Given adamant instructions about my cleaning journey, I paid $190 fee to be told I wasn't to be seen. I expressed my annoyance for differing from his prior instructions, I asked for the refund and a rescheduled appointment. He abruptly interrupted me and told me to continue my exams ONLY with my original dentist. He ran out scurrying into a locked side room. I was dumbfounded by this egotistical and cowardly behaviour. His ego was so shattered and his assistant was standing there in shock; she was getting my x-rays transferred from dentist office. The office would not let me have any paperwork except a refund receipt. When I got my cleaning, I paid for the mouthguard. When I got my scans for the mouthguard, I was scheduled an appointment for pick up in January because that's the soonest that it would be available, and confirm that I was paid. When I checked out after picking up my mouthguard, I was told that I still owed. The claim was not put through until January because that's when I picked it up and the price increased by 160%. At no time when I made the appointments, checked out, paid for the mouthguard, or made the appointment for pick up, was I told that this would not be filed until January. I did discuss when I made the appointments that my insurance in 2026 was not as good and they cheered me on for making the appointment in December and paying in cash. Whether this was shady practices to get more money, or lack of training for those who schedule, sit reception/checkout, do the scans, those I interacted with multiple times, I don't know. They will not refund what I paid. So now I'm not only out that money, but the mouthguard. Be careful when they are soliciting appointments. Make sure they are charging your insurance timely and correctly.

As he was doing them he told me I would feel a pinch and the assistant kept saying aha, aha. I had to go to an endodontist to get a root canal on the correct tooth. I went back to Dr Sood's office to get a refund since he did the incorrect tooth, he would not do so. It was not a good experience for me.

One of the keys to customer service is making sure you communicate and don't over promise your customer they failed on that count. Don't trust what they tell you on the phone!!!
