I am absolutely appalled by the way my mother was treated at this dermatologist's office in which…read moreshe has been a patient with for many years. My mom has macular degeneration, which severely affects her ability to see, and when she politely asked the front desk staff for help filling out her paperwork, she was coldly told she would have to do it herself or reschedule. She did her best to fill out what she could, and while she was still trying, the receptionist loudly yelled across the waiting room asking if she was done yet. When my mom replied that she wasn't, the woman shouted back that she would need to reschedule and would be charged for a missed appointment. This public humiliation reduced my mother to tears. When she approached the front desk again to explain that she had asked for help, she was told it wasn't their problem. My mother left heartbroken and embarrassed, slamming the clipboard down and vowing not to return. To add insult to injury, the very next day she received a certified letter from the office stating that due to her unprofessional behavior toward the staff, they would be dismissing her from their practice and would no longer refill any of her prescriptions. The sheer cruelty and lack of compassion shown here is beyond comprehension -- especially toward an elderly patient with a disability. No one deserves to be treated this way, least of all a vulnerable, elderly patient simply asking for a little kindness and assistance. I would strongly caution anyone, especially those with special needs or elderly loved ones, to think twice before trusting this office with your care.

Though from my understanding of today they are double dipping for funds. Which is fraudulent. My insurance company heard everything that was said today. And their staff even told the owner that I had them on the phone and she completely flipped out about being recorded. That sucks for her bc they caught everything she said. And I gave them my content which here in tx u only need one person. Bet she didn't know that. And what happened is completely against the law. They charged my insurance company the main part and my other insurance was suppose to pick up the rest. They didn't even submit the other half of the insurance and told me I'd still have to pay. But it was double the number now. I even apologized for getting upset. Front desk was cool with it but the lady over the phone, still not so much. Insurance filed a massive complaint of what happened today and them refusing to see me. Which was said out loud and the recording picked it all up. So if u want them to double dip and not run the insurance properly then go to them if not find someone else in town. I am also filing a complaint with the medical board considering what happened is illegal in more than one way

They…read moreare unable to answer questions pertaining to billing, scheduling, etc. If you ask to speak with the office Manager or billing manager, you are told that they don't have either. If that is the case, then no wonder the employees are clueless. I had a wonderful experience with the doctor, but due to the many times that I have had to deal with his incompetent staff, I will not be returning.
