Don't be fooled by the typical strip mall exterior; the services here are top notch. We mostly saw Joe and Jessica, but everyone we worked with was great with my daughter. I had visited three physical therapy sites before coming to Ivy and Vinnie approached me while I was in the waiting room and offered to show me the facility and explained the physical therapy process. I had physical therapy at this facility for 2 months. Within 1 month after I started, my physical…read moretherapist went out on leave, after which I was not immediately assigned to a new therapist. Instead, I had a different therapist each time I went for about 1-2 weeks, during which I spent most of the time in the sessions wondering who was working with me. On one of those days, the therapist who started a session with me went home before my session was done without saying he had reached the end of his shift. The massage portion of the sessions always seemed to be an issue. Most times I did not receive a massage unless I asked, however, there was always a charge for a massage on the billing statements. Also, on one occasion after I asked about the fact that I was not receiving massages, I was given a massage with a massage gun apparently at its highest setting. Despite being in obvious pain from the intensity of the massage gun, the therapist did not make any adjustment. A family member accompanied me and noticed that I was uncomfortable and also found it odd that the therapist was not observing my response; this seemed intentional. Also, most of the exercises during the sessions were done on my own and can be done at home.

I returned recently to get therapy after rotator cuff surgery. PT Mike continues to provide amazing therapy in a professional manner. One on one therapy, explains everything on the treatment plan. This office specializes in manual PT, no handoffs to aides or machines. Mike is patient, kind and interested. Karen in the office is kind and accommodating. Right now I'm working with Arielle, who is absolutely one of the best in terms of telling you what's going on with your injury & why certain movements will help/hurt. I've been gaslit a LOT by doctors so I'm always on edge but I've never felt anything but compassion from the team here. I'm also a big fan of the new compression leg thing! The space is huge and they're super good about cleaning equipment!
