I needed the gutters on my 2-story house cleaned - both the first and second floor gutters (the second floor ones were overflowing and dripping a ton of water on my foundation). Note that the house is very tall so the second floor gutters are a good 20 feet off the ground. I requested a quote on a weekend and the owner (Anselmo) responded to my quote request within a few hours and came out the next day to do an in-person quote. It turned out he had availability that day when everyone else was quoting weeks, so he had his guys come out a couple of hours later and take care of the job. They worked quickly and did a great job, and the price was very reasonable. My 1200 sq ft house + attached garage is more than half way surrounded by trees, most of which are pine trees with their many needles. I had previously been keeping up with cleaning off my own roof several times a year, but had lapsed about 5 years ago, and it had gotten way too bad for me to tackle on my own. I used Anselmo to install two strings of Christmas lights, and he has charged me $605 (not including tax) to install and remove those two strings. This is a price double that being charged in the market. I received two other bids for $300, but used Anselmo, since I had used him the previous year. Honestly I can't remember what I paid last year, since it was part of a total package (clean moss off roof, remove 4gutters, install and paint 4 new gutters), install and remove Christmas lights. But to be charged $605 plus tax for what might have been 1 hour's work to install and 45 minutes to remove--that is abuse. I will remove this review if he reduces the price to real market--otherwise it stands. The total number of feet of Christmas lights are about 60--front of house roof peak, and just above door peak.
