My single Uncle was happy living in the independent apartment at Kahala Nui. He met and made many good friends there and used the gym/weight room, pool, library, and dining area facilities. Once in awhile we were able to dine in to use his meal credit when I visited him. Great service and wonderful people. As several years has passed, his health was deteriorating and it made it difficult for him to live on his own and was in intermediate to assistant living care. Just recently he was in hospice and hung in for a month. Sad to say he has passed this week. I also had a dear church friend in Hospice on the same floor this year. I'm just impressed by the outstanding service by the Head social worker Jackie and The Assistant Lisa to the Head nurse Chelsea who made my Uncle comfortable and loved while being away from siblings and friends during the Covid Pandemic! They were like family to him to his last remaining days. Thank you for your excellent care and service! I'm sure my Uncle was truly blessed living at Kahala Nui!

You're misinformed by listening to well intentioned family, relatives, friends and acquaintances and totally uninformed thinking you can believe and listen to Social Security or Medicare personnel. They're not responsible for misleading you or giving you false information, you are responsible for yourself. The Medicare guide is nearly 1/2" thick with some information like an overview not all information and elderly seniors like myself have a limited capacity to retain and comprehend everything I read. You need an EXPERT who knows the Medicare system and all the supplements which you may qualify for or actually need to supplement original Medicare depending on your situation. My uninformed friends thinking Medicare is sufficient until they see the bill or the cost of prescriptions and there are prescriptions they don't cover at all. Like the saying goes "it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it" and supplemental coverage may be exactly what you need and never knew you needed it. Vance is a professional individual, intelligent and honest person who will help you navigate the Medicare marketplace and answer any questions. The objective of this facility is to rehabilitate people in a healthy, friendly, loving and professional manner. Physical therapy and occupational therapy is offered daily. There are many social activities including religious, games,.exercise music and entertaient, animal interaction and the list goes on. The views are spectacular and the many lanais offer fresh air and sunshine. Our discharge interview was thorough and informational involving many departments of this facility.
