I was sure that it would take longer than the 3 hour minimum, but Sam and Dastan were miraculously able to wrap up the job in 3 hours on the dot. They were up front and transparent about any extra charges (we were charged $150 for the 32 steps up to our flat). And these guys worked HARD with hardly any downtime or breaks. I was floored. You may be able to find a lower hourly rate with other moving companies in the city but I was beyond pleased with their hard work and was happy to pay the rate with how quickly they got the job done. Nothing was broken, including my vintage floor lamp that I was worried about. I would highly recommend this company, they aren't kidding calling themselves the G.O.A.T.

They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. All of our furniture and items arrived with no issues and no complaints. I definitely recommend Justin Bell and Gus! If you guys are ever are needing Movers, really, get these guys! Horrible moving experience -- significantly exceeded estimate, poor planning, and no resolution…read more I had a very disappointing experience with All Service Moving. I was originally given an estimate of approximately 3-4.5 hours and $690-$800 for my small single bedroom apartment. Instead, my move took approximately 6.5 hours and cost me over $1,000. A major issue was the truck that was sent for my move. I was moving out of an approximately 600-square-foot apartment, and the truck was significantly larger than necessary -- it ended up being only about 40% full. Because of the truck's size, it couldn't access the loading area where it needed to park, which meant the movers had to make much longer trips between the truck and my apartment. This added a considerable amount of time to the move. Photos and information about both locations were available beforehand, and had been viewed so I don't understand why an appropriately sized truck wasn't selected. The other major issue was the pace of the move. I repeatedly observed the movers not actively working. Nearly every time I went outside, they were standing around talking, laughing, or on their phones. When I went back into my apartment while they were working inside, I observed similar periods where they were not actively moving items. I completely understand that reasonable breaks are necessary, but this was far beyond what I expected when I was being charged by the hour. The movers were polite during the actual move, and I initially had no concerns about their interpersonal conduct. Unfortunately, that changed afterward. One of the movers began repeatedly contacting me on my personal phone asking about a tip and a five-star review. I repeatedly explained that I intended to tip but was waiting for a bank transfer to clear and that it would take a few days. Despite that explanation, I received multiple texts a day asking about it. I ultimately felt harassed and uncomfortable enough that I blocked the number. I contacted the company afterward and gave them a detailed explanation of my concerns, including the oversized truck, the additional time and cost, the repeated periods where the movers weren't actively working, and the inappropriate pressure regarding the tip. Unfortunately, they did nothing to resolve the situation. The Operations Manager's response was simply: "It is Unfortunate that I must inform you That we cannot issue you any kind of reimburse you any kind of refund." There was no meaningful response to the specific concerns I raised and no attempt to address why a move estimated at 3-4.5 hours and $690-$800 turned into a 6.5-hour, $1,000+ move. I was promised a certain level of service and a guaranteed timeframe/cost, and that expectation was not met. I gave the company an opportunity to make the situation right, and they declined to do anything. I would strongly recommend getting very specific information about truck size, access, estimated hours, and what happens if the move significantly exceeds the estimate before booking with this company. My experience left me feeling like I paid substantially more because of poor planning and an inefficient move, and then received no meaningful response when I brought those concerns to the company.

He said "it sounds like you need the container ASAP so if you would like two of them delivered this afternoon we can do that and deliver the other two the following day". They were not the lowest quote we received, but we felt confident after meeting with the above man, and after a few of our neighbors recommended them, that they were worth the money. Unfortunately, we were wrong. They sent 4 crew members out and one truck. They arrived timely, and 2 of the 4 crew were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, but that's really the only positives from the day. One crew was new and would aimlessly wander and not work until someone gave him explicit instructions. One was kind of bossy and a little argumentative which we let slide because he was working and doing a lot. By 9:30 pm we had to ask them to leave. We have 3 kids, 2 under 6, and we needed to get them to bed. They were not done and even the crew stated they needed 6 people and two trucks to do this job in one day - no idea why it took them until the evening to admit this vs just calling the office at mid-day to get help. In all fairness, the company tried to make it right and sent, at no additional cost to us, two (very nice, very helpful) men two days later to help put together all the furniture they didn't have time to put back together on moving day (one was the gentleman from the original move day who was very kind and worked super hard). They also helped move furniture and boxes to the correct spaces that had been simply left in the garage moving day since we asked them to call it a night. We appreciated that gesture. They did damage one piece of furniture in the truck by not padding/packing it properly. We are going through the claims department and due to the weekend haven't had a resolution yet. I'm hoping that will be a positive experience. Also, we had tons of wall scuffs and dings after the move which was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this company to others even though we were really optimistic about them in the beginning. It made for an incredibly long, stressful, and frustrating day.

But I decided to give them a shot and had basically a perfect experience. They were prompt, courteous, and honestly pretty funny guys. Any suggestions or requests I had were promptly addressed and they moved everything without any damage or loss of items whatsoever. I was given a discounted rate due to booking on a less busy day, but even at full price they were far lower than the competitor pricing (even including a returning customer discount for one of the competitors). I'm guessing rates are lower as they build their presence. But they knocked it out of the park with service and were wildly cheaper. I can't recommend these guys enough.
