Would not recommend. Supposed to guarantee work but I've had issues and they refuse to follow up.

I've used PHP twice for exterior work. Once a few years ago to repaint a garage that was peeling badly, and once to prep our house for sale. In both cases the work was done quickly, professionally, and very affordably. The garage has held up great. When we were preparing the house for sale, they suggested several things they could do to that I wasn't even aware needed done, but they knew what inspectors would expect. We had this company 8 years ago paint the exterior of our home. We called them back to get a bid on the interior since we were satisfied with their previous job. This time the entire experience is one we are hopeful doesn't happen to others. The crew of 5 men they sent to do the job was sloppy and non-caring. During the walk-thru once they finished, three of the original crew was sent back to redo what should have been done originally. The job was a mess. They had one employee that painted the wall where it intersects with the ceiling and the line was crooked and had to redone almost the entire house. We found sloppy work that left paint on surfaces that didn't need painting and in the end would never have this team back for an interior. Maybe the exterior but the crew was less than professional. Watch out who you choose. read more

We bought a house that had a LOT of wallpaper in it. It looked like what a grandma would put throughout the house in the 90's. We hired Professional House Painters to remove the wallpaper, skim coat and texture the walls and paint in 3 rooms. They did a great job all around! They first came out to do a free estimate. The company is easy to work with and highly responsive. The crew that did the work was great. They kept things covered and protected, were respectful of the house, and were friendly and efficient. PHP painted the exterior of home in May and did touch up painting on the exterior. Staff and painters were all very professional, all work was completed in a timely manner, prep work (power washing, caulking, masking) was well performed and the actual painting was excellent. Areas were always cleaned up at the end of day. Alex did a good job of paint color matching and did an excellent job of communicating follow up, scheduling, etc. I cannot say enough about the prep and paint crew... clean and quality work by all, always on time and always polite. I contacted Professional House Painters after watching them paint my neighbor's house a couple of summers ago. My wife and I were really impressed just watching them work. Then, even more impressed with the end result. I made a note to contact them when we were ready for our house paint. They were one of 6 companies I got bids from. Professional House Painters wasn't the lowest bid, but they were still reasonable and came across as much more professional than the company with the lowest bid. Alex came out and did the estimate. He was very easy to talk, informative, punctual, down to earth and professional from the moment we initially met, to scheduling, to the final walkthrough. All the crew that did the scraping, priming, prepping, taping off and painting were awesome. They worked their butts off and had some of the best attention to detail I've seen in any kind of construction crew. Jose managed the painting crew and was very communicative and did excellent work. For example, the hardware (hinges, knobs, etc.) on my front door is all black, but my doorbell was an old relic that was a tarnished scratched up mess. Jose said he had some black spray paint in the truck and would be happy to paint it to match the hardware if I'd like. That's the kind of service and attention to detail he had throughout. The painting looked pristine and beautiful when they were done, and we've already had a couple of neighbors ask us if they could get their info as well. They also did a great job of cleaning up and reinstalling the outdoor fixtures that they removed for the paint. We needed to refresh the interior of our house prior to selling it. We were looking to paint most of the walls and ceilings on the main floor as well as upstairs. We also had some spots needing touch ups (i.e. plaster around the chimney, window / door trim, outside window). We wanted the painting to happen quickly and right after we moved out. I called Ramon and he was able to come out the very next day to take a look. He was easy to talk to and understood the scope / goal of the project. As we walked through the house, Ramon was able to give suggestions of what / how they could handle different areas. He also reassured us that they can accommodate our schedule and that they work would be done in no more than 3 days. We received the estimate a couple days later just as Ramon promised. As the start date approached, Ellie kept us updated on the exact start date / time. She also gave us status updates throughout the project and checked in at the end to ensure we were satisfied with the results. The crew was excellent. We have used PHP several times over the years and have never been disappointed. They recently painted the exterior of our house and did an excellent job. They guided me to a resource to assist me in picking a new paint color and patiently worked through all the details of accent colors, deck paint, door re-staining, etc. They were here on time and finished the entire house in three days. Everything was completely cleaned up and we did a thorough walk through at the end to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. You can really tell that they take tremendous pride in their work. Communication was very good throughout the project and they easily handled a last minute color change for a small area, even though it was Sunday.
