This was the worst nail experience I have ever had, and I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years. I got Gel-X nails done by Phuong Nguyen, and the service was extremely disappointing. During the appointment, she was hurting me throughout the process, did not properly prep my nails, and kept walking away while doing the service. The same day I got them done, three of the nails fell off. Within a week, all of them had fallen off. I paid $100 for this service, and when I reached out about what happened, they would not give me a refund or acknowledge how unacceptable the quality of the work was. For that price, I expected my nails to last and for the salon to take responsibility when they did not. I would not recommend this salon. I suggest going somewhere else where the service, quality, and customer care are taken seriously. read more

I love this place, so much I drive 1 hr and 35 min to come here ! I've been coming here for a long time on and off because I don't get my nails done much but when I do this is my go to! DO NOT BOOK!! the worst experience ever. I paid 85$ to get my toe nails done with gel so they would last for 1 month at least. My nail came off 5 days after!! I called the store the boss started talking to me with a crazy attitude and kept telling me what did I want, yelling and being rude not once apologizing for what happened. On top of that she hung up the phone and when I called again an employee ( who definitely needs a raise because she's the only one that apologized) told me that she left and she did not want to talk to me again. Pros: It was easy to get a same day appointment, tons of gel color options, very clean, and new massage chairs. My gel polish looks good. Lots of parking as well! Cons: This salon advertises that they offer a first time client discount. However, when I asked, I was told no and to use the coupon they texted me next time instead. False advertising I guess. $55 for a gel pedicure that was very average. Minimal massage (more like a lotion slather I would do at home), whole appointment felt rushed, and I was criticized for asking my nails to be as short as possible. She kept telling me it was too short. Asked for attention to the heels, but didn't get enough of the pumice. My regular salon did not have availability, so I decided to try this place since it is closer to home. Am I glad I tried? Yes. Will I be back? Unfortunately, no. This place just had their grand opening last weekend! Went in to get dip powder nails and Alana did amazing. There were plenty of colors to choose. They did not rush us or anything. Once we started, she made sure the electric file/buffer was not hurting me when she was taking off my precious dip. Every step of the way she asked to make sure it looks good to me (length, shape, color). I appreciate the process she took with me. I love how thin and sharp the dip is on my nails even after putting 3 layers of dip on because the mint color I chose was pretty opaque. The space is exceptionally big and clean; all white and spotless. They even have folded cloth towels for the sink. Fancy. I love how they have so many seats in the space so they were able to put my friend and I next to each other. Price are a little steep for Medford area, $55 to get dip nails but there was a promotion going on during their grand opening which made it more comparable to surround area prices. read more

I've been technically living in Boston since 2019 and it wasn't until July of 2022 that I found my favorite nail place in Massachusetts! Turns out it took me so long because Camellia 66 opened a week ago from this last Saturday. Picture this, you walk in, and you feel that although you are in a modern place somehow at the same time you are in a Roman like empire... I know, weird, but cool. They have plenty of pedi/ mani stations plus a VIP room for private parties! My nail tech was Wendi and my partner did his mani/pedi with Linda. They were both extremely sweet! Wendi was a good listener and made sure to cater to my needs as a customer. She did a phenomenal job with my dip manicure and regular pedi. I give this place five stars because it felt clean, nail techs were attentive, I felt I got the best mani/pedi in a while, and they had a staff member walking around with different beverages. She did such a great job,took her time but was not a typical long agonizing "nail time" that I am use to while going to other places. It ended with the best complimentary shoulder massage. I paid $40 (w/out tip) and I will definitely be back. They have a promotion going on too if you spend a certain amount you get $10 off and when you sign up to be a memeber you begin to get points for every $1 to spend. Deluxe Pedicure: do not get unless you want a full body massage in an non relaxing atmosphere. Please disclose to customers what the deluxe pedicure is as I had no idea it included a full massage, which honestly I would not have gone with this pedicure if I knew that's what it had entailed. While a full body massage may sound nice to someone, this one was not a good massage for various reasons. Is everyone trained in giving massages? Please also ask customers if employees can touch your face before doing so with product that I do not want to go on my face... Also just a general note, please do not make employees work if they are coughing.. I had to get coughed on as well with an unwanted massage. read more

1 star because my nail tech was very rough. When I left my fingers were stinging. I loved the color/shape of my nails but it was painful. My nail tech kept drilling/filing into my skin and she was aware since I kept flinching everytime she cut my finger. She didnt apologize at all or ask if I was ok. She also kept putting the oil directly onto my cut with the applicator touching my cut which worries me because that's not sanitary at all. For $70 I wouldve expected to at least leave the salon not bleeding. I get my nails done often, so I get it if 1 finger accidently gets cut but i had 3 fingers that were very visibly bleeding. read more

I really wanted to give a great review. I used to go the them when they were in Stoneham. But little by little the quality of service has been creeping down while the price goes up. This time $20.00 for regular manicure for I think 20 minutes or less of service. $40.00 if I wanted gel. The nail polish layer wasn't thick. One nail chipped the next day. There was no, "Hello, how are you." I get it their work is intense and fast paced, maybe it was a bad day. And there was no hand massage. Literally, none. Hand massage is always the greatest part of the manicure, even just a little hand lotion put on the skin is nice. I am just a regular person. This experience wasn't worth my limited financial resources. There are plenty of other places I can go. read more
