OMG wow just had the interior of our house painted by Fernando Lugo wow what a fantastic job. OMG to say we were blown away by the final outcome is an understatement. First of all Milton and Rafi who were here for 6 days were terrific guys. They were professional, courteous, friendly and were meticulous in their work with every detail and didn't rush through it at all. They were here on time every day, and were just such nice guys as they went about their work. My wife who has been working from home was very impressed by how they kept her in the loop on everything. They also let us know when all done each night not only would they inspect it, but wanted us to walk and check it out every night and make a list of questions or concerns. Also let us know they would do all the caulking at the end, touch ups etc which I liked very much. They took such pride in their work. I was impressed by how they took off every plate outlet, the light fixtures off the walls, bathroom towel holders off the walls, i mean you name it and they did it and did it with such detail as if they were painting their own homes. Fernando gave us a great price, and told us when he met with us for an hour and walked the house, that all the caulking, nail pops, cracks, would all be sanded, prepped and fixed, with two coats of paint. I mean the final results are much nicer than my wife and I expected. They left us paint in case we needed it, and plenty of it as well. I can't say enough great things about the entire process. Fernando is very busy so for him to come out and spend over an hour with us was great. Then he worked with us on a date, as we had some things coming up, thus we kept in touch and agreed on a very timeline. Fernando also checked in with us here and there and you can tell he has confidence in his guys, and now we know why. My wife and I are truly very impressed by the outcome. Now that we have been blown away we want to talk to him about some possible other painting needs, i.e. outside and fence. I hired Fernando to paint some of my interior house, they ended up doing far more than I even asked for and used a lot of intuition to help me and fix issues I knew existed but I had not asked or expected to be taken care off. he did this all under our first quote and areas we agreed upon without asking for more - simply saying "I know we did extra, but I just wanted to do an awesome job for you" :) Amazing!! and I am very much blown away. (I am not saying this is possible to happen for every job and scenario, because every job is different. But I just had to share my experience with PTP) The painting itself is immaculate, right down to the smallest edge or corner, the house was left spotless and clean. I get the feeling that Fernando and his team REALLY treat your house like it was their own and take great pride in their work. They don't skip corners or take shortcuts - I was told how every wall would be properly primed and prepped before painting, hand railings and fixtures were all properly and carefully removed and the wall fully painted underneath, I know this because one of my staircase hand railings was semi-loose before the job and was completely tightened afterwards. Fernando fixed dents in my dry wall, chips in wood, removed and fixed every screw or nail hole and even repaired a massive chunk missing from the EDGE of one my walls. We recently purchased a large older home, the entire interior of which needed to be painted. We were referred to Fernando and Professional Touch Paint by a colleague of my husband's. Fernando was able to come out to the house soon after I called him, and walked through the house with me as I explained the work that needed to be done. He sent me a quote later that same day, which was a very quick turnaround and very much appreciated. His price was less than the two other paint contractors that we got bids from. He was able to fit us into his schedule right after we moved in. His team arrived and set to work immediately and very efficiently. The wood floors had all been refinished prior to us moving in. They took great care to protect them as they moved and draped the furniture, and always covered them to walk across them. They were careful with all of our belongings as well, treating them gently, as if they were their own. They were at our home, working long hours for the better part of two weeks. They were always respectful and courteous and very hardworking. They did beautiful work as well. We have a theatre room that needed some patchwork done on the ceiling. It now appears perfect. Many of the walls throughout the house had defects that were made perfect. Fernando required no money up front. We didn't pay him until the job was completed. Our experience with him has been exceptional. He is honest and kind and a an awesome person. Enrique and the team are exceptional as well. They are great guys who do excellent work. I found Fernando Lugo with Professional Touch Paint on Nextdoor. He had excellent reviews overall. The only negatives were that he had an abundance of work and as a result sometimes had trouble with scheduling. That was okay with me as I