She made sure I was happy with the color before she painted them. She created a custom color based on what I was looking for. I would definitely come back the next time I need my nails done.

Retention has been standard 2-3 weeks with no chipping or other issues for gel full set. The one thing I'd like to call out is during peak hours sometimes you will have to wait 20 mins (even with appt), so it's strongly suggested you try to call in for an appt during those busy hours. Pricing runs about equal to other nail places in area. My gel fill ins are $50 + $5 for shape. They also offer a membership option where you can rack up points in exchange for money off of services. 10/10!!

Add to the fact that this is a woman owned, minority owned business that has clientele of all kinds, and it is a winner for me! Michele Callender is a trained cosmetologist, and has an eye for detail and design. Looking around her shop, one will notice that she has style and definitely cares about what her customers experience. Her shop is very clean, and COVID-19 protocols are strictly adhered to. Michele is meticulous with everything she does, from the time you walk into her shop, until the time you leave. After checking in via the Vagaro app, I was greeted at the door by Michele and escorted to her intimate and modern salon. It is perfect for a one-on-one private session of pampering. Yet, no one seemed to care that I was going to have to wait at least 30 minutes. This was a Sunday afternoon, and they open at noon. I had received a confirmation from the salon for my appointment time. WHY would you start a client, knowing you have a fairly regular client coming in in 15 minutes? I live in Lexington, and I drove 25 minutes to get to the salon. I make appointments for a reason...I have other things to do. I do not show up late for them. My cuticles grow fairly fast, so they also needed to be trimmed, and during this, my manicurist nicked my cuticles on numerous fingers- causing them to bleed. The manicurist was aware of it and apologized throughout the appointment. The manicure also wasn't the cleanest job I've had either. She was still very apologetic for my cuticles, and gave me a coupon for my next visit to make it right, acknowledging that this is not a normal experience.
