I went to Dr. Bingham for over 20 years and liked him. However, an appointment with him, and not…read morehis PA, were always at least two months out. Then, at that appointment you were guaranteed to wait at least 30-60 minutes before being seen. The result of being a good doctor I guess and those two things I could tolerate. It was his office staff that caused me to never return. Twice they scheduled me and when I showed up, I wasn't on the schedule and they weren't apologetic at all. I was SOL unless I wanted wait to see his PA after the loaded waiting room had been seen. With my commute being 50 minutes to his office, I was not happy to say the least. It wasn't until I wrote a letter to Dr. Bingham telling him of my experience that I received numerous apologetic phone messages saying they would happily fit me in the next day, but I was done. Another thing, his PA did an excessive biopsy on my daughter's beautiful leg to diagnosis, which it didn't, the cause of a stubborn rash. Instead of simply scraping it, she got out the melon ball scooper. Now my daughter has a scar the size of a quarter that looks like she was deeply burned with the tip of a cigar (pictures below). She would have preferred the rash. I've had skin cancers surgically removed that left less of a scar. That biopsy also caused an infection that spread down her leg and the office staff and nurse, once again, didn't care and dismissed it saying, "It looks normal." She went to urgent care and they were shocked his office did not prescribe her an antibiotic. I am not confident I will find a better dermatologist with a more competent office staff, but I will at least find one closer to home. The state of our so-called "health-care" system is sad. If you need a dermatologist, I wish you luck! We are all in the same sinking boat.
