Hi, actually, called this nail salon because I was looking for the nail salon that my cousin and her daughter took me to. But this place ended up being close to my event tonight and the lady was so nice to me on the phone that I drove here. When I got here today, it was packed! That's a good sign! But they accommodated me. And conveniently, a spot opened up, and I was able to do a Mani and Pedi! I had Tammy and Diana. Super nice ladies and great conversation, but I ended up having an awesome conversation with another customer next to me. They did an amazing job removing my chipped up gel nail polish and filed down my fingernails and cut my toenails and gave me a brand new look! Love the color! Thank you ladies! Ruined my toe nails, they look so ugly now and the polish does not look clean. Nail polish is all over my cuticles. I went in hoping to get a cute French tip pedi, I asked for the #1 which is $40, the lady said it'll be $15 extra dollars for it. I agreed and said yes, she started off and cut my nails a weird round shape. I didn't like it at all and was hoping that the french tip would at least look cute. Instead she makes the worst French tip ever and did not use a base coat just clear nail polish. I asked her to just do white, because I could not hand even looking at the french tip. I didn't think anyone can mess up basic white nails, but she somehow managed to. The nail polish did not look smooth at all and it looks a mess, I didn't cause a scene because I was so tired and she wasn't worth it. Instead I decided I wouldn't tip her. I get to checking out and she proceeded to say it was going to be $55 (she still included the $15 when I told her I didn't want the french tip anymore!), at that point I'm pissed off. I pay it with card and she whispered "you're going to tip me cash right because you're paying with card?" WTF!!? Do not go here! Worst salon ever and they hire employees who ask for tips when they do not deserve it at all! read more

We were in town for a tournament and wanted pedicures during some down time. This nail place was 5 min from the fields. So we called to see if they could get us in for 2 pedicures. They got us right in and we are so happy. There were a lot of salons to choose from in the area. So happy we landed here. The massage was amazing. We got the second level pedicure which included a 10 min massage. I love the orange scrub they used. They did a great job on the polish. I would definitely come back next time we are here. Super nice and friendly. We came at about 2:30 on a Saturday... only one other customer. But the time we were finished about 3:30, the salon was packed with people waiting and all pedicure chairs filled. But a very nice atmosphere. read more

Came in as walk in and got seated very shortly, I see a lot of workers working fast cause they're busy but still very good. For some reason the person I got to do my nails seemed to be very inexperienced, incredibly slow, (my fill took nearly 2 hours) and produced and embarrassing nail job. For gel polish they look disgusting. They are bumpy, uneven and streaky. The nail tech next to us was criticizing his work and even checked my nails before I paid, was not impressed. I came here to get last minute birthday nails and ended up angry cause now I have to deal with them for week before I can get them fixed. I've been here before and had nice work here, but I will not be coming back if there's a chance I have that nail tech again. read more

I was a walk in for acrylic fill and pedicure. She sat me at a nail station. I said can they do them at the same time and pointed to a pedicure chair. She said yes someone will be right over to do your toes. I had my nails completely done and then she said 15 minutes someone can do your toes. I said that's ok. Maybe next time. When I went to pay for my fill she said $50. Without the tip !!! Seriously?! $50 for a simple fill with one color polish! No designs or anything special ?! Ridiculous. The quality of work wasn't great. I have a bubble from the clear on my index finger that will drive me nuts for a couple weeks. My usual place is $38 which I thought was high for a fill. I came here 9/14 got my nails and they charged me $70 for it. The next day I called them letting them know the nail polish that supposed to be gel was coming off. So, they agreed i can come in at 5pm. I was sitting there for 30mins the lady told me to leave and come back the next day because no one will do my nails. AFTER GETTING CHARGED $70 and waiting for 30mins for nothing. They didn't even say anything when I walked-in. I went in for a color change. I had just had a manicure a few days before at a different salon, but the polish chipped off. I wanted to go from regular polish to gel. I expected to pay a little more, but I was charged $25! Their entire gel manicure is $30. She didn't have to do anything other than change the polish and use gel. No cutting, cuticle removal, etc. I felt ripped off. I will never go back and never recommend them. read more

This is the worest CS nail salon that ive ever been for the second time. First time over 15 years ago and thought things maybe have changed but I was wrong. The ownet/manager that seats upfront had over charged me for a basic manicure/pedicure by $4...she had 2 separate reasons. I asked my nail tech for me to pay prior to putting the clear on..she said that would be $39??? I said ur price list says $35..she told me that the manager told her for boys is higher then girls??? Talk about being predujust...and nothing was on the price stating that...my tech told the manager I wasn't happy being over charged..Manager walked over and tried to explain another story..her comment was, since I didn't get any extra its $39 but if I did would be $35...again, nothing shows on the price list pl plus Ive never heard of such for pasy 30years I'm getting my nails done. I have lived in the area for over six years now and KC Nails was the closest location until Happy Nails opened nearby. I was never impressed with the out dated decor and it nothing felt sterile (it should). Aside from the typical gossip (not in English, wonder if they were talking about my wide feet?), The objective of this business is really not about your experience. It's about their bottom line! Service lacks in quality, they hurry you through your treatment and the happily positioned Host who checks you in (looks like Budha) makes the place feel cheap. Oh yes, you get what you pay for so dont expect much. So I will refer to my two worst experiences. First was when I decided to get an eyelash tint. Now that I think about it, I doubt the Technician was even experienced with tinting. Typically an Esthetician would tint your eyelashs and/ or brows. Let's just say I am lucky to have my eyeballs! They burned and the tears I was shedding were not of joy. My second and last visit was for a mani/ pedi. I left feeling like raw sashimi that just went through Benihana's! My cuticles and surrounding area around the nail bed was rapidly removed leaving me raw for days! Done! This place needs to close. Don't waste your time and spend a little extra money and go elsewhere. I really don't know what I was thinking. The State Board should really check on this place. I went in here for a pedicure this week around 11. I was surprised they were pretty busy for it being a weekday. Luckily, I didn't have to wait. The lady who did my nails wasn't too pushy with the up-selling. She did an okay job. Not the best pedi I have ever had, but definitely not the worst. She spent too much time rubbing my legs and not enough time on my feet, that kind of sucked. I also didn't like that when she wanted to work on my feet she would move my chair all the way up so my knees were practically in my face. It was uncomfortable. I tried to move it back a couple times but she would move it up again. I'm not sure how that made her job easier? I probably will try other places before I come back here again, but in a pinch, the pedi was $29 with callus remover and scrub. Tad pricey, but got the job done. read more

