I am only half way through processing and the experience has been perfect. They made me getting in an accident that wasn't my fault an extreme pleasure. First of all, the next day, they were on the phone with me to ask if I was ok and were ready to set an appointment to get my car repaired. No challenges, no low-balling, no dragging schedules. Amazing. I was scheduled within a week and that's with a 3 day weekend factored in. I had phone and in-person interactions with this company and the service people were overly courteous and gracious. They were good humored and good-natured. They gave me directions and instructions right down to inviting me to get a soft drink and snack from their lobby area before I sat down to wait for the processing of service and rental car. I was amazed that they lent me a car just like mine (better, actually), so I left smiling and perhaps a little giddy. Kenneth made me feel like royalty. It's a sad thing these days that people have to fee suspicious when you get good service. I'm on to them though. Being a body shop owner for 45 years in central Fla. I came across the most unprofessional adjuster that I have ever spoken with . Mrs Powell at claims is the nastiest person I have dealt with in the 40+ years of doing business with insurance companies , and I have dealt with a few . Totally refused to answer some questions that did not have to do with the particular job at hand , just general questions , said she did not know some of the basics of writing estimates . This is who they have representing them , someone that knows nothing and apparently has had a lack of training . She has a very nasty attitude and hung up on me , maybe she was having a bad day , but should not take it out on others . read more

Do not use this theft of an insurance company!! They are thieves!!!! They tripled my son's insurance premium because of excluded drivers. Drivers that are not on his policy, don't drive his car, and have zero to do with the policy. They are charging my son $100 less than we pay for 5 vehicles on another policy for excluded drivers. The premium was $410/month and they said they can raise rates whenever they feel like it and raised the rate to $1100/month. No tickets, no accidents!!! I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I have never made a claim. I'm the only driver of my vehicle in my household. My stepson doesn't even ride in my car he is an adult with his own car and insurance. They added him to my account and sent me an email telling me. I called to remove him and they are only refunding part of my money. I got billed yesterday 6-19-25 today I called to remove him 6-20-25. They are keeping 40.34 dollars. They just lost a customer that pays their premium 2 times a year, never had an accident, and your underwriting told me "well if you feel you need to cancel due to the 40.34 we will send you to cancelation:" Question Progressive what's it cost to obtain a customer? How many people will I be telling about this poor business decision by your company? I can tell you a lot of people. I will never have progressive again ever. One of Progressives drivers struck my wifes car. After 2 weeks in the shop they decided to total the vehicle. We settled on a price that was fair, and I turned in my keys and ownership and they wrote me a check for the vehicle. After depositing the check, having the money in my account for 3 days, I put a down payment on another car and was going to drive to another state to purchase it on that Saturday. Friday, Progressive stopped their payment and took the money back. They stated they made an error in the valuation and offered to give me HALF of what we agreed too. I spent the day trying to reason with them, but basically I was told too bad, take what they offered or nothing at all. They had my truck, which was still drivable, and I was stuck with no choice but to take their backwards deal, not even mentioning that I don't have the money to buy a vehicle I already put $2,300 dollars down on that is not refundable. This is how Progressive does business, and I warn anyone reading this to beware, they are not a reliable company, and they're business practices are shady. read more

After ten years with no claims on our RV we experienced an issue with the roof and progressive would not cover the claim. We took extra precautions to minimize further damage to the roof while traveling back home wasting time and additional money. Poor coverage for RV insurance and do not reccomend. read more

Getting into an accident is never fun. We were headed home on 295 when I saw some traffic starting to back up near the 103rd street exit, so I moved on over to the left hand lane to give folks some room. Then we heard a BOOM! While I didn't see what happened, I guess someone rear ended a car in the right lane, which bumped the car in the middle lane, right into my cat-mobile. After checking to make sure the lady that his us was ok, I hopped on the phone to progressive, and they were really helpful (and calming) and walked me through the process. They called me a few days later to schedule a time for an estimate and repairs. The estimate was super quick, and took all of 10 minutes. I was quoted repairs would take 7 days to complete, so we scheduled a drop off date. They have an Enterprise rentals on site, and being a progressive customer (since 2006 baby!) I got a sweet discount on the rental... and even an upgrade, since they didn't have an economy car on the lot. I get a phone call maybe 2 days later, telling me my car was going to take an extra 7 days (14 days!) to complete... and I was heartbroken. I have meetings and events to host, and I didn't really want to pay for a rental for that long.... But, not much I can do, I thought... Until the very next day.. I got a phone call telling me my car was ready! Not sure where the disconnect was on the estimated repair time, but I was getting my car back way earlier than I thought, so I didn't really care! And it was perfect. The customer service inside was always super friendly... and even reached out to the person handling my claim remotely to make sure they got in touch with me about a question I had. They also have a popcorn machine and Kcup station inside, if you have to wait a little bit for service, you can at least have a cup of tea or coffee and a snack. Thank you Progressive, for making a scary experience a relatively easy one to fix! read more

