Nobody in sixty miles in any direction was willing to even look at my rig before Monday. Except for Fredy's. Not only did he stay late to check my truck, but he fixed it immediately and had me on the road in less than an hour. I would have had to spend 3 or 4 times the cost of my repair just on the hotel so that I could have any other repair shop in Madras, Redmand, or Metolius just look at my engine. They saved my bucket list vacation, and I am so grateful.

I called Grays and was told that they were closed but that the owner was going to be there all day, so if we showed up he'd do what he could for us. When we showed up he came right out took a look at the van and told us exactly what he could do for us, to get us on back on the road ASAP. Fixed the problem and we were on our way. We ran into a problem with our Winnebago motorhome in the Ochoco National Forest; the engine…read morewouldn't start. Wyatt, from BLUE COLLAR AUTO & FAB in Prineville, was friendly and helpful right from the start, assisting us over the phone in finding a towing service. He also agreed to repair our motorhome immediately. Other repair shops in Prineville wouldn't touch this type of vehicle and turned us away. Wyatt carried out the repair to our complete satisfaction. He discovered that not only was the ignition switch faulty, but a ground wire connected to a defective relay had also been severed. He professionally replaced all the necessary parts. A few days later, our motorhome broke down again. This time, the cause was completely different: the fuel pump inside the gas tank had failed. We had ourselves towed once more--naturally to BLUE COLLAR AUTO & FAB, as we knew we could count on their expertise. Working with his brother Dusty, Wyatt partially drained the fuel tank, lowered it using jacks, and replaced the faulty fuel pump with a new one--an authentic Winnebago part, no less. They did all of this outdoors in 95°F heat. We highly recommend BLUE COLLAR AUTO & FAB; they are the best mechanics we have ever encountered. After all, we have been traveling in various motorhomes across Europe, North America, South America, and Australia since 1984 and have dealt with many mechanics along the way. If like like supporting a shop that rips off older people and women by all means go here. My mom…read more(late 60s) took her classic toyota cruiser here for a transmission and transfer case rebuild. They charged her a small fortune. It had to come back for a few times to be "fixed". She ended up having to pay another shop to do the work Evolution had claimed to do but actually didn't even open up the transfer case (confirmed by the next shop manager hat actually DID rebuild it) and the work was done on the trans was faulty. Evolution (or Transfix ) the old name, has been given many chances to fix this but refused. DO NOT GO HERE I wish i could rate lower that one star. You guys should be ashamed. Ripping off the elderly. I do hope carma find you sooner than later.
