Customer service is terrible, the way they speak to you is very condescending. They added a driver to my policy and pulled an extra 300 out of my account without speaking to me at all. But To remove said person they want to snail mail me a form.to sign and return. Bridgette said she could remove him immediately but then dhe got mad (because I returned her snotty attitude she was giving me) and then said she wasn't going to help me I needed to wait for the mail like its the 1900s,apparently email isnt an option. Wow! I am very impressed with Progressive... all of those commercials aren't in vain! My car got hit awhile back by a person who had Progressive and I was dreading having to deal with them, as they are known for offering insurance at a lower cost. Actually, I had Progressive back when I first moved to the city and couldn't afford the plan offered by my former carrier. Naturally, I assumed that affordable insurance meant that they were crappy to deal with, which wasn't the case with this Progressive service center at all! The rep who was put on this case set up an appointment for me to visit this location in Earth City. I was under the impression that I was just going to stop by and get pics taken of the damage to my car and they'd provide a list of auto body shops where I could get it fixed. Instead, they took the car, put me in a sweet rental (that was paid for!), and promised that my car would be fixed within a few days. That was Monday and it's now Thursday - my car is looking way better inside and out! I almost didn't want to return the Dodge Charger (black with tinted windows!) that I was driving around, but I couldn't leave my Sonata behind :) The same gal who helped me on Monday was there to greet me this morning - it was nice to have the same person helping me through the process. She was pleasant and easy to deal with all-around. Major props to Progressive for a job well done. Am considering switching back to them. read more

Our experience here was so positive that I plan to call progressive and get quotes. Professional. Soo Friendly. Efficient. Clean and organized room. Held the door open & greeted us by name on the way in. I felt like I was in a staged commercial . The accident was on Thursday afternoon. Progressive called us friday. Drove to their front door in fender bender car & left it there at 5 . Rental was there & waiting. Drove it home. All in less than 24 hours. So many little things they did just right. read more

I turned my car into the Progressive Service Center last week for a repair that they said would take about two weeks to complete. They got my car back to me a few days earlier than expected, and were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Everyone I spoke to explained what was expected from me, listened patiently to my questions, and told me they'd be happy to do anything they could to make my car repair process go as smoothly as possible. They called a cab for me as soon as I arrived to drop my car off (they also have a car rental service next door but I wasn't using that) and offered me snacks and drinks after my simple paperwork was complete, while I waited for the cab. Their customer service is top-notch and the office is clean and comfortable. read more

Progressive has some of the worst claims associates I have ever had the pain of working with, namely Jonathan. His managers Justin and Steve are even worse. They are rude and incompetent, none of them listen when spoken to. This is the worst customer service I have had in my life. Because of them I have now switched insurance companies. read more

I have a 8-9 month old Toyota Rav4 that was involved in a lane change accident. It was my fault, I rubbed down the side of another car. This is my first accident in probably 20 years. Everything went fine for the repair. I was happy until I tried to rub off a water spot..... It wasn't a water spot it was a .25 inch horizontal dent/scratch. Upon closer examination there was a 4x2 ish inch area in front of the scratch that the clear coat was rubbed off and a faint scratch in the plastic around molding all just behind rear drivers side wheel. I requested Progressive look at this in person with me. Adjuster said his manager has determined it was a door ding if I wanted to take up with him call him, I did. I was informed there was no need for them to look at, the repair shop didn't know anything, it was a door ding and I needed to get over it. I ask to speak to the manager's supervisor. The manager did then say if I felt it was necessary he would meet me. I declined, felt I wouldn't get a truly fair evaluation of my situation at this point. To date I have left 7 message for the manager's supervisor. I got a voice mail several days ago saying this is a closed case. I have yet to speak to the manager's supervisor. As of this writing I have ask three different people to meet with me to look at my car in person. I have offered to go to bring my car to them to look at. No one thinks I am important enough to talk to in person. I'm beginning to wonder if it's my age, I am 57. Old enough to start to be concerned about just changing insurance companies, especially now that I have an accident on my record. The next web site I am going to is Missouri Insurance Commission. I don't like writing these kind of reviews and having to take further action but Progressive is leaving me no choice. So much for customer service. Can't be bothered to meet with or return a call from a customer of 20 years. read more

