These people truly care about the animal!! Not trying to make money. I've brought all of my cats to them and always willing to help.

Educate yourself before you tell anyone else not to spay a lactating cat because they can no longer nurse their kittens.

The low cost, convenience, knowledgeable and caring staff make it possible for me to rescue and rehome strays which is my calling.

Also was owed a $75 refund when I came back early to pick up my animal that had been boarded and poorly cared for. Was told to come by for my money which I was overcharged, however when they found out I was taking my business elsewhere, they refused to give me the money they owed me. I wouldn't take a rat to this place. Unprofessional care and thievery. What a sham.

From routine visits to his final moments, the compassion, professionalism, and integrity shown by Dr. Wansky (Harpers Doctor), Dr. Hiland, Dr. Fellows, and the entire staff were nothing short of extraordinary. Just shy of his 14th birthday, Harper began showing signs of distress--excessive thirst and urination. Dr. Wansky promptly ran diagnostic tests and diagnosed him with diabetes. Understanding the financial strain that long-term care can bring, she worked closely with us to find a more affordable treatment plan without compromising his well-being. Two months later, Harper's condition worsened. He stopped eating and drinking, and we returned to the clinic for further testing. We were awaiting results when, on Friday night, Harper's health declined rapidly his breathing became labored, and he cried out in pain with movement. By Saturday morning, we knew it was time. We arrived at the clinic before the final test results were in. The staff welcomed us with empathy and professionalism, creating a space of peace and dignity for Harper and our family. Dr. Wansky reviewed the bloodwork, which was inconclusive, and gently explained that a tumor was likely the cause of his suffering. She and her team took exceptional care of Harper in his final moments, and we will never forget the compassion she showed as he drew his last breath. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Wansky and the entire team at Allatoona Animal Hospital. Their unwavering commitment to the Veterinarian's Oath "to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering" was evident in every interaction. Unlike others we've encountered, their focus was never on profit, but on honoring that oath and serving with integrity. If you are seeking a veterinary team that treats your loved ones with the same care and respect, they would their own, Allatoona Animal Hospital is the only place we would recommend. Harper may be gone, but the continued health and happiness of Ruckus and Gibson are a living testament to the outstanding care this team provides. With heartfelt appreciation, The Waters Family

Affordable Vet Center - Dog continues to get sicker

We have been going here for about 6 years and we LOVED them when we started. They were actually…read moreaffordable just like their name says. I realize that prices are higher than ever for everyone but these prices are more about profit than helping animals and their owners. The newest example is a $27.75 tech fee to give my dog an injection. They also started their own online pharmacy so now they won't answer requests from other online pharmacies. They also won't price match. I tried saving money by looking around online but now that doesn't matter. You can go by and pick up a prescription but then you have to mail it to the online pharmacies so that takes forever. I have no problems with the care my dogs have received but I feel like it's more about profit than my dogs well being now.

We really wanted to like this place, but their lack of concern regarding our situation speaks…read morelouder than words. My husband and I have grown deeply disappointed in this practice for our dog's annual care. We've been seeing Dr. Stone for a period of time, as one of our dogs has recurring sacculitis. Dr. Stone prescribed numerous antibiotics without ever offering a bacterial culture. She referred us to a local specialist who informed us that the medications that Dr. Stone had prescribed were completely inappropriate and lessened our chances of treating this issue. We were advised to discontinue immediately. We have been kindly emailing the practice with our concerns since 8/8/23 regarding this issue. We've emailed this practice a total of 7 times. Most emails were ignored, but the ones that were answered had a recurring response stating "I will talk to the practice manager tomorrow". It has been 7 weeks of reaching out and we are consistently ignored. They even ignored my husband's phone call, which was attempted on 10/6/23. Our dog only gets sicker and sicker and undergoes more and more procedures as we continue to dish out money for a preventable issue. We've invested so much time and emotional stress, to include driving out of state for care. Had we been offered bacterial cultures to ensure the right antibiotics were being prescribed, this could have been much less worse than it is. We should have known to grow suspicious when Dr. Stone flipped through a physical textbook in the exam room because she didn't know what to prescribe us (can't make this up!) The lack of concern from this practice is very disheartening.
