Overbilling for supposed appointments with Doctor, when I was paired with lower level PT, or intern, or passed around between lowest level assistants was very common. Overscheduling both clients and doctors is also very common between two different Proliance locations I went to. Some days it was impossible to find parking. Also observed if you're a young athlete, you'll be given 5 star treatment. However, if you're middle aged or senior, expect to be ignored almost the full duration of the appointment. I switched to another care provider on the Eastside, got the MRI I needed, and treatment that's seeing results within weeks, vs the months I wasted there. read more

I got ACL repair, Lateral Meniscus root repair, and Medial Meniscectomy 4 weeks ago through Proliance, so it was only natural to continue through their PT practice. I didn't have a preferred therapist, but I was luckily paired with Stephanie Deye, who has been the absolute best PT! Stephanie has been nothing but sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. While at my appointments, it's clear that all staff have great working relationships with each other, and the atmosphere is just very positive all around! They are also able to help each other with patients, which means availability for scheduling is better. Aside from Stephanie, I have also had the pleasure to work with Rachel C. (PTA) when Stephanie was unavailable. Overall, I've been really happy and my PT progress has been amazing! The facility is clean, and they have a variety of equipment and tools to help rehabilitation. I have been going to Proliance for the last 6 months and have had a great experience with Nicole, Rachel, Kate and other Physio therapists here. So I was shocked today when I had an early morning bike accident & called at 7:30am to postpone my 5pm appointment. Megan at the front desk informed me that I was being charged a late fee since it was a "same day cancellation & I hadn't informed them in advance". When I asked her to check if that policy applies when there is an accident or when someone is unwell, she said that because I had cancelled once 2 months back due to covid, she as the front desk lead "doesn't need to check" that this accident can be accommodated for!! Terrible attitude and shocking she thinks that accidents are pre-decided and can be informed about! Obviously the rating of this place went from 5 stars to 1. @Proliance - Please get some better front office staff to leverage the great Physiotherapists that you have. read more

A great and friendly place to come get physical therapy. When you enter this place you're greeted with a friendly reception and they even learn your name if you're a patient. The staff is very knowledgeable and understanding in the injury you have and will create a plan for your rehabilitation. The facility is very clean as well. The layout for the treatment room is open, you will see other patients doing their routine, workouts or getting helped by a therapist. It was intimidating at first but once you've gone to a couple sessions it's not that bad at all. They also have private rooms, it depends on your type of injury. Sure at times it will be painful but at the end of each session they ice you down and use electrotherapy to help your muscles recover. I shattered and dislocated my right elbow in August 2018 after tripping on a broken sidewalk. After a 5 1/2 hour surgery and a 10 day recovery, I was told by my doctor that I should start physical therapy twice a week. I could barely bend or extend my elbow joint, couldn't rotate my wrist and my grip strength was not good at all. But thank goodness for Proliance Sports Therapy! I was able to schedule my first appointment with no problem whatsoever and always received friendly and helpful service. At first, my therapist, Jenny, just did some light massage and light stretching to work out the stiffness and inflammation--and it barely seemed like anything. But that's exactly what I needed. Physical therapy isn't a sprint, it's a marathon and you can't be in a rush to recover (even though you are). With every session, there was progress--minor as it may have been--but always forward momentum. Jenny never pushed me too hard or too fast and was always quick to check if a stretch was too much or too painful. It's now December and I have only two sessions left and my elbow is almost back to its full range of extension and ability--and it's all thanks to them. From the stretches to the ultrasound treatments to the rehab and massage, I am constantly floored and amazed by how much better I got from week to week. I can't thank them enough for their good nature and humor, their professionalism and their kindness during a very hard struggle in my life. I had a very unintended fall and was rushed to Overlake Hospital with a broken hip. Dr. Jonah Hulst a hip replacement and I can not speak highly enough of his kindness, communication skills--he explained all options clearly and let me make the final decision--follow-up, concern and care. Although this was certainly not a scheduled surgery, I don't believe I could have make a better decision if I had known in advance. He had offices in Bellevue and in Issaquah, and I went for the follow-up in Issaquah. Everyone at the office was helpful and once again, when I saw Dr. Hulst, he was very patient with me and answered all my questions. When I told him that my goal was to be dancing again by Feb. 14, he assured me that he doesn't think that's an unreasonable goal (we'll see)! read more

