PRO Boxing Supplies has been my go-to spot for training supplies over the past few months since I started down the martial arts road. So far I have worked with Joe and two of the girls who work there, and they have been very helpful, friendly, and patient with me on each visit! I was hard-headed when I first came in, and despite one of the girl's recommendations for me based on what type of training I had told her I was working into atm, I went ahead with getting a less-padded pair of gloves (MMA gel-knuckled). Well, they were certainly an upgrade from what I had, and quality, but not the best for the intended application... so, I returned a couple of weeks later and decided to move into a stylish pair of 16oz'ers (as per prior recommendation), and I haven't looked back since - I love them. They kick my ass, but they've taken my bag sessions to the next level and are excellent for training purposes. Their prices are competitive (I'm not going to turn this into a further pun), even versus Amazon, and the quality of their brand of items has been holding up well to some heavy use. I visited this shop for the first time this summer and yes it looks appealing from the outside but when you walk in you are not greeted, you are automatically judge be cause is a boxing gear store and if you are a FEMALE they assume you don't know a thing about the sport. I recently started training Muay Thai and been doing it for long enough to where I decided I wanted to invest in a nice pair of gloves for training. I train at MTA in North Hollywood and always saw this brand with all the equipment so decided to check the store out. After trying on a few pairs of gloves I wasn't completely satisfied with the lower price range gloves and the one I wanted was out of my price range so I was gonna leave with just some hand wraps. The owner saw that I wasn't satisfied and that I wanted to buy a pair so he told me to hold on and checked a few boxes for me and I ended up getting the exact pair I wanted for a really great price that I couldn't say no to. The owner is a real nice guy and takes care of his customers. When I asked why give me such a good deal he responded with "I couldn't let you walk out of my store not satisfied".