was in no hurry. I contacted him mid-March. He came to my house two weeks later, walked around the house with me and provided a quote via text message later that night to paint my house's exterior. His price was fair. He did mention that he didn't want to begin painting until after the pollen had subsided which I appreciated. We attempted to start the work in late May but rain got in the way. Mario, one of Fernando's painters, arrived June 10 and pressure washed the house. He also cleaned the front steps and driveway which we appreciated. Mario and Oscar arrived Monday morning and started work. Mario attempted to get the color we wanted and found that it was no longer sold. He went to great lengths to get the exact color we wanted, going to four different paint stores to get a match. For a while there, we were afraid he wouldn't be successful but to our delight, he succeeded. The painters did an excellent job overall. Our house has never looked so good! There was no spillage and the painters paid great attention to detail. I had two places where wood needed to be replaced and that was completed with no issues. I checked their work daily. If I found anything that wasn't to my satisfaction, I pointed it out and the problem was addressed promptly. In talking to Mario, he mentioned that he had been working for another painting company who wouldn't pay enough. This prompted me to ask if Fernando treated him fairly. Fernando came to our house on a Sunday afternoon to consult and give us a quote. He was quick, but very thorough. Fernando kept in contact with us, and after we picked our colors he quickly worked us into his schedule. We were very happy to be put onto his schedule as quickly as we were. With the holidays coming, I'm sure he and his team are very busy this time of year. The day of the job, we were called before anyone showed up to let us know they were almost at the house. The crew showed up on time and immediately started prepping the rooms for paint. While doing a walkthrough with one of the crew members to go over the work to be done, the rest of the crew was busy moving furniture from walls, taking down fixtures, and making sure that everything was draped in drop cloths or plastic to protect it. The crew that was sent to our house to work was very friendly and very good at the work that they did. It was an extremely clean job. The walls look great - the paint went on smooth and has no brush strokes. The trim was painted perfectly without bleeding the trim paint onto the walls. Any fixtures that could not be removed were spotless when they left. They event painted a few of our air vent covers that had a little rust on them without being asked. If you need painting stop reading reviews and just call Fernando. This is a business owner who lives and breathes customer service, and his team are masters of their trade. Being a new home owner my budget is tight and Fernando patiently provided quotes for different jobs while I tried to figure out how I was going to spend my money. My final decision was to remove the popcorn ceiling from the most used/obvious sections of my home. Fernando was able to schedule a team on short notice to get the job done before my furniture arrived. Each morning the guys were onsite exactly when they said they would be, and they were equally punctual returning from lunch. Removing popcorn ceilings is a messy (understatement) job so prep is important, and prep is what they did: overlapping drop clothes, all seams taped, ceiling to floor plastic, lighting housings, fan blades, and fixtures all encased in plastic. Even the swag chain from the terrible 1980's pendant lamp was encased. After 3 days of ladders and stilts my ceiling is smooooth and beautiful. In addition to getting rid of the popcorn the guys also patched the ceiling/wall junction, painted the patching, applied caulk in key locations, and removed the all protective materials with care. I finally had to kick them out because at 6pm on a Friday they were scrubbing countertops and mopping the floor (they had started at 8am). As I ushered them home to their families they paused to offer to wash the walkway which had, at most, 3 dusty footprints. Let me apologize first that I did not post this back in November when the project was completed. Life happens.....But Mr. Lugo and his team did an amazing job! Prior to the work being completed, Mr. Lugo came out to discuss our needs. He was very pleasant and professional, and listened intentionally. He gave us advise on concerns we had, and explained every reasoning along the way. One thing I noticed right off the bat was that Mr Lugo PAYS ATTENTION TO DETAIL! He wanted everything to look right, professional, and the end project to be pleasing to us. We needed some repair work on existing walls like nail pops and wall indentions, and he fixed them all. It was wonderful to see that he not only cared about the end product, but cared to correct anything that needed fixing prior to completing the work. His team was very professional and courteous. They would arrive on time, and let me know their coming and goings. Mr. Lugo and his team