I spent 8+ wks here this summer, where Nicole Jimenez worked on tedonitis (tendonosis , since i've been having the issue for 5+ yrs running half marathons) on my left knee. Nicole is a wonderful therapist, who quickly diagnosed my knee pain and provided specific exercises to help strenghten areas around my knee. She was very approachable throughout the therapy and provided me with good feedback on my posture while doing exercises. She was also upfront with me about the time it would take to heal - which was a little more than what the orthopaedic surgeon I had consulted had recommended. I am happy to report that I am almost pain-free at the moment, and able to run at least 3-4 miles consistently. I still follow her routine to ensure the pain does not come back, and I would highly recommend her services. read more

I experienced three therapists and was really happy with Brett and Tracy. And was not at all satisfied with Debbie Mazza, she never listened to what I want / need.... :( She never remembered, any my data ..... every appointment she would spending 5 minutes (of my already short, 30min session), reading through the notes and every time asked the same question, which she already had answers for(other PT would memorize/remember). The exercises I did with Debbie, I could easily do at home but the stretching part with PT is what I was looking for, however during the appointment she would focus on strengthening instead of stretching. My appointments were too short, 30mins for both wrist and elbow, I have asked for a longer appointments, which I had earlier with other therapists(before I was handed over Debbie) but Debbie refused it. Other therapists would do their best to help patient to restore his range of motion. Instead I have heard: "We are not seeing any progress, so we will have to change our appointments to once a week". Instead of focusing more on the problem she actually walking away from it. I have spoken/seen other PTs after I left Debbie and they all confirmed that the amount of attention/care and time was spend on my injure rehab was far from desired. I felt that she never listened to my feedback. I felt like this was just a "job" for her. I would not recommend Debbie Mazza at Proliance. I would highly recommend Brett and Tracy though. It's your health so think well and do your research who you will be working with. read more

The care and treatment I received at Proliance Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation was phenomenal. I was almost certainly headed for a surgical fix, but my Orthopedic Surgeon suggested that PT might help my calcific tendinitis. The front desk personnel were always welcoming and helpful with scheduling and any billing questions I had. They were always pleasant to everyone, early in the morning. I went to PT for about 3 months, twice per week. I was so impressed with the Therapists and Assistants. Everyone at Proliance treated the patients with respect, they listened to their feedback, and provided the most professional care. Every visit the Therapist would give me exercises to do at home and follow up with how my shoulders felt after both office treatments and the home exercises. I had a bit of a challenge with an exercise or two and a different movement was prescribed which worked beautifully. I would recommend ANYONE needing Physical Therapy to try Proliance Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation. All staff members are caring, wonderful professionals. I highly recommend Proliance Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation to anyone who needs physical therapy. I was a patient who was in twice a week for about 6 months after having ACL surgery and I never had a negative experience. All the Therapists are very knowledgable and friendly which I found encouraging throughout my recovery. Every time I went in, the Aides and Therapists were all aware of the progress I had made and any special needs of mine that required attention. They have a vast range of exercises that not only rehabilitate your current injury, but work to prevent similar injuries from happening in the future. I was sent home after every appointment with a clear set of exercises to do on my own to help the healing process along. The exercises that I did were always helpful and I never felt as though I was being pushed to do something with which I could re-injure myself. I saw a PA for a nagging problem with my knee. The appointment was handled just fine An X-ray was taken but revealed no problems. I was directed to have an mri and that the PA would review my mri and contact me to tell me the results, diagnosis and a course of action. Over two months have passed and no follow up or even a reply from Proliance. Two messages and a letter asking the PA to contact me and let me know if I need another appointment or what have been ignored. If the PA is baffled and cannot determine what is causing my knee pain, fine I can live with "I don't know" as an answer. But it's not cool to be blown off or ignored after a follow up was promised. read more
