They work in sync like a band that's been playing together for years, lapping around and making sure all patients are engaged and progressing through the various treatments/exercises in their respective treatment plans. I came here in August with a ruptured Achilles that I had surgery to repair, and walked out (literally!) just a few months later, and far earlier than the surgeon had expected. That's a true testament to the time and attention everyone here gave to me, referring frequently to my chart and the well-taken notes, gradually adding weight and/or repetitions on, and mixing in new exercises when appropriate. I also really appreciated the overall vibe here. Good music is always playing (could be 90s grunge, pop country, or classic rock, depends on who takes over the playlist!) staff are all friendly with the patients and with each other, and there's a great mix of folks in here to chat with. The walls are decorated with staff photos, pics of their kids, etc. and little league team photos from the teams they sponsor! Short version: It's about as fun as physical therapy can be! I am so appreciative to everyone here, and although I hope I never need PT again, I'd return here without hesitation! Thank you!

She has been working with my son for over 12 months and when we first started coming here he was not even sitting independently. He is now confidently walking and running and even jumping. I can very honestly say the progress my son has made would not have happened if it wasn't for Dr. Kelly. She is amazingly sweet and the entire staff at the practice was very genuine and kind and worked with us and our insurance company to ensure we got the best care. I appreciate them and I would recommend them to everyone!

Don't be fooled by the typical strip mall exterior; the services here are top notch. We mostly saw Joe and Jessica, but everyone we worked with was great with my daughter. In a few weeks her handwriting was back to normal, she could play her cello again without pain, and she could do her schoolwork without complaining (at least not about pain). The front desk was efficient and organized and our appointments were on time. I had to write a review because I'm rarely so pleasantly surprised!

I had visited three physical therapy sites before coming to Ivy and Vinnie approached me while I was in the waiting room and offered to show me the facility and explained the physical therapy process. I was so impressed with his dedication and kindness that I asked him if he could coordinate my physical therapy and he immediately said of course he would. Back in February, my mother 89 year-old mother started suffering from lower back pain that she…read moreinitially attributed both to her spinal stenosis, diagnosed many years ago, and old age. After a short hospital stay for x-rays and pain management, it was found that she had a slipped disc. Any thoughts of rehab had to be postponed, however, as she got sick with COVID-19 soon after. She recovered, but it left her a bit weak and unsteady. I called my girlfriend, a former gymnast, dancer, and now, doctor of physical therapy, who is director of rehab medicine for a hospital system in another state, and asked for advice. "You CANNOT go to some random PT clinic and expect them to be able to help your mother! It has to be someone who specializes in the spine, and thoroughly understands movement and the body. Whoever it is has to have the very specialized education and training to know how to get your mom back to functioning at the high level she's used to. " She called back a few minutes later. "I just found your guy." Dr. Sparacio, who goes by Jack, was friendly, welcoming, and professional from the first phone call, addressing all of my questions and concerns, including assurance that all COVID-19 safety protocols were in place at his clinic. Jack was to be out of town that week, but assumed me that all of his therapists were equally qualified. As promised, Cameron knew exactly how to work with my mom and get her started. Friendly, upbeat, and thoroughly professional, he clearly was someone who enjoyed his job. All subsequent sessions were with Jack, who gave Mom his full attention as he worked with her. He carefully explained how to do the exercises, as well as the purpose of each. In addition, Jack took the time to engage with and get to know my mother, listening as she told stories of her life and career. Though obviously a people person, it became clear that this was an important component of Jack's method of treatment. The space itself is clean and organized, but the "feel" is inviting and informal, even as profound and important healing work is done. My mother says that she can't thank Dr. Jack Sparacio and his staff enough for giving her the tools to feel and function so much better! Neither can I!

Ellior, Angie, and Anna are incredibly attentive and never make you feel rushed, even when it's busy. From day one, I felt like more than just a patient -- they truly treat you like family. I also have a medical condition, and Ellior went above and beyond by staying with me during my session and even calling afterward to make sure I got home safely. That level of care is rare. The entire team, including the students, is fantastic. I highly recommend the Malverne location -- they genuinely care and it shows.

I just started working with Matt and in a matter of 2 visits he figured out what worked for me and listened to my issues and honesty of my condition and adjusted my care for my needs with having the same outcome . Again an asset to metro. The young ladies who help the OTs and PTs whether in school for this field or not are huge asset . Kind and compassionate and know how what I need . They Make it a point to get to know you or it's there nature which to me being dental hygienist clinician it's so important to know your patients. So METRO BELLMORE BEST ! Caring and understanding! It was pretty scary at first, specially being at the care of others and having to trust that they know what they're doing while being afraid of anything happening to you, again. Like falling or getting it more damaged. But the girls there have had a great deal of empathy, & have been very caring. They have a lot of patience and have cheered me on throughout my recovery journey, which has been an emotional rollercoaster as well. Today I'm walking with a boot, no pain as of yet. Soon to transition to a shoe. Sometime next week. This is the Wantagh location*
