When I took in, my trans fluid was gone. Still won't work in drive because one or more of the clutches is burnt. This has been the case sense the beginning. I had checked the fluid a few times in between. Mike will NOT Refund my money, I disputed it. But I think it's time all those with a same story think about a lawyer. Once they open my transmission there may be more they can't see. Mike talks to me like I'm stupid, I drive old Ford, I have done a lot of work on it myself. I thought I could trust this company, but I guess they don't know what they're doing. DON'T RISK IT *I had my transmission rebuilt by Mike. I drove for a bit and it doesn't go anywhere in Drive. I have to put it in manual 1st gear to to then put it in drive as I go. The transmission will jump my truck when shifting gears while I'm driving. I called Mike three times, once before I drove out of state. He has not called me back and every time I call he's out or busy. He picked up calls more so before I picked up the truck. So disappointed. I don't have much, this truck is all I have not cool charging me $3000 for a job not completed. I really need my money back.

So had I had them drop it and then chose not to go forward I would still he out 1900$. I feel they have you by the short hairs whether you chose to have them fix it or not. I was shocked n did talk to other companies and they do not charge the 1900$ just to drop it I did choose another company that was thousands cheaper. My family and I were headed home to Cincinnati (from Hodgenville) on Sunday when the low pressure…read morelight came on. Upon inspection, it was clear our right back tire was going flat. I tried adding air and fix-a-flat without success. I stopped by a couple of name-brand tire places but neither could or would help me. One said it'd be later that evening; the other said he was booked solid until the 26th (several days later). We decided to head back to Hodgenville and happened to pass by Kartar Service Shop. I turned around and stopped back by and asked them if they could fix a flat. They immediately checked the problem and quickly determined the damage to the tire was in the sidewall of the tire which meant it couldn't be fixed. They checked their pile of old tired and found the size I needed and for $40 bucks, switched it out and got us back on the road. That was all I needed to get us back to Cincinnati. I had the tire replaced with a new on on Monday but Kartar got us home on Sunday! If you need any type of automotive help, check with Kartar before you go anywhere else. They'll take good care of you!

Please read before you take any vehicle to this…read more"mechanic" shop. if after u read this and still take your vehicle just know its a horrible choice. took my Range Rover Sport to get a coolant leak fixed, after I agreed to the 3hr repair and the parts that were in stock I received my suv back 5 days later and a loud ticking noise!!! told them when i started it that the noise wasn't there when i dropped it off, they said they didn't do anything because they didnt drive it, how do u repair a vehicle and NOT drive it? ooops Sam (the owner) admitted later yes they did but its not their fault but worked in the engine bay and decided to add oil to a coolant repair and also told me he couldnt tell the level of oil in the vehicle, why add oil then? maybe to smooth out the ticking noise they created, then kept my car 2 more days and wanted me to spend more money on a noise that happened on their clock! Sam said "honesty and integrity" is how he runs his business but its truly dishonesty and deceit. Sam and Alyssa the secretary says its common to drop off a car and other noises happen RED FLAG. In my 20yrs of any repairs thats NEVER happened, if they respond to this or ignore this HONEST REVIEW, just know they took no accountability. this is hands down the worst mechanic shop I have ever dealt with. He drained my oil and told me the noise could be from being a HALF QUART LOW. stop, they worked on my vehicle and clearly caused damage. they know they ruined the engine and returned my vehicle with 0 miles of gas as well, Sam said they added oil and repaired my tire free of charge but wouldnt add gas and charge me accordingly?? why send a customer home with no gas and I dropped it off 38 miles to empty.
