My husband went to the shop to talk to the owner and ended up leaving our crane piece with him to frame. We selected a white frame, and the owner suggested that we add in a blue boarded inside the frame (which you can't see unless you're standing and looking at the frame on the side). Our custom frame was completed in such a quick time and when we went to go pick it up, we were blown away. It was just the right touch to finish off our crane artwork and piece everything together. They wanted the same exact look and material as was used by a previous vendor. PPF not only found the same frame material, but they were able to perfectly replicate the mat board used for each frame. We don't beat around the bush or use flowery talk to loosen up your wallet. Top marks for Chaing's Frame. I came here at the recommendation of several friends who have had traditional Chinese art and calligraphy mounted and framed here. Make no mistake -- you cannot take traditional art painted on rice paper to, say, Aaron's Brothers. They will mangle it. Chinese rice paper needs to be either steamed or ironed to flatten all the wrinkles out, and then soaked in a special glue for perfectly flat mounting. Chiang's Frame knows exactly how these techniques are done and executed them flawlessly. I could not be happier.
