This is an intimate farmers market and my favorite! I love the quality of the vendors! Everyone is…read moreso nice :) There is always some sort of live music as the market promotes local artists! This year 2023 it's located in a courtyard between other shops, and on the main street. There's a lot of local produce to choose from, as well as handmade crafts, Jim's dog cookies, skin, care, products, etc. but, the food and the organic flowers are the stars for me! I seriously can't choose what to eat on Saturdays when I go there. Today I had breakfast burritos, street tacos and a to die for smoked beef sandwich! It's only open on Saturdays in Haddonfield, South New Jersey 8am-1:30pm, from May through mid October.

There are some Saturdays that I like a little change of pace from my regular farmers market and…read moredecide to go to another one. Haddonfield farmers market is only a few miles away and I go there to pick up a few veggies, fruit as well as maybe a baked good or two. This market is located in the center of Haddonfield in closed circular pedestrian area which is surrounded by boutiques, tailoring ship and an ice cream parlor. On Saturday they transform the area with vendors selling fresh vegetables and fruits, pizza, flowers, cookies, cakes and pastries. The selections are much smaller than other area markets but it gathers a crowd and they are appreciative of your business. Haddonfield is a small enclave only a few miles from Philadelphia. So, the small town feel is humbling yet knowing a major city is a train ride away is the best of both worlds if you want to visit a larger Farmers Market for more selections. Otherwise, this market will get you through with the enjoyable delectable it offers.

I live off of Haddon Ave, and try to shop locally as much as possible. When I first moved to…read moreCollingswood, I lamented the lack of a good market on Haddon. National Food Market is a joke (that more often than not reeks of old meat). Healthworks is great, but without produce. From May through November, this isn't a problem because the farmer's market is there to meet all my produce needs. But where on the Ave can you get produce when the farmer's market is off season? Admittedly, I walked past Sara's for months without giving it much thought. I assumed that it was just another National Food Market-esque establishment. It's hard to tell from the outside, as the windows are full of plants and the door was always closed. But after checking out Yelp, I decided to go in and see if I was missing something. Turns out, I most definitely was. Sara's has inexpensive produce of decent quality. Sometimes the lettuce or kale is a little limp, so I just skip it that week. I can shave about $10 off my produce bill for the week over shopping for the same items at Wegmans. Sure, the selection is rather limited. But it covers the basics well. And there's some unique produce available that you can't find easily elsewhere (mayme sapote and prickly pear cactus pads, for example). Like another reviewer suggested, I stop by Sara's and by what I can there, and just use the grocery store to supplement what I can't get through supporting local!

Sara's is a great store to have in Collingswood. The staff is warm and welcoming. Sometimes the…read moreproduce they sell is aging out and should be disposed of earlier. It is a great place to go for last minute items.

Hung Vuong is your one stop shop for anything and everything you could ever need when cooking or…read moreshopping for East-Asian dishes! This sprawling supermarket has an incredible fresh produce section, an unmatched area for all kinds of fresh fish (both ones you've heard of and have never heard of before), a lot of really good meals to-go and so many fun and exciting options. Now that last bit might make you think I'm some robot leaving a 5 star review (maybe that's what a robot would say) but conspiracy theories aside, I truly love this gem of cherry hill. It's always super clean, staff are really helpful, and it's truly a place I love to support and shop at when I'm in the area. I'll go 20 minutes out of my way to shop here. That's says something. I encourage anyone in the area or someone who is looking for a new shopping experience to please give Hung Vuong a visit! The ONLY thing about this store (which isn't a bad thing by any means) is that MOST products are labeled in the importing countries native language. Whether it's Chinese, Vietnamese or Japanese, just make sure you use a camera translation app to double check products that you aren't entirely certain about! Love this place!

I live in…read moreNorthern Virginia, which has a very large Vietnamese community and several Vietnamese grocery stores similar to Hung Vuong. Unfortunately, my experience here was very different from what I'm used to back home. We went to the butcher section to purchase meat, and the interaction my parents had with the staff was extremely disappointing. My parents were asking questions about ground pork, as it was out, and wanted to know if there was a leaner cut that could be ground for them. While I stood back to avoid blocking other customers, I saw the butchers behind the counter repeatedly motioning for my parents to go away, using a shooing hand gesture. What made this especially upsetting was that the butchers appeared to be around the same age as my parents and were also Asian. Regardless of how busy it was or whether they were having a bad day due to the holiday rush, that kind of dismissive and disrespectful behavior toward elderly customers is unacceptable. The experience felt unwelcoming and showed a clear lack of respect. The hand gestures toward senior customers came across as a microaggression and were deeply disappointing. Because of this experience, I won't be returning and will choose a different Asian market when visiting in the future.

I have been coming to Produce Junction as long as I can remember, and was delightfully surprised…read morewhen I discovered there was one near my college campus. There are actually quite a few locations. Produce Junction has a huge variety of well, produce, and other flowers/plants. You get a lot here while spending a little. There are two separate lines for fruits and vegetables, and when the weather is nicer there is also a register outside for flowers and gardening plants. I love that there are always seasonal items here- I have gotten pumpkins here as well as Christmas trees! The Christmas trees are actually a pretty good deal here- not only is it super convenient but you can get a decently sized tree at an affordable price. Don't forget- Produce Junction is cash only!! There is an ATM inside but make sure you have cash when you get to the front of the line (and know what you want)!

As someone who has shopped there for over 30 years, I was not aware of the *new way they ring you up for plants. Usually, the cashier looks at my cart and counts the items/prices and gives me the total. The cashier today, which was rude to me last time I went, just stared at me. When I asked her "how much", she said she didn't know. She did not tell me to place all the items on the table, but waited until I asked her if that is what she wants me to do. This is something new, as was the scanner and giving of a receipt. She should have said something to me instead of just stare with an attitude. It really upset me and I will be buying my plants anywhere else!