Progressive attempted to repair my car three times. The first attempt was a complete joke. I had to document 12 pages worth of shoddy work in order to get it reworked on. The second time around, they still completely missed fixing the crooked drivers seat. I told them about it again and they straightened it out some, but it is still off. I informed them that it is not straight, and they are now telling me there is nothing they can do about it and that it is within factory specifications. I spoke with the manager who told me there is nothing else he can do and that he is "is at his wits end." Folks, if you want a headache and constant back and forth battles on how to properly fix your car, then this is the company for you. If you want your car fixed correctly, I highly recommend you find a company who will listen to your needs and make the repairs as needed. The employees at the front desk are nice, but that doesn't help when the people doing and authorizing the work can't fix your car correctly. read more

So no one is ever excited about getting into a car accident, but living in Florida, it's bound to happen right!? Well guess what, it happened. I came here for my repairs and they also have rentals on sight so two thumbs up for the "one stop shop" The employees are very chatty but they are also very polite so that didn't bother me. They offer the bomb-diggity of refreshments including fresh popped popcorn (which my niece and nephew still talk about) coloring activities for the kids, bottled drinks to take with, and complimentary reusable bags which are my fav. The best part was the entire process of checking in and checking out took a matter of 10 minutes LITERALLY! Well, I have been with Progressive for (probably) a total of 15 yrs of my entire life..... They are wonderful at taking the auto monthly withdrawal out of my account. No problemo there.... but when it came to actually helping me in my ONLY time of NEED in my entire driving life, they screwed me to the MAX!!! At age 53 I had been in the ONLY car accident in my ENTIRE LIFE OF DRIVING (53-16..... 37 YEARS!!!). It was deemed my fault because I (guess) I swerved to avoid falling debris from a work truck in front of me. I really don't remember anything because my car was being hit multiple times on the 5 Freeway. My car is totaled, I am lucky to be alive. When I called PROGRESSIVE for a tow for my car they said "Oh, yes Ma'am. That will be $175." I said "What???" I have roadside assistance included in my policy. I have used it maybe twice in my life for a dead battery situation. She said that there is some "technical" difference between a "disabled" car and a car that has been in an accident. I said "What is the difference?" A tow is a tow is a tow. She said the difference is $175 and was not able to explain further. "That is just the way it is"..... When I bought a new, used 10 yr old car (modest 4 dr. Saturn Sedan) and got my policy renewal notice my rate more than DOUBLED to almost $200/mo. For a 53 yr. old woman with one accident in her life (which I chock up to an unfortunate occurrence due to flying debris, but was still deemed my fault). Talk about adding insult to injury. I will start shopping immediately for a new provider. If anyone reading this has any suggestions, please let me know!!! This place sets the bar pretty high for courteous professional service. The workmanship is even higher. Had a minor accident with my truck and another car. The insurance claim handled everything smoothly-from I dropping the truck off, getting a rental, and picking my truck. The customer service personnel were superb. My truck repair was perfect. ZERO STARS Had to give a star or wouldn't post! NEVER USE THEM SHADY! Horrible Customer Service! Bad work! Had my car at facility, they had to replace tire and tried to tell me my tire was old and that I would have to cover part of it. After I pointed out tires not even 20days old they just said oh. Picked up car grease and grime on steering wheel, doors, and other spots of interior. I had to clean the girl just said oh no. Drove home car pulling to right take it back. A week!! YES a week later they had an alignment done and told me oops it was ready that same day. So when I vent the manager is very rude a and bothered that I'm complaining. Pick up car manager or employees don't help get stuff out of rental, no one apologizes NOTHING!!!! Guess what! Car still pulls!!!! So not only made me wait, rude, tried to scam me, they didn't even fix it!!! read more
