The oral hygienist took my x-rays and did the cleaning, as usual. But then she said, "Let me see if the doctor has time to see you today." Huh? And apparently he didn't. I was told that she thought my teeth were fine, but he'd look over the x-rays and give me a call if he needed to. Um. Okay. I'm not knocking the oral hygienist's skill or experience, but I made an appointment to see a dentist and I paid to see a dentist ... and I did not see said dentist. How can he be "too busy" to see a patient on the day the patient's scheduled? It's as if I went to the eye doctor and was told by the tech that my vision was still really good with my current glasses, so the optometrist wouldn't need to see me that day. It felt very weird.

About four years ago my daughter had a full set of caps put on most of her baby teeth at age 3.5 in what was for her, traumatic circumstance. Needless to say, we never went to that dentist again. One of these caps fell off recently causing her mild to moderate pain, but none the less an acute situation. I called Estey Dental and the receptionist told me to Dr was out and she needed to speak with him about scheduling. She called back a few minutes later saying that he "didn't do caps" and would not see her and she HAD to go back to what we in my family call "the bad dentist". I told her about my daughters bad experience there and asked if he could simply assess the tooth, and she cut me off saying "no. She must go back to the other dentist. He won't see her". Long story short, I found a dentist that would see her with a referral from Estey Dental, I called and told them and the next day they called me to schedule a time for the Dr to assess her tooth for the referral. Today, I had an unavoidable situation--my kids' babysitter had to cancel last minute. I immediately called Gentle Dental first thing in the morning to reschedule. Their response? "We can reschedule, but there's a $50 fee." Seriously? What is this--1985? I'm already paying premium prices for care, and now I'm hit with a penalty for a genuine emergency? No flexibility, no understanding, no effort to retain a loyal customer. My family has brought them plenty of business, and this is how we're treated? When did customer retention stop being a priority? When did we normalize this kind of price gouging and corporate coldness? Shame on any business that thinks this is acceptable--especially in healthcare. Rescheduling still brings them business, just not my business after today! Gentle Dental, you've lost a loyal customer. Wonderful experience at Raynor Dental We recently had a…read moregreat experience at Raynor dental after my wife wound up needing an emergency extraction. Over the weekend and into early this week a tooth she was having trouble with became very painful. Our current dentist, could not do anything until mid December. I researched emergency dental care and found Raynor. Patty answered the phone and was so pleasant and helpful. Patty conferred with one of the dentists, Dr. Leora Hilbert, and they were able to get my wife in later that day. Amazing! We arrived in early afternoon and met Jill who kept me informed of what was happening while my wife went with one of the hygienists to prepare for the extraction. While not pleasant, the extraction went well and my wife was thrilled with Dr. Leora and her wonderful personality & easy going nature as well as the hygienists. All in all we are very impressed with Raynor so much so we are moving both our dental care to Raynor. Our thanks to everyone at Raynor who played a part in getting my wife's issue resolved so quickly and in such a friendly and compassionate manner!

I have gone in person and waited 30+ minutes for someone to address me as the only one in the waiting room. The actual dental care is adequate, but not exceptionally thorough. I voiced multiple concerns during regular check ups that were brushed off until a larger issue arose. There's just an overall vibe that no one cares as they're dealing with mostly state funded instance clients.

I am 72 and finally have found an amazing dentist. I have been phobic about dental appointments…read moresince I was a child and I know my blood pressure sky rockets in a dentists office however I actually look forward to my time at Zervas Dentistry. My husband was shocked at how costly my previous dentists recommendations were so we were considering a university clinic which was almost impossible to get an appointment with for a good year or two and a two hour drive each way or going to Mexico which I was not a fan of for many reasons. We found out about Dr. Zervas from a stranger who raved so highly about him we went online immediately and thought this might be a great fit. It absolutely is. Dr. Zervas is one of the most positive, high vibe, happy people on the planet. A beautiful smile always greets you. He is completely invested in your wellbeing and comfort. I feel like I am at the feet of a master, and at a spa. I am a new patient at his office and have had quite a bit of dental work already and it all happens in the same office. I didn't have to go to a periodontist, I didn't have to go somewhere else for tooth extractions and everything has been going very well. The grand finale is there is a financial plan which for my family makes this wonderful place completely affordable. I hope it will for you too!!!

She continued in her roughneck fashion until I stopped her again, describing the pain she'd caused and left mid cleaning, holding my mouth in pain. Previously, I'd had my teeth cleaned twice a year for three years by their other hygienists with no problem. I will not go back to this office, nor do I recommend it. Additionally, their dentists are frequently replaced which is never a good sign. The current new assistant DDS is in office only on Mondays now. Receptionists don't last long either. BTW the practice photo (web stock pic?) is out of date, those guys aren't here anymore, if they ever were.