went above and beyond what we discussed and expected. My husband and I was very pleased with the work!! I forgot to mention what they did: prepared and painted the living room and dining room ceiling, painted the living room (with vaulted ceilings) and dining room, and hallway. Fernando Lugo's "Professional Touch Paint" company provided us with an excellent paint job of our home's exterior, and a rare business experience. It's hard to say enough about how pleased we've been with Fernando's services. The day he came to evaluate the work required he gave us an estimate of the entire cost. It was a straightforward estimate, reasonable and competitive and covered every aspect of the entire job. Right up through the completion of work there were no delays, no surprises and no cost overruns. The three-man paint crew he selected were highly experienced, efficient, neat and always pleasant. The first day was a power washing of the entire house, including walkways that were close to painted surfaces. My house was built in 1973 so there were three or more spots that needed wood replacement and many, many spots that needed caulking. All preparatory repair work was included. As work progressed all windows and screens were covered with plastic and everything that shouldn't be painted was covered or protected. The aging exterior of our screened porch was also treated to its first coat of beautifying stain. (I should have done it long ago.) Work was smoothly scheduled and never rushed. High quality Sherwin-Williams paints were used throughout. The entire job took 4 days, including a day's pause on account of rain. I have used Fernando Lugo of Professional Touch Painting for two large separate jobs during this past year. Both jobs were large to the point that many painting contractors would not have the staff and professional knowledge to perform to the standards of our expectations. Fernando recommended the quality paints and stains to excellently handle the painting of my brick home exterior in addition to all decking and interior surfaces including kitchen cabinets. My first home job was in excess of 5000 square feet. The job was completed not only in the highest of standards but in a very timely manner. Fernando and his guys were great. Very polite, professional, hard working and did a great job. After Cristobal painting decided not to show up to paint, I called Fernando and explained that I had taken the day off to have painting done and that the painter did not show up. I wanted to get my house on the market in the next week or so, so I was looking for someone to do a little painting. Fernando, was able to send over 2 guys an hour after we spoke. They looked at what I wanted painted, looked at the paint I had already purchased and said that it was plenty to do the job. They immediately got started and worked most of the day, finishing what I needed done and did a great job, both guys were great, knew what they were doing and stayed hard at work, completing the job. I rarely am able to give a really positive review of anything, my standards for customer service are high as I believe people should charge a fair rate and do what they say they are going to do with no excuses for poor work or a bad attitude. After contacting over 10 painters my boyfriend and I chose Professional Touch Paint, Fernando Lugo, to paint our master bedroom and bath. Our cathedral ceilings were intimidating and we were cautious to choose a painter to climb to the 20 foot point to paint. His quote came in and we were blown away with the affordability. Due to a schedule conflict, Fernando's crew came on a Saturday and worked until 8pm to get the job done. There was still some trim to be done and Juan came back on Sunday to finish up. The cleanliness and attention to detail are impeccable. There were several spots in the wall where things were hung and it's unbelievable the job they did covering it up, you can't even tell. Awesome, Awesome! We needed to have our downstairs painted in our home. Four rooms including the kitchen, living room, dining room, and home office area. Also a bathroom and a hallway and stairway. All with Crown Molding and baseboards. I read the yelp reviews and was surprised to find a service company with so many good reviews. Well they are all true. I met with Fernando, owner and foreman, and we discussed the project. Within a day or so I had a good estimate for the work we needed completed. We settled on a start date, and my wife and I moved most of the little stuff out of the way of the painters. Fernando and his crew showed up at 7:56am for an 8:00am start time. (god I love punctuality.) Fernando's crew began working immediately, sanding walls, fixing holes, repairing sheetrock. Lunch at noon and right back at it. No music playing and very little talking. Just work. To my amazement, this crew painted all surfaces with two coats, baseboard, walls, crown molding and some ceiling touch up. They were complete and cleaned up in ONE DAY. Unbelievable. My wife who has worked in Realestate for 25 years could not find an error in the work. And was very happy with the great quality. WE are