel much more comfortable and did a great job.