I had hail damage on both of my cars, dents all over. I called progressive, they opened the claim and called me back saying I had to go to this service center, wasted almost 2 hours there so they could check the cars and then the service estimator representative was very rude and unprofessional trying to tell me whether or not I should go to a dealer to get another estimate and I also heard the conversation he had with another employee to try to persuade me to fix the car there by lowering the estimate amount, so my check would be lower. Then I clearly said I did not want the check until I was able to get another estimate and he kind of pretended he did not hear me and went ahead and printed the check anyway (only for one car, why not both cars?), then told me I should not care about going to a dealer and then said that his estimate was not very accurate and that the amount could go up if they end up having to replace parts which is obviously not considered in his ridiculous estimate he gave me, probably because he did not want to give me a check for the real amount. The experience was the worst possible. I had a similar issue with hail a few years ago in 2014, exactly in the same parking spot in the same residence and I had a civic 2012 car worth 15K USD, another insurance company gave me a check for almost 9K USD and now I take two cars there, with a very similar damage because they were exactly on the same parking spot, hail size was similar back then, now both cars worth more than 40K USD and Progressive offers me a check for 3K USD on a 2017 car worth 27K USD and then 2.5K USD on the other 2016 car worth 15K USD? I am not stupid. I could clearly see the representative was not very happy when I told him I was going to a dealer and again, I heard the other employee, saying he should try whatever it takes to make me fix the car there when it is weather related. Please do not buy progressive insurance and if possible avoid this service center because they are not professional and behave unethically to persuade you to service your car there. I lost all the trust and I think they would probably do a very cheap job to get the car fixed, there was actually another lady there complaining that her car had a lot of noise after the car was serviced there. read more

As I have seen from other reviews this place does have great service with the front desk employees. It's quick and you'll be out of there in no time but... I took my car there and they brought it back not to my satisfaction. They neglected to fix and replace some things properly and overlooked some damage. I had to do this several times. None of the shops they took the car to were certified to work on Mercedes Benz or other German models. They weren't very experienced with working with these type of vehicles. They changed my windshield and broke several parts that needed to be removed before the windshield can be removed. Their supervisor seriously tried to blame me and stated that I broke them. WOW Really then why are the parts specifically damaged at the removal points. (i.e. screw points and tabs.) It was just a huge hassle every time they missed something that guy found some unreasonable illogical way to put blame on me or say that it was originally like that when in their pictures it is not even close. He was wrong every time because the shops saw the errors and did the best that they could to make it right only to no avail because they had no idea how to make it right in the first place. What's worse is after they eventually took my car instead of replacing the broken parts they GLUED THE PARTS TOGETHER. They left the parts broken and apparently the shop stated this was a directive by the insurance company... I couldn't believe such incompetence and unprofessionalism. The insurance company still refuse to change the parts. Which their lifetime guarantee promises would not be an issue. They refuse to return my calls and make this right. Currently looking into small claims right now.. My point. If possible don't use this service. Take it to a reputable repair shop that is certified by the manufacture of your car and get a rental car yourself. Don't get sucked into this by the insurance company, get it don't right and your way not theirs. The companies they are contracted with to work on your car are inexperienced and aren't certified to work on many different makes. It really isn't worth the good service done by their front desk employees. I would rather have the worst customer service and a well repaired car than the shoddy jerry rigging I got from these people. read more

Worst service EVER. I don't carry Progressive insurance (now I know why) but the lady who hit my car does. Initially everything seemed fine, dropped the car off, they gave me a rental. However, I discovered that some things were stolen out of my car while being serviced; then their repair of my front tire was not done correctly and the tire went flat and would not hold air. They told me too bad on the stolen items (you sign a form stating that nothing valuable is in the car when you drop it off, and the items weren't "valuable" but were stolen anyway) apparently they feel this gives them license to steal with no consequence. They sent a tow truck for my car to repair the tire, and told me it would be done that day. Well, it wasn't, so I am stuck with no vehicle, and no idea when they will return my car. They SUCK. Liars and thieves. DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVICE CENTER. read more
