Ray taught about the various ways to put together your own med kit, how each item is used, demonstrated applying a tourniquet, properly packing and dressing a wound, applying a chest seal, and then he instructed us as we applied tourniquets to ourselves and others. We also learned about various techniques to securely move/drag a buddy to safety, if needed. We also packed a dummy wound with simulated blood flow. This part was extremely valuable because the simulated blood kept us aware of how to actually stop the flow with proper finger placement, using enough gauze, and finally applying enough pressure. The class gave me the information and training to now feel a lot more confident and competent in being able to properly stop a bleed with gauze and/or a tourniquet as well as even possibly continuing to defend myself or others in worst case scenarios. I plan to continue to learn more about medical and to keep practicing these skills. Even if you don't carry a firearm for work and/or CCW, I recommend at least taking his 4 hr stop the bleed course. It is vital information that can save a life whether that be from a training accident, traffic collision, a fall from hiking, etc...

I tried to wait patiently the last time but got discouraged and left. Apparently they don't care either. I explained to the lady at her desk next to the front door that I couldn't wait any longer because there's to many other places I could take my business to. My feeling is that this family owned business with which seems like at least 10 employees (including office staff) have unfortunately lost all care and concern for new Customers. I gave the 2 stars because I also bought my gun there the month prior. But even then I never felt appreciated. The whole staff, they wander around doing their own thing and completely ignore walk-ins. Got a question, take a #. Never again will I return to this store and I would not recommend them to anyone.

They were able to provide real life situations, answer any questions, and made it fun for everyone. This was the best class to attend to learn the basics of handgun safety and usage. I came with my partner after spending the day at the outlets near Palm Springs. We arrived pretty close to closing, and even then, it was such an amazing experience. I finally got the Bass Pro hats I've been dreaming about, and honestly, this is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in. They literally have everything for the outdoors; fishing, camping, road trips, hiking... if you need it, they probably have it. They even sell boats! There was a shooting range, archery equipment, grills, snacks, a restaurant, sweets, and so much more. I could have spent hours exploring. And the prices?! An absolute STEAL!! I was shocked seeing hats for $5.99 and $9.99. How?! We also grabbed their BBQ chips, and they were chef's kiss. The employees were very friendly. The cashier who helped us was incredibly kind. She did spend quite a while helping the customer in front of us, and my partner and I were joking that it looked like love at first sight between them. It made for a funny moment while we waited. One important heads-up: Apple Pay is currently not working. When we visited on July 3, 2026, the cashier told us it might not be fixed for a few months. We tried the food there for the first time. I got the fish and chips and some sides. The fish and chips were great, the fries were hard as a rock, the gator bites with the dip was delicious and the spinach dip was just ok. Cold, refreshing beer and the service was great. It is on the expensive side when it comes to all the pricing but the quality is definitely all there and for the most part worth it. It's worth stopping by if ever in the area.

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire day. The Highlights: - Great Discounts: They offer a $10 discount for medical professionals. With a lot of Filipinos in the medical field who love exercising their Second Amendment rights, this was a massive hit with our group. - The Steel Gallery is a Must: We started in a private lane but lost some time setting up paper targets. Pro-tip: The ground is hard, so hammering stakes takes some effort, and definitely don't use PVC pipes if you are shooting shotguns! If coming on a weekend, go early morning. Moving over to the steel targets completely saved the day. There is nothing more satisfying than hearing that crisp **"PING!"** every time you land a hit. Family & Fellowship: While the guys had a great time, the ladies actually had an absolute blast. They took over the line shooting rifles, shotguns, and various pistols we brought along.
