Their professionalism and skill was borderline intimidating (in a good way). And I don't mean to imply they weren't warm; quite the opposite! I left each fitting glowing with confidence from their compliments and encouragement. As far as the work product is concerned, I was blown away. From fitting one to the final fitting, this dress was transformed. And it wasn't particularly easy -- my dress had tricky lace at the bottom that had to be hemmed without creating an ugly line. They did a gorgeous job of working around the design in a way that I actually think enhanced it overall. They showed me how to bustle the dress and let me take videos. They took a hundred photos for me. And again, the fit was perfection. In short -- get your alterations done here! You won't regret it.

I didn't think my dress needed too many adjustments at first, but looking back it was at least a size too big for me (see before pic included with this review). I was a little worried that the dress style I picked could look too nightgown-ish, but with Beam's changes it fit perfectly and looked polished and glamorous. I couldn't stop smiling at our second fitting when I saw and felt how much better it fit my body. She even made the bust work with my itty bitties (iykyk) by taking out extra fabric, remaking the shoulders, and adding the proper sized cups so I didn't even need to wear a bra. Her work is meticulous and the final product was gorgeous. She also gave me a recommendation to a quality dry-cleaner, as I bought my dress used and it had a few marks on it. She provided an itemized estimate at our first meeting and gave me the option to add additional changes later after I had time to decide whether I wanted them without pressure. She even texted me pictures of what two different types of bustles would look like on my actual dress so I could make an informed decision. Beam is talented and very sweet. She communicated clearly about her availability and always kept her appointments. I felt confident and glamorous on my wedding day, and got many compliments on my dress. I'm very happy I picked her as my wedding tailor, and I recommend her and Sunrise Couture Alterations wholeheartedly.