ecstatic. I highly recommend this company. We hired Fernando and his crew to do some sheetrock repair and paint a major portion of the interior of our home. His price was considerably less than others I received. I had been seeing posts about him on the Wake Forest Community Information Facebook page for years and pretty much always thought I would hire him when I was ready to get the house painted, and after meeting with other companies I was right. Fernando's team is a great group of hard working professionals. They arrived every day early and ready to start and stayed on the job all day-literally. They work fantastic together and we're a pleasure to have in my home for more than a week. His crew is amazing! Their work ethic is amazing and very talented painters. I'm sure we were a difficult customer because of a large number of dogs we have but they never let that bother them and they worked around us bringing the dogs inside and outside. When completed Fernando came to inspect and immediately sent a lead painter over to tend to some areas that needed a final touch and everything is perfect. Fernando and his team was recommended to us by a friend/Realtor. We are so thankful. We had a huge job for them to tackle - they spent all day (8:00-5/5:30) here for 6 days straight. They are very professional and extremely hardworking. Originally our paint job was to go to a General Contractor, but we have had so many issues with the GC, we decided to assign the paint to someone we could trust to do the job correctly - the first time. When Fernando came to do the estimate, my husband was on a business call so he was not able to speak with him, and I was out of town so he walked through my house with me on my daughter's phone to ask which rooms would be done - he didn't need any additional information, other than to know which rooms. I am beyond impressed with Fernando and his team. We had the interior of our whole house painted which is three floors including interior closets, ceilings, walls, doors, trim and even the kitchen cabinets. They took care of all the nail holes, nail pops and cracks that i had in many areas of the walls. Pretty much made it look brand new and you can't even tell i had any imperfections now. I can not say enough great things about Fernando and his crew. Fernando worked with us and was extremely patient as we spent months agonizing over our color selections. When we finally settled on our colors he was able to work us into his schedule in a very reasonable amount of time. The level of quality of the job exceeded my expectations. We had some issues with our drywall in a few spots. There were some nail pops and a couple of settling cracks that they made disappear. What really surprised me was what they were able to do with some bad drywall seams we had. On a very large wall above our great room the seams from the original builders were painfully obvious. His crew was able to feather out the seams and made it look better than the day it was built. I was amazed to watch the speed, efficiency, and well - artistry of his drywall guru. The rest of the crew was no less skilled in their jobs. Their ability to cut a clean straight line without tape was amazing. The transition from one wall with our accent color to the adjoining wall has a razor sharp precision that could not have been done any better. We had the entire inside of our large home painted, which was quite an undertaking. We had a number of estimates, finally chose Professional Touch and are so glad that we did! Fernando Lugo, the owner, assured us from the time he walked in the door that his guys would have everything under control....and they did! Fernando helped with paint selection, gave us a fan book of all the Sherwin Williams colors, and also brought a number of color samples which he painted on our walls. This definitely helped us to decide which colors to choose. His crew was thorough, fast, a pleasure to have in our home and left it looking so much fresher with expertly painted walls. Chalk up yet another fan for Fernando and Professional Touch Paint. My realtor recommended Fernando and his team to me and I was not disappointed. I knew when I walked into the house and saw everything covered, and I don't mean just thrown down, I mean fitted and taped down, I was going to get a good job. They did extensive wall and ceiling repairs [the house I am selling in 56 years old] and used Sherwin Williams paints. When the job was done, it didn't look like the same house. I got 3 quotes to do this work and Fernando's price was right in the middle price wise, but the reason I choose him, was he was the only one, when he gave me the price, that went over everything we discussed doing and then once there, he did more that we agreed upon [because he didn't think it looked good otherwise] at no extra cost to me. Neither of the other company's representatives did this, and as I asked each of them and reminded them of things they forgot, their prices went up and up. Lastly, each of Fernando's crew were just as nice and professional as anyone could ask for, and incase you don't know it, this is unusual.
