They serviced my yard for a couple years. During that time moss took over a lot of my front yard ~ never addressed it or even brought it up with me. When I brought it up they blamed it on part shade, said they'd apply a moss retardant but then disappeared without notice last fall. I'm all for earth friendly lawn care but based on this experience I'd say the technology isn't there yet relative to weed control and other grass problems. I requested an estimate from this company and waited for their arrival and they never showed up. However, I received an email saying they came earlier in the day. So I emailed them back and he continued to state he came even after I told him I was home and didn't see him on my cameras. Chess then proceeded to say he went to the wrong address not realizing that the address was right next door. So he finally said he would come that Monday...not to mention he continued to call me the wrong name after I kept writing my name. So I told him since he had the wrong name and address we couldn't do business. read more

I was looking for a lawn care company to replace my former company. I found Project Green's website. I liked what Project Green was doing to help the environment around people's homes. I called to have an estimate done for fertilization,weed control, seeding and aeration. The sales person responded very quickly and came to my house the same day. I'm afraid that after quite a few calls to try to make contact, a botched scheduled appointment with a technician not following written instructions and an hour late for a scheduled appointment to make up for the botched appointment, I've given up trying to use this company for tree treatment. We had another lawn service for a year and saw minimal to no improvements. Then I found Project Green and saw great results after their very first visit! They send out an email the day before they come, put a little sign in my yard to let me know they were there, and then follow up with a detailed report of what they did when they were here and let me know about areas that may need improvement-exactly what I need to do on my part...more watering, etc...They set up a watering schedule for us to go by and let us know how much to mow our lawn and on what level. We are from the west coast and all these guidelines have helped us tremendously. And, they are environmentally friendly which is a huge bonus! We wish we had found them earlier. This service is terrific....I receive an email the day before outlining the service to be done, the technician arrives and goes over what's to be done, I change what I want to, he emails directly after service and then I'm billed online.
