What a dream move. Finally, a moving company where 'professional' as part of their commitment is a…read morereality. I needed to move a 15x10' storage locker from Western PA to Florida. The day before, a member of the company met me at the storage unit, and said I needed to do nothing. The next day, a 3-man team showed up within 15 minutes of the expected time, and within 2 hours everything was loaded onto the truck. Once the truck was weighed, I got a call that the move would cost me $700 less -- when does that happen? Eight days later, the truck, and the same crew arrived on a Saturday at 7:59 AM, one minute earlier than I had been told two days before. And within 3 hours everything was unloaded, a desk re-assembled, and many boxes of books and bookcases carried up stairs to the second floor. Never a complaining word; the team just did their job. I should mention that even the pins for the bookcases were removed and wrapped. Nothing was lost. I cannot recommend this company more highly -- and they are not restricted to the South Hills of Pittsburgh despite their name. They move nationwide. I'm still missing a small item (about the size of a liter bottle; sentimental & valuable) that was in my garage prior to the move, but can't 100% prove it was taken. Cost was better than others, so I guess you can say you get what you pay for. My move was over a year ago as I gave some time to try to locate the missing item before writing my review.

I had a million questions and I was very worried about the move, she was very patient with me and walked me through each step, calmed me down. No hidden fees, everything's listed on the quote and if you have any doubt, ask Shannon and she can clear all your doubt out. On the day of my move, the crew arrived on time and were super efficient. All three of them were all very kind and they paid a close attention to the furnitures and all the fragile stuff. As I said, highly recommend. We hired this company to pack and move our things in July of 2021. After the truck left our old address, the movers took more than an hour to arrive at the destination which couldn't have been more than a 5 minute drive away. When the movers finally did come back with the truck, they were drinking sodas, so we assumed they just went to lunch. Nothing wrong there -- it was noon and people have to eat. However, at the end of the day they charged us for the hour they were at lunch (see attached photos). At the end of the move when we were unpacking, we saw that the movers had significantly damaged many of our possessions including our printer, an office chair, an office desk, kitchen supplies, our TV console, and had lost many items including the screws needed to reassemble our bed frame. The movers took no responsibility and just told us to search for the lost items in the old apartment (which did not have the missing items). Unfortunately we did not get an upgraded insurance policy as we did not expect a $240/hr company to be this bad at their work. We naively believed that a company with glowing reviews on the internet could do their jobs correctly. Nonetheless, we decided we would settle for the $0.60/lb reimbursement. After nearly a month before we finally got ahold of Prime Moving again for reimbursement, they simply denied that their movers had done the damage and refused to reimburse us for more than $100 for having caused nearly $500 of damage. Apparently if you don't take before and after photos of everything you own, they can just deny that their workers did anything wrong. It's truly a shame that this company won't stand by the quality of their work.

I was extremely disappointed with the experience and the owner/ lead man in charge. He walked in and without any regard for empathy or difficulty of the process, he started immediately looking at stuff in the house telling me it was worthless and repeatedly how extremely costly this would be. I couldn't care less about an auction. This is a major life transition that requires care and empathy not a focus on items to make their business more money. I felt so uncomfortable and since then he's repeatedly reached out to me asking about moving forward despite me never indicating a desire to. I left a review and it was slightly negative on a different cite and he actually called to see if it was me who left the review, which is not only unprofessional, but crosses a major line.

In that time, he told me he wouldn't send anyone because (he claimed) I was unwilling to pay the 4h minimum despite my having arranged with the salesperson that I would. I only needed a mattress moved and was willing to pay the full amount, but went ahead and figured it out myself when by 8:50, no one was there and I needed to leave my house to get dinner. Mike then refused to get the mover a ride home -- he didn't have a car -- so I gave the poor guy a ride back his house. I was going to pay for a 2 person team, and was sent one person three hours past the end of their arrival window, by a manager who tried to refuse me service. I'll be trying to get my deposit back.
