Shane set me up with car and home insurance over the phone/ through email correspondence. He really understood my needs and made sure I was covered with, at minimum, the insurance I previously had. He recommended and explained to me what he felt was missing from my old policy but didn't make me feel pressured at any point in time. He was thorough and detailed oriented, and I felt confident and comfortable that he set me up for success. Flash forward to present day. Glory called me to set up a meeting with Ross, which I did. Having purchased a condo in Honolulu, I needed insurance but was clueless. Two friends suggested two different agents (both State Farm). Neither one returned my calls. After waiting a week, I was in a panic mode and looked on Yelp and found Ross. His quick response was great. He answered all my questions and offered his advice on what I needed for a homeowners policy with amazing efficiency. I had my policy immediately. Unfortunately I was not able to move back to Hawaii. Ross became my State Farm agent when my previous agent retired after 30 years as my agent. I was skeptical at first, but stayed with Ross because he is in the downtown area and very convenient. Ross is amazing. The first thing he did was review all my policies and tell me where I could save money. Awesome! He also gave me some straight forward info about possible life insurance policies (which I didn't buy). Recently he has been trying to find another company that will provide us with short term rental insurance in another state because he doesn't have a policy to offer. How great! These guys are great. I called them randomly out of all the options of State Farm reps on Oahu and I'm glad I did. They worked with me making policy adjustments so I could see the cost difference for different coverage limits. In just a couple days of short interactions they got me the great business liability coverage I was looking for at a surprisingly good deal. It's hard to find good customer service in Hawaii sadly, but these guy were top notch. I didn't do auto insurance with them because I already have, so I cannot comment on auto policy prices, but I'm sure you'll have a great experience communicating with their office and receiving their assistance. For you under 25 looking for a good car insurance you can trust and especially if you're still new to "adulting" this is the place for you. I heard all about State Farm and how good it is but until now I never understood what goes on. I called for the first time and Glory Tan was very helpful and clear, she spoke in a way where I understood everything especially being so new to car insurance. The office is even better, I was in a rush to get car insurance for my new car but I had to get proper insurance documents and good thing for Shane and Glory for helping me out on that part.
