I didn't have an appointment, and walked in with someone that did. He was nice enough to let me tour with him and his daughter, so the Leasing agent didnt have to do separate tours AND I wouldn't have to wait. I forget the name, but the biggest upgraded 1 bedroom, but it was the one I liked mostly. mostly.

Beautiful property, but READ EVERY WORD BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING…read more The property itself is gorgeous, and my tour guide paid attention to details about my lifestyle when showing me units, which, that part was genuinely great. But unfortunately, I got badly burned on the application/holding fees, and I've learned I'm not the only one. I was never told upfront that I only had 72 hours to withdraw my application and get my fee back. I asked multiple times, both during the tour and on follow-up calls, whether I could get my $200 holding deposit back if I didn't like the unit once it was actually ready to view. I was told yes, every time. I specifically said I didn't want to sign anything with the lease, until I'd seen the actual unit I'd be living in. When the time came for the approval phone call, I felt pressured into moving forward on a unit I hadn't agreed to sight-unseen, and ended up losing $250 ($50 application fee + $200 holding fee) rather than deal with it further. (Now imagine multiple other applicants in the same situation... it can add up..) This is my first time renting in the US, so yes, I should have read the fine print more carefully instead of trusting what I was told on the phone and in person. That's on me. I can own that. But if they're loose with the truth before you've signed anything, I have to wonder what else is buried in the lease itself. TO FUTURE RENTERS AND OTHER FIRST TIME RENTERS: bring someone experienced with US leasing, bring a real estate agent, or at minimum read every single document before you hand over any money... don't rely on verbal reassurances, even if the staff seem trustworthy. I trusted the leasing team, including Toni, and it cost me $250 to learn that lesson

I came from a place that did not have an in-unit washer and dryer, so having a washer and dryer was…read morea true blessing. It was actually what drew my family in. A concern that I had was the stairs' railings that were wide. Also, the top of the stairs to the bottom had a railing short enough for a determined child to jump from. I worried that my children would fall and get seriously hurt. We had to buy a board to place over the gaps, as my toddler liked to dangle her legs through them. The last night we spent there, our toddler actually sat by the railing and dangled her legs through. It actually reinforced to us how important that board had been. Not anyone's fault but ours though. We didn't anticipate that this would be a problem. My major issue with this place was an infestation we had, and how the staff handled it. From implying that we were not being sanitary, and providing a treatment that was not helpful especially because we had to leave our house for 3+ hours for the treatment to penetrate, and even then, the issue was not resolved. Another issue is the trash spot being on the same line as the homes. The trash was basically your next door neighbor. Additionally, the trash area doesn't seem big enough to accommodate the residents' trash. Most times, the place would be overflowing with trash. This just created a breeding ground for bugs- which there are. The problem with certain bugs is that they are resilient, and you would essentially need to break down the floor boards to get rid of them. So, back to my point: no amount of treatment will work if they don't get to the source. It will be a costly venture for sure. My tip: when you get there, don't get too excited, and once you see even one bug, call them and tell them! Keep a record of your conversations. If you let enough time pass by, you will see more, and by then, you've lived there long enough that they will flip it on you and say you caused the issue. No amount of paint overs will solve this. My family and I could have enjoyed this place really. But the bug issues made it hard to continue to live in.

Initially, the leasing experience was positive, and the staff were attentive. However, after signing the lease, my experience changed significantly. Communication became inconsistent, and interactions with office staff were often unprofessional. During my tenancy, there were recurring maintenance issues, including frequent fire alarm activations and periodic water outages. Despite these disruptions, rent and additional fees remained unchanged, which was frustrating given the circumstances. Security has also been a major concern. Over the course of my stay, my motorcycle was stolen, my car was broken into, and multiple packages went missing. Unfortunately, I did not feel that these incidents were adequately addressed by either the leasing office or corporate management, and follow-up communication was lacking. Noise levels were another ongoing issue. Between nearby traffic, trains, and disturbances from other residents at various hours, it was often difficult to enjoy a quiet living environment. When concerns were raised, responses from management suggested that these issues were considered "normal," which did not align with my expectations as a tenant. I also question the authenticity of some of the positive reviews, as residents are encouraged to leave feedback upon move-in and to mention specific staff members. This may not fully reflect long-term living experiences. After escalating concerns to corporate management, I received notices on my door, which felt retaliatory rather than constructive. Additionally, the presence of unauthorized individuals on or near the property raised further concerns about safety and oversight. Overall, my experience did not meet expectations, particularly in terms of management responsiveness, maintenance, and security. I would encourage prospective tenants to thoroughly research and consider these factors before making a decision.

Chris first attempted to sell us a house that we believed to be overpriced. My husband and I passed on the property and then asked the agent / developer if he had any additional properties for sale, and he said "No". But it wasn't long before we came across an even better property that was newly built and for a lot less. Then to our surprise, the 2-story house was also owned by Chris. After our offer was accepted, my husband and I contacted Chris and asked him why he didn't inform us about the new house that was available. Chris said in an irritated tone, "It slipped my mind". Seemingly embarrassed, Chris became angrier due to being confronted or caught. Despite how polite my husband talked to him, Chris was disrespectful and continued raising his voice and speaking over him. Chris told us that he would call us the next day, but he didn't. Though he accepted our offer for his house, he would end up not keeping his word. I am not in a hurry to buy a home and have nothing personal against Chris. I just wanted to tell our story because I believe it is a cautionary tale for others. Good luck!
