I called to pay my invoice within 30 days and they upcharged my gas from 2.99 gallon to 3.29 a gallon against the terms in their invoice. I tried to discuss the definition of Net 30 with their less than understanding office staff who argued with me about what Net 30 means. They denied the definition and instead argued with me. I would have gladly split the difference with them. I guess the only privately owned gas company in town has no desire to keep new customers.

I am sitting in my house with no heat for the 2nd time in two months. 198 gallons was delivered in…read moreDecember once the tank went dry as Freeman was supposed to come out and fill it up. They did not. So, it was filled. We had renters come for Christmas and New Years. We then had renters come during MLK weekend. 120 gallons was delivered again (supposedly) on January 21st. No renters between now and then. However, tank is completely dry again. I drove over from Raleigh to see what was going on. I can't get Freeman to say when they would be able to come out and deliver gas after calling in twice. I then decided to just drive to the local office since I couldn't get anyone on the phone who understood anything. When I went to the local office, the woman (she was very nice) said she was brand new and couldn't really help since she didn't truly know what she was doing. So, unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I had to get rid of Freeman and have a new company coming out today to install their tank and get my heat back on. Freeman could care less and was not able to help. Freeman was much better before they were acquired.

We are moving to the area and ordered a 1000 gallon underground propane from Wigley Propane. The…read moretanks are back-ordered (as are many items un these times) but the staff at Wigley have been very helpful and we think this family owned operation merits our business. We purchased propane for our RV twice at Wigley. The price was competitive with other retail propane suppliers. On our most recent stop for RV propane we arrived right at closing time. The staff were literally walking out the door as we arrived. The owner, Jeff, stayed a few more minutes to fill our tank and was that ever appreciated! That night was going to be the coldest night of the season and we didn't want to be without our generator, water heater and furnace. Thanks again for the courteous service.
