So I finally gathered the courage to go to a pedicure because my callouses were out of control and…read moreactually hurt me. I went to Tip Top Nails in Revere. Usually I go to a different place but I looked inside and their cleanliness wasn't up to standards so I switched to this place across from Northgate. I had gone here twice before covid but I wasn't sure how they would follow covid standards. Amazing job and sooooooooooooooooo clean. Hanging plexiglass between pedicurist and pedicure chair, plastic lined inside pedi basin. Sanitizer required when you come in and form that you sign- contact tracing/risk etc. Manicure tables seperated by suspended plastic/plexiglass and 6 ft signs on floor. Glimpsed at stations and front desk- Lysol spray and wipes present there I got a special pedicure with special stuff for callous/ legs/ etc and my feet are soo softttttttttttttttttt. So, spread the word. There was no-one in the nail place and I did make an appt. I talked with the owner and she has seen a decrease in business because of Covid. So, if you have to get a pedicure, go here! Spread the word! You will be the safest you can be in this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They do such a better job and are very very clean. I would highly recommend Tip Top Nails.

The salon, itself, is beautiful, clean, and televisions are very comfortably placed. New color palettes are thoughtfully displayed. The manicurists/ pedicurists are perfectionists who aim to please. Waxing services are also available. Bottled water is available for your comfort also. Cash, credit, checks, all accepted. Cash or check only for tip(s). Caring conversation is abundant. As a plus, a fantastic buffet is only a few doors away!

I am conflicted on this one…read more.. Came in for a walk in. They told me to come back in an hour or so. Came back told them I wanted a dip manicure. The nail tech I had was named Ha. Didn't talk much but seemed like a very nice lady. What I did like a lot: she went back multiple times with the cuticle nipper. And she went under and around my nails with a small ball shaped drill bit. But as much as I appreciated the attention to my cuticle skin, she often went too hard and hurt me. I had 4 places on my hands bleeding by the end. She also put gel over my dip which is strange to me. I purposely get dip because it's stronger and I need it in my line of work. I also do not like the UV light on my hands. I asked her about it and she said it was normal to do. When I checked out, I asked that girl if they always put gel over dip and she said yes. I travel for a living and I've just never seen that, but maybe is regional? Either way I think it's something that should be asked. At the end of the day, my nails aren't terrible. They look all right from afar, but when you look close, they are lumpy and miss shaped and I have cuts all over. There's so many good reviews that I'm confused. Am I just one of the very unlucky few? Or maybe the bad reviews are just from specific nail techs? I don't know, but I just wanted to give my honest and fair assessment of my experience. (Also no music or anything playing. That's awkward for a nail salon.)
