When looking for a photographer for our son's senior pictures there was no doubt she was the one to use! She spent time to get to know our son and find out what HE liked. Doing this she was able to capture him perfectly. We had a great time at different locations capturing him. When we got our pictures back we were even more impressed at the work she did. We highly recommend Kim and will be using her again when our daughter gets her senior pictures done.

As I saw pictures being posted there was one photographer who's work always impressed me, KJay Photography. After working with Kim it became apparent why her photos are so amazing. She gets to know her subjects, she provides great suggestions to get the shots you want. She has wonderful locations understands the importance of lighting and works seamlessly and creatively to get hundreds of fabulous shots. My son who wasn't really looking forward to having his picture taken, actually had fun and couldn't believe it went so fast. I am grateful to KJay Photography for capturing this milestone in my sons life. I absolutely treasure the photos and my daughter can not wait until her turn this summer!

Ron photographed our outdoor wedding at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens this past July. Our wedding…read morewas a very intimate, immediate family only wedding of about 22 people or so. Our wedding would be very simple with no decor, matching bridesmaids, etc, so we wanted to make sure we found a photographer that was great at capturing people since our wedding was going to be all about our families. Ron did an excellent job photographing our wedding! He captured how intimate the ceremony was from many different creative angles and did a great job capturing the character of our family members in the photos. Our bride and groom portraits turned out gorgeous as well. We were extremely happy with the photographs, all our friends and families gushed over how beautiful the photos turned out and the candid moments he caught on camera. Ron is a great guy to work with. In addition to being a great photographer with a good eye for color and composition, he also helps make you feel more comfortable in front of the camera and is great with the guests. Our families loved him and thought he was great. In addition, he was also extremely discreet during the ceremony, I honestly didn't notice him through the whole thing and was surprised about all the locations he had taken pictures from without me even noticing he was there. We're very glad we decided to hire Ron. He was the right photographer for us and I don't think we could have found anyone better to capture our day. We would definitely recommend him for wedding photography.

I was worried we wouldn't be able to shoot what we wanted, but Ron agreed to come two hours early the day of so that we could get our pictures before the rain started. He followed the storms on his phone so we were able to clean up and hop in the car just as the first rain drops started to fall! Even our guests commented on how many great shots he was getting during the reception. The photos turned out beautifully and I am so happy that we decided to hire Ron. I would highly recommend him!

They took their time with us, were great with the distracted dogs and the pictures were wonderful. We came back 2 days later because we forgot to use our coupons (I guess the dogs were not the only ones distracted) and they were super accommodating even though we didn't have our receipts AND when we tipped the young girl cash, she placed it into the common tip jar. There is a lot of competition for photography in that area, but I would definitely go back to Abe's.

Additionally we would receive a 10% military discount before tax was added. However my bill has a random charge of $100 added and then another random charge of $118. So what was supposed to cost us under $300 cost us over $500. The pictures were GOOD. We would've paid $500 and thought we were getting a good deal, but we don't appreciate the blatant lying in regard to the cost. Feels like a bait & switch. I do want to compliment the photographers. We had a large group which is hard enough, but 2 of the young men and the small child were autistic. It really takes a skilled professional to get them all in place and looking at the camera at the same time. Thank you for such wonderful pictures.