Rude service & my nails are in so much pain from filing down too much. I went in to get my gel dip removed and a normal manicure. Since they don't do SNS they do not know how to remove properly. The lady was not happy I had gel dip to remove. I could tell she was getting frustrated (?) and said, "I don't like this." She kept making faces while taking off my gel dip which made me very uncomfortable. On top of that she was not gentle removing and kept scratching my cuticles with the nail file. I should have Yelped and reviewed this place because my experience is like many others- poor filing, hurting nails, unprofessional about tips. I decided that I didn't want the manicure halfway through the ordeal because I was so uncomfortable and in pain. Never had poor service like this . If they don't know how to remove gel dip they should be up front with customer. My advice is to not come here and go somewhere you will be taken care of and treated kindly. When I went to pay I asked to put tip on my card. I understand many nail places don't prefer this but I never had anyone give me a hard time. The lady gave me a rude look when I said sorry I don't have cash. I even showed her I only had my cards on me because she looked at me like she didn't believe me. My daughter has gone into this place a few times and has paid via her Venmo account every time. Today she went in and because she didn't have a certain nail technician they wouldn't accept her Venmo and told her if she couldn't pay that she needed to leave. And not in a nice way, they were completely rude to her. When I called in to discuss this with the manager, I was told there was no manager in today. The lady I was speaking to just continued to talk over me and said I needed to drive down there to pay or give her my account information over the phone. Then she tried to put my daughter on the phone with me saying "tell your mom, tell your mom" No, I called in to speak to the manager, had I wanted to speak with my daughter....I would have called her phone. I then got passed to another person. Frustrating!! So, I told her that they should not accept Venmo as a form of payment if all technicians could not accept Venmo as a form of payment. This sets their clients up to be embarrassed and when you are 17 years old and have limited sources of payment, it's stressful....especially when they were incredibly rude to her. On top of that her appointment took over 2 hours! Bad experience all around, she will not be returning to KC Nails again. Poor customer service. read more

I have been a customer there for many years, I go there because it's close to home and I don't have a lot of time, however, the women there only speak Vietnamese to each other and you can tell they are talking about the customers. Today I went and I asked the lady that put the plastic on one of my feet to tie it up as she usually does and she said "no it's OK I'm lazy I don't want to do it". She has always had attitude, but today was unbelievable. As she colored my toenails, I saw that the polish was dry and as she applied it, it was uneven on my toenails. I told her and she said it was the lighting even though I had use that color many times, and then she angrily took all the color off my toenails and aggressively reapplied, when she was done, She pushed her stool out-of-the-way and stormed into the bathroom without saying goodbye, or thank you. needless to say I will never be going there again. Stopped by with my mom yesterday! It's been a very long time since I've been here. Tiffany did my manicure and another lady did my pedicure, both gel polish. Let's just say I haven't had a mani/pedi in AWHILE so the ladies really delt with a mess lol. For $55 (gel is a $25 extra on top of the $30 standard mani/pedi), my hands and feet were massaged and soaked in warm water to prep, they also scrubbed the bottoms of my feet with a pumice stone (there is also a callus removal service you can add on--I didn't add it to mine), took off a LOT of cuticle and dead skin, overall just took really good care of me! Both Tiffany and the other lady really took their time and were very meticulous. I definifely will start to come back at least once a month now! read more

That is until I told one of the ladies that she was cutting my nails wrong (I needed stiletto super pointy nails, not round) she ignored and kept cutting away. Finally I pulled my hand away and she got so upset she walked away and started talking shit on me in Vietnamese. Super rude and unprofessional. No one was in charge since there is NO MANAGER ON SUNDAYS. NO ONE HELPED ME. I left the place with half cut nails and the old nail polish gloss peeling off. I called Chau to take care of me with compensation of free mani & pedi (a reasonable request after the humiliating and unprofessional treatment) and she didn't take care of me. I've been coming here for years every time I'm in town and it's one of the best nail salons with consistent quality. They do a great job of eyebrow waxing and I come out happy with their shaping every time (which is untrue of other salons I've been to). I usually get the full set with white tips or pink and white and they do the job quickly around 45 minutes or so with solid quality. Happy every time I come here and I always get nail compliments afterwards! read more

It makes me sad to give this one star review. My boyfriend and I have been regulars at KC Nails for more than 5 years. We see the same technicians, always by appointment, and tip 50% for our pedicures. We made appointments for 9:30 this morning and arrived on time to find that only one chair was ready and the other wouldn't be available for 30 minutes. There were two chairs available at 9:30, but one was being held for another client's friend who wasn't there yet. This wasn't going to work as we had a wedding in the afternoon and spending more than an hour for what is usually a 30 minute appointment would make us late. That's why we made appointments for 9:30 and expected to be seen as scheduled. Kim and Vienna have always done great work for us, but after years of loyalty, having our time disrespected and taken for granted is unacceptable. The salon is okay and the ladies are nice, but there is nothing special enough about it to keep our business after this. read more
