I am so happy and a small weight has been lifted off my shoulders. We live so far I worry and dad refuses to move in with us.

They give you a binder that they use to communicate her vitals, and how much she ate and drank that day, and any other issues that occurred, which is very helpful. Likewise, I can use the binder to let them know anything to look out for. They have always done their best to accommodate us when I need to bring her for extra days. Everyone is very friendly and they are fluent in English and Japanese. Since mom is a nisei, it was nice to see something click inside her when the staff spoke to her in Japanese! They backed down after we threatened to get a lawyer involved. Save yourself grief. Do not hire this company. The fact that they would consider NOT firing someone who purposefully put on a blindfold so she could sleep on duty speaks volumes.
