Unfortunately, as I was looking in to several companies I found that many of the name brand companies like Orkin, Terminix, etc. really left a lot to be desired. Why you may ask well good question.... So for some of us that have opted to have spray foam insulation installed in our homes at some point, as it is some of the best insulation out there, it seems these companies (especially Orkin) have absolutely no interest in helping us out or even discussing any options with me. They flat out just said thanks but no thanks... Enter "The Termite Guys" and boy am I very glad I called this outfit. Let's just say they really know how to provide excellent customer service. Spoke to both Matthew and Eddie and both were knowledgeable and worked with me to treat my house for both dry wood termites and subterranean termites as well. After some discussion we coordinated getting the house treated at the same time I replaced my roof so I could treat all the new wood being installed. I can tell you that there are not many companies that are willing to do something like that but the Termite Guys are willing to work with you and do whatever it takes to get you taken care of. After treating my home, I opted for a maintenance plan where they come back periodically to inspect and retreat if necessary. One thing is for sure, here in South Florida all our homes are subject to getting termites at one point or another. When you do do you want to work with a national company that cares little to nothing about you and your home or do you want to work with a local company that cares and will work with you to put a plan together and get you taken care of. From my perspective, this company was a real pleasure to work with and I highly recommend you give them a call if you are looking to treat your home for termites. I have repeatedly clarified and specified the desired service. Simple. BUT, the responding tech really did not want to do the perimeter spraying that had been arranged. His heart was not in it and it was apparent, several times. I tried resolving this with the dispatcher (co-owner), but the problem continued. As I had discussed, for what he wanted to just do... I can do myself with stuff from home depot. I wanted the added professional application... which became like pulling teeth. This is a management problem. I will now have to update my homeowners association of my unfortunate need to find a different pest control company.

The appointment was confirmed and I received text updates 48 hours prior to my appointment. The morning of the appointment I received a message with an eta for Gustavo. He arrived, and was kind enough to slip on shoe coverings before entering the home. The process was quick, and he explained to me where he sprayed and what treatments he did. This had been one of the easiest companies for home service that I have dealt with. From customer support, to the actual appointment and service tech. Pricing was very reasonable and it was one of the factors when making my decision on which company to choose. I needed preventative care, and it was exactly what I got. Highly recommend, and Gustavo is wonderful, he even played with my dog for a min.

They came the next day and upsold my wife on a package to prevent termites as well (our house was termite proofed already and we have had no issues). In truth they could see how she was scared of mice and took advantage of her. They charged $2500 and placed 4 "victor" mouse traps in total. They spent 20 minutes on the property and did not do any sealing of the house. Of the traps they placed two were in the same one kitchen drawer. Another trap they placed under the bed in the guest room and did not tell anyone besides my housekeeper who barely speaks English - we opened that door and my dog entered the room and the trap snapped on him! There is literally a bowl of dog food and a dog bed in that room how negligent can these "professionals" be. Of course I called to discuss these issues but for days we were transferred manager to manager. In the end they refuse to issue a refund but I am still going to go with another company for the job. In the end I paid $2500 for 6 dollars worth of mouse traps and a ton of aggravation.
