Went here to get my car checked out and before I did a little research on what it could be because I was afraid that my youth would make me susceptible to being taken advantage of. However, I went in, they diagnosed it with what I thought it might be, plus found an additional problem with the power steering and took the time to show me where it was and how I could tell something was wrong. They called me back with a very reasonable estimate and got in done within the day. I was far away from the shop when they closed, but they offered to stay after closing for me to wait for me to come get it! So i could have gotten it back the same day, but I asked if I could leave it over night and they told me it was no problem. Very friendly, knowledge guys. Changed the camshaft sensors and allowed me to choose which ones to buy and the mechanics replaced them in under an hour. Fair labor prices and very professional work. Unfortunately my experience was bad. He was dishonest just to make a few extra hundred dollars. I ended up taking it to another mechanic who was able to fix the issue. Shop is small in the middle of Rolando neighborhood. Faces street, has about 3-4 bays. Went there for a smog check, cheapest coupon price in the county that I could find. Arrived around 8am on a Saturday morning, owner arrived as I did. He opened up shop, offered me a seat, got my smog check done in about 30 minutes. The seating area is tiny and while the chairs are clean and comfortable, this place is not for the faint of heart. They have a coffee machine, but don't make coffee because the owner drinks only tea. Otherwise, Nasser, the owner, is very polite and offers you great deals to return for additional repairs. I'm heading back to get an axle replaced, since I didn't replace a boot before the CV joint went back. But he's offering a good deal, so there we go. read more

John (the owner) is always amazing. I call him anytime I need to get things done with my car and he is able to fit me in. I drive all the way from Santee to get an oil change because the service is so great. He showed me that mice were nesting in my engine and cleaned the nest out for me. He also showed me how to keep the mice out of my engine. Another visit he fixed my tires and pointed to a place he recommends to get a used one since he said I didn't need a new one (the tire shop was only a few buildings down). They are always so helpful. They even help me back out on to University since it's such a busy street. The owner does his research and makes sure that they are the lowest price in town. read more

This is the best option for complete Auto maintenance in SD. I go hear for all of my auto basic fixes and fillups. They can probably handle anything but I havent had any issues yet to ask. Nassar is a great guy and will give you all the info you need to know and doesnt upsell you or offer stuff you dont need. He treats you like he would want to be treated. Today was my first time going to their shop for an oil change. Nasser and Josh are amazing. They are also nice, friendly, and informative. I called in the morning to check what time they close and an estimate cost for an oil change. I ended up going after work. Josh straight away started on my car. I loved that he was multi-tasking. While my car was up and the oil was draining out, Josh was checking my tire pressure. It only took 25 minutes. I only had about a quart to a quart and a half of oil in my car so there was not much to drain. They recommended putting in a different oil because of how fast my car burns oil. Obviously Josh and Nesser are experienced because they answered a concern/question I've had without me needing to bring it up/ask. They are very helpful. They were the only ones/first ones to ever bring up that topic with me and recommend something better for my car, instead of generalizing my car like other cars. They also refilled my windshield wiper fluid (complimentary). Josh made sure the street was clear for me before I backed out. For only two people working the shop they were very put together, organized, and knows how to treat their customers. I will definitely keep coming back! read more